This was a great purchase! I am always looking for a tape measure and his way I have them in three strategic spots in the house. They work well and are good quality!

Nice tape measures and fantastic customer service!

Updated review Nov 2018: The company (Home Planet Gear) went above and beyond to back their product... They sent us a whole new set since we had to throw away 1 tape measure that broke. Now we have extras and have had no other issues with them not working. The replacement set they sent even had a hand written note included! Thank you, Taylor, and Home Planet Gear for standing behind your product and making me a happy customer! Old review: Good price for 3 tape measures! I like how it shows the fractions for the small increments - nice for those learning about measuring and fractions. It works well, and the tape goes out and in smoothly. The only issue I have with these is the rubber button on the side that you hold down to keep the tape temporarily out. It is not connected to the plastic side in any way, and it sometimes falls out (especially with my 3 year old playing with the tape measure). One time while measuring something, he pushed the button and it fell INSIDE the tape measure. The tape wouldn't retract and we couldn't retrieve the button, so we had to throw the whole thing away.

Great value and ALWAYS needed!

I am ALWAYS running around looking for a tape measure., so when I saw a pack of three, I went for it. Because they were so inexpensive, I was worried that the products would be flimsy. But these are full on quality tape measures, small enough to tuck a few of them around the house but sturdy enough to do the job. My plumber even asked me where he could get one because they are also lightweight. I will be buying more because you know you can never have enough.

Great for what it is.

Convenient size to keep one everywhere! I bought the three pack to keep one in my desk, one in my tool bag, and one to loan. They're the perfect size for most small measuring tasks and I haven't had any issues with any of them. All of the locks function properly and they reel back in without any problems. Overall a great little tool to keep around!

As handy as advertised

Originally I wanted to order just one ruler to give to my grandson since the fractions are printed right on the ruler. This makes it a terrific teaching aid showing how to read a ruler. I have found that reading a ruler is like riding a bicycle. You never forget how to read it but you do get rusty. When I used a ruler all the time building things I read it instinctively. Now I find myself counting the graduations. This ruler makes it simple to read. I couldn’t order just one but now I wish I had 6. This ruler is as handy as advertised. It is small, light weight and is 10 feet long. Not only does it lock but it also has a button to temporarily hold the rule while you read it. Once again Home Planet Gear has a very well designed product that makes sense and works well. Every one of their products shares the same qualities. They are well made, well designed, and just make sense. If it is made by Home Planet Gear, I know I can trust it.

very good value

I have a couple heavy duty 25" locking tape measures but they aren't appropriate for every small job around the house. I put these in various drawers for quick access. Good quality for the price. An extra star for clever packaging!

Terrific quality for the price

We own a number of tape measures, few of which we can ever locate when we actually need them, so I appreciate the handy hanging loop and the bright color of the case. There's another handy feature, a sort of instant-lock (button on the side) if you just need to freeze the tape in place for a moment. Is this a life-changing product? No, but it's a perfectly good tape measure that's much better than you'd expect at the per-unit price.

Light and numerous

Best advantage of this little trio is that they're not heavy. And three of them are too many to misplace. The coiled tape measure itself is suitably rigid for measuring, but the case itself is light. And 10ft. are long enough for most purposes.

Great Deal - Place All Over Your Home

I usually keep a Stanley 25 foot tape in my kitchen for measuring baguettes etc. Now I have these smaller ones for that job and it can go back to the tool box. I did not need the lanyard so I cut it off. I also unscrewed the clip so it won't scratch the counters. I also keep one near my armchair to visualize products I see on Amazon. They are slightly bigger than I expected but the blades are strong. The push to hold button is a nice feature as is the markings in 1/8 inches
