He really loves it. Drives the dogs crazy too. It really is well built! That’s the only reason I’m reviewing a kids toy. It holds up to my big ol cats and a 100lb dog. It can hold up to your kid. If only I could find yoshi.

Very durable fast entertaining

An amazing race car set. Very durable easy move with track put together. Car are fast. Get deal. My grandson loves it. It is 4. My 11 year old grandson had a fun time also.

Great Toy!!

I was very concerned about buying this toy. My 5 year old being very obsessed with Super Mario saw this same one at Marshall's and I looked at it and noticed that it was very cheap looking and poorly made little cars. I looked it up here and thought twice about it until I finally I decided to buy it. Fast forward to Christmas day, my 5 year old was thrilled and set up was very simple however we had trouble getting the cars to drive correctly. They were always fly off the raceway. After a few minutes of trying to make them work I figured out that the little pieces on the bottom of the cars need to be bent inwards. After that they worked very well. The cars go very fast. My 5 year old absolutely loves it.

My son loved this! It worked great and he had a lot of fun racing everyone. I didn't have any problems with it.

A little ingenuity makes for a great first race set

This race track is great fun. It goes so fast you couldn't tell who was winning. So I bought Max Traxxx Digital Lap Counter. I altered the Lap Counter by removing (cut) the bottom center piece off. It fits perfect over the track and now you know who the winner is!

It was what I expected, my 4yo and 2yo like it

Firstly, it feels a bit cheap. What do you expect for $20? But, we have not had any real problems with it. The tracks seem to slowly work loose, but it is slow, and easy to push back together. One minor annoyance is the contacts on the cars are woven wire like a ground strap. This works well, except that their flexibility lets them get misaligned easily when the cars fly off onto the carpet. They are easy to push back into alignment, but it gets tedious with little kids who like to crash off the track. Some reviewers complained about the cars being uncontrollably fast. That is basic slot car (or any kind) of racing. Race cars are always fast enough to wreck if the driver is not skilled enough. After only a few sessions, my just turned 4yo can keep the car on the track at a quick pace, or send it flying off at will. The 2yo can drive slowly around the track, but prefers to send the car zooming off the track.

My 3yr old thinks it awesome. It works week and snaps together right. Don’t forget the it uses 4 c batteries.

Great value for a children's racetrack!

I bought this for Christmas so that my 6 year old, 3 year old and 2 year old grandkids could play with it. It has been an excellent purchase. I hesitated buying it because of some of the less than stellar reviews. All I can say is that all three of my grandchildren can operate the speed controllers and the cars stay on the track. For the price - this is an excellent product.
