Works well
Everything you need. It took a couple tries to realize what I was doing wrong, but I wired the other 4 connections at the box that the TWC guy was too lazy to do, so I could put the modem for the alarm system in a better location, followed by cutting the 400 feet of cable he left for the cable modems to a sane length, all in short order.

Great Scissors for Cutting Artist Canvas
I create giclee canvas prints. This scissor is perfect for cutting excess canvas prior to stretching. The tip end is very sharp, allowing me to cut a very small, parts of an inch sections for the corner folds. Came with an unexpected type of bonus scissor that I can't really describe, given that I have not seen anything like it before. Picture attached (but the one I got was black). Whatever you call it, it is VERY useful.

Amazing
Bought these for fabric but also for leather work. I honestly didn't think they'd be great for heavy leather but was hoping they'd cut thin garment leather easier than messing with razors. These bad boys cut through every type of leather I have in stock with ease. This includes heavy belt and saddle leather and also hardened "armor" leather. On top of that, it required little additional effort to cut through this heavy leather, and the cuts are just as clean as if I was cutting through paper. These are truly amazing scissors and I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again (if someone ever stole my pair because I think that's the only way they'd need replacing)

It started looking like a rats nest
I needed to shorten my 75' coax cable That was attached to my outdoor antenna. It started looking like a rats nest, but did not want to my another cable as the one I had was perfectly fine. I never used one of these before, so I was a bit worried about how to do it. After a few minutes of fumbling around for some scrap cable, I noticed that it was not cutting the two seperate cuts like it should have. After looking at some how to vids, I learned that both blades on the cutter can be adjusted. I used the included HEX wrench that came with this, and made a quick adjustment (raised the first blade). The next cut I made was perfect. It left the label sticking out, and the plastic inside perfectly exposed so I could add the connector. All I did was push on the connector on tight with a bit of a twisting action to ensure the copper wire was flush with the top of the connector. Then all I did was place it in the crimper and squeezed. It compressed the fitting perfectly, and was on really tight. The crimper is smooth and easy to use, and built really well. I also love how they give you a bunch of indoor/outdoor connectors. Everything you need to fix or shorten a coax cable comes in this kit, and will work with any size as the stripper allows you to adjust for many different sizes. I 100% recommend!

Professional quality!
As soon as I picked these up and started to cut, every other scissors I've ever had felt as if they were scissors for a 5 year old. You can feel the fine machining of the blades to fit incredibly close. They are weighted perfectly so they feel like a natural extension of your hand. The position of the blade makes them perfect for running along gift wraps. (It's the holiday season now, hence my need to buy these.) I don't know what High carbon steel means except that it cuts through paper, cardboard, plastic oyster shell packaging, and more like they were butter. ("Cuts like buttah." my grandmother would say.) The original list price is way out of my range, but the discount that was posted yesterday made them totally worth it. More expensive than the ordinary rubber handled ones I've bought in the past. But quality counts. One thing I was worried about is that the handles aren't the super-soft padded ones you see elsewhere. These are the same steel as the blades with a very thin rubberized grip. The grip isn't really for padding, but more to keep them from slipping. (And it does a good job at doing that.) So you might worry, especially if you have mild arthritis, if the handles will start to hurt after a while. Obviously I can't judge your comfort level. But I can say that these are made so well they slide out and in with no difficulty. Also, the larger part of the handle is really big and all my fingers fit without any cramping. I expect that guys with big hands will appreciate this. The price is a little more than I would ordinarily spend. But I have a feeling that I will have these for a long, long time. And if I use the knife/scissors sharpener guy who travels around the city, they will be perfect. I only wish I could jump in and show these to anyone who has skipped them because of the price. They are worth it!

Great for the DIY lovers.
Another winner! We are working on running cable and what not for our basement, and this was the right price for our small project. I was pleasantly surprised with the heavy duty quality! Pros: 1) this is a nice heavy metal. I am quite pleased with the weight of this and how sturdy it seems. I think this will last for a long time! 2) The ends for this - whatever they are called...are nice. They are nicely threaded, and they also seem like a good quality, heavy duty construction. 3) works really easily. We are cable running rookies, and this tool was so easy to use. It is nice to not have to battle every last thing when you are trying to get a project done. This tool makes it nice and easy for us. Cons: None on this one. I love how it works and so does the hubby. IT is really nice to have a tool that gives you great confidence so you can continue with fun little DIY projects.

Excellent for DIY - impressed the cable guy, asked where I got it ;)
This definitely requires a learning curve. 1) Starting with a fresh cut wire, you will initially use the gray wire stripper by clamping it onto the wire and spinning it on your finger around the wire with little hole. That allows this wire cutter to remove the exterior plastic casing from the wire. I used the six setting for a standard cable line. You will want to cut off about 3/4 of an inch of the black wire. That will expose the interior wire, coated in a white insulation, and the silver metal wires. 2) remove the gray cutter, and change the head to D - this will require you pushing the orange square out rotating the head, and pushing the orange square back in again. Line up the little arrow to point to the D. 3) remove about 1/4 of an inch of the white insulation from the tip of the wire. 4) Fold back the loose, silver, metal wires so that they hug along the exterior of the remaining black insulated wire. That will leave you with for the back wires, a link of white plastic wire, and then an exposed wire. I will be about 1/4 of an inch of each section. 5) put the cable head on this end. You will need to shove a bit to get the blue portion over where the metal wires are folded down. Push and twist firmly until this is settled snug on the wire. None of the loose metal wire should be visible. You will need to cut everything again if they are sticking out. If you look in the hole at the top of the cable attachment they wire should come out the hole and stick out. The white "milk "portion should be all the way to the top of the adapter. My cable guy told me "fill the milk to the top of the cup" 6) At this point, it should look almost like a cable wire. Fit that piece into the crimping tool. The red and metal tool, and press down as firmly as you can. That should be the end of your job. It requires some common sense as there are no instructions included. It is a quality set, and does everything you need to do. It's not as nice as the one the cable guy had, but he tested the line after I completed my repairs and said it looked good. He did go back and do it himself, just because he was paid to do it by the company, but the lines were working fine. This is a great way to save a little money, take care of a DIY, or rescue yourself if you're in a pinch. I used this to remove the 4 foot long cable lines that were in my living room and bedroom. Shortened them down and put a cable jack on the wall, instead. Also, my contractor cut my cable line by accident when doing some work. I was able to join the lines back together with two of these adapters and a male piece I picked up at the hardware store. The fix gave me Wi-Fi for a day until the cable company could come. I would absolutely buy this again. I didn't think to take pictures while I was working on this. If I bring it out again I'll post pictures with this review.

Great kit for the home user
Great kit for the home user. All components (crimper, stripper and connectors) are good quality and work well. Working with RG6 cable, I put the orange insert on 9 (remove orange insert, rotate so that 9 lines up with pointer and insert). Next, press the stripper to open it all the way and look at the 2 cutter blades and you will see one of them has a round notch cut it in. Insert end of RG6 coax from the side opposite the round notch and allow stripper to clamp down on coax. Rotate stripper in direction of arrow about 10 times and remove. You should be able to easily pull the cuttings from the coax and have a perfectly stripped cable for inserting into the F Connectors.

Easy to use
Did the job. Easy to use. I'm an amateur, so tested cutter on some spare line to perfect cuts. Installed OTA antenna on attic, routed cable to HVAC flume to under the house, cut cable, installed splitter, then ran to individual rooms. Flawless. Radio Shack is going out of business for a reason, they had identical items(except with Radio Shack logo), but sold them individually. Saw all parts at 40% of off at a store closeout, and this set was still cheaper. Buy this.
