Better than the brand I've been using for years.

I have long hair and have been using a hair catcher/drain protector for many years. I used a brand I liked well enough to re-order. Recently my bathtub drain was VERY slow and a plumber told me he found 2 hairballs clogging the drain. I bought this item based on reviews and I'm glad I did! The drain protector stays put in my tub and definitely catches more hair than the model I had been using. Also, the model I was using would eventually leave small rust stains. This is stainless steel with a silicone ring around the edge. No rust stains and I think it will be very durable. It's easy to pick the collected hair off of the drain protector. The hair collects on top and doesn't catch in the holes. Meanwhile, the water drains well. What more could I ask for?

No more ‘hair spiders’

Love this! It shaved at least 10 minuntes off my already-too-long showers. No more pulling my hairs off my hand one by one and swirling them into a ‘hair spider’ in the shower wall. Note: to keep it in place, step on it to make it concave, otherwise, it will move.

great cheap catcher for non-tub showers.

Perfect for my shower. PRO: -catches hair really well. I was skeptical but, confirmed. -inexpensive. -basically the same as a product from OXO. -Would probably work great for a kitchen sink too, dunno why you would use it that way. CON: -not already included with most regular showers? -won't work great for a bathtub? -bad choice for a bathroom sink? -Honestly, there are no cons.

Does its job well!

I shed like I was a hairy cat in a previous life every time I shower so I am very happy to have found and brought this shower drain! I choose it due to the high customer reviews. It is a great drain protect that does it's job well - it easily traps hair without causing a backup of water. I've not had any problems with the water draining slower after using this drain. I also haven't had to clean my drain with strong anti-clogging chemicals for years since I've used this!

Pros: * great material, do not rust at all * very effective, grasp all hair * perfect fit, 4.5” diameter fits all standard shower drain Cons: * none I love this little thing, it does what it says; and it is made with good material, so far we have used it for months and it didn’t rust at all. The silicon edge prevents it from slipping around in the shower. It is a little bit pricy, but it’s better than all the old hair catchers we had. I would definitely recommend this item.

It works great

It works, see the pictures.. i have a condition and currently shedding a large amount of hair, it caught all of it and even after lifting it up there was no hair on the other side so it looks like none got through The only confusing thing is that I thought it suctioned to the floor but turns out it just sits on top of the drain. Sometimes you can move it my accident with your foot

I've tried three different drain protectors this is the best. It grabs hair and holds onto it on the outside. Nothing gets through this one. I have really thick long hair and have clogged every pipe in every house we have ever lived in. My plumbing bills have been through the roof, if i had only found this little contraption earlier.

Perfect fit to save my shower drain

After a $400 plumber's bill (I know, yikes!!! 😱😱😱) I decided to buy a hair catch for our shower. We have a stall style shower so I had no luck finding good options at the store, but this fits perfectly over our drain. It catches so much hair and it's easy to clean (you pick the hair off the surface and toss it). The only con I can think of is that it doesn't latch on the drain in any way, it just lays on top of it, so you could scoot it with your foot if you step on the drain while showering.

Sturdy and it Works!

I have tried a lot of variations on this product over the years, and this is my favorite. The plastic ones rip, the silicone ones stain and curl, and this one will not do either! I love that it is flat. I have a drain in the middle of my large shower stall, so the flat feature is amazing, and hard to find that really works. Since it doesn't get "creepy" like other materials, my kids are more likely to pick up the hair it catches. I cannot say enough good about this product.
