Excellent frame!

This frame was ridiculously well packed: Amazon packaging aside, it probably took me 10 minutes to cut off the plastic and bubble wrap surrounding the frame. Once unwrapped, I was pleasantly surprised to see how easy it was to remove the backing: instead of the staples that normally hold the cardboard backing on, this had something like spring clips: took about 10 seconds to loosen the clips and pull the cardboard off. This frame is sturdy and well-made, and is an excellent value. Great deal!

Surprise Great Quality

This is one of the best frames I have seen. The wood back and attached hardware make it so easy to snap in a picture and if you change picture it is very well engineered with 8 spring swivel back retaining clips. Hangers are also mounted on back. Great value and quality.

Great - simple frame

This frame is nice and simple, it is plastic with metal corner L brackets for re-enforcement of strength, but it looks nice, especially with a glossy/aluminum print!

Very well constructed

I know many people probably wouldn’t consider plexiglass as well constructed but it is ... this is a thicker type of plexiglass, not by much but it actually comes with a plastic film over it that keeps it protected and another shrinkwrap over as it gets shipped to you, so as to avoid any dents or nicks during shipment... this poster board has little sliding type clips in the back that actually just slide into place and make it very easy to pull your poster in and out ... but YOU MUST be extremely careful handling it because you cannot hold it with one hand, letting it hang by the side because it will bend and snap & you will cry 😢 you must hold it with both hands and I suggest holding with both hands as you hang it as well but it does have a nice hook that’s attached to the thicker part of the posterboard on the back and makes it easier for hanging ... hope this helps

Good quality poster frames.

The reviews on these frames were mixed. I couldn’t find two frames the same in the 12x18 size in the box stores. So I decided to take a chance and order these. Mine came packaged in a big box and a smaller box which held the frames. They had corner protectors on the frames. No scratches or anything else that some of the other reviewers talked about. There is however a protective film on BOTH SIDES OF THE PLEXI GLASS! Very pleased with these frames. Remember they are for posters, not a Renoir painting.

Very good frame

I am very surprised at the quality of this frame. I buy a lot of frames, and this one is by far the best I have gotten on Amazon as far as poster frames go. I use them on the diamond dotz pictures a lot, and they work very well for this.

THERE ARE NO SCRATCHES! Just plastic film on both sides.

These frames are a great value for about 8 bucks. Don't believe the negative reviews.Yes, they are black plastic with an acrylic insert and fiberboard backing. I'm not sure what others expected for the price. But they are well protected in shipping with corner covers, plastic is shiny black, acrylic is crystal clear, and backing seems sturdy enough for the purpose with plenty of closures. Here's the problem: there is plastic film on BOTH sides of the acrylic. There is a sticker on only the front (which doesn't tell you there is plastic on both sides). See pic with review. The people who are seeing scratches are removing only the front plastic. The scratches on the back film are then showing up. Remove the film on both sides and you have perfectly clear acrylic. The way these acrylic sheets are manufactured with film applied at the factory, it's almost impossible for there to be scratches under the film. I can see how people made the mistake, but now you won't. I ordered the 6 pack (12x18 size) and it came in an outer box with three smaller boxes inside. Each inner box has 2 frames (which is why the other option is to buy a pair). The boxes worked great to slip everything back in for safekeeping once I had the pictures loaded and ready to gift. The pic attached shows all 6 packed back in the box after being used.

Good value; good product

Purchased 2-2pks (total of 4 frames) to display some water color artwork and they work perfectly. They are not too heavy but not flimsy either. Great value & gets the job done. I didn’t need the 8x10 matting as the artworks are 11x14 but I kept the mat in the frame behind the artwork and it still fit perfectly. I didn’t have to fight it to lock in the backboard.

Easy to open and great quality

I love this frame was very easy to open on the back and very easy to put in my caricature ! The multiple hanging options is nice and I’m so glad this will preserve my memory!

Great for picture walls

We bought a few of these for a picture wall. The wall is an exterior wall (made of brick) so we needed frames that were lightweight and able to be hung with command strips. These are the perfect frame, they come with a light plastic film on them that you peel off when ready to hang so no scratches happen in transit. They have been hung for a few months now with command strips with no issues!
