Waterproof and clear - a good combination
When I saw that the glue is advertised as waterproof, I decided to give it a try. I have a glass cutting board that had two rubber pads fall off. One got lost and was replaced by a button. I used different glues to try to keep the pads in place, some didn't hold at all, others could not survive the dishwasher. Gorilla Glue held fast, even after going through the dishwasher two days after I applied it. I may have to redo the button because I put more glue on than I needed. It stuck out past the button. The excess was affected by the dishwashing, so I had to pull a little bit of it off. The regular pad stayed on without any problems. The glue is clear; so it is hard to tell, even through the glass, that the repairs have been made.

E6000 alternative
Like E6000 it is waterproof. It is now my preferred choice over E6000. Not quite as messy. Sets up faster. Stronger bond.

Strong and weather resistant
I clipped the corner of a brick house with a loader bucket (it was my own) during a lawn renovation, and popped the corners off of two bricks! Rather than drilling out the mortar and replacing the bricks I used this product to replace the pieces! I then replaced the broken mortar with new. After about four hours I rubbed a little dirt on the almost cured mortar to create an aged look to match the 25 year old brick job! You can't tell that it was ever damaged, and by the way I'm pretty picky about my work! It worked better than expected and has lasted through inclement weather, upon checking it recently it still seems rock solid. I highly recommend this product!

Did a good job reattaching the cork sole of my Haflinger clogs
The cork soles on my Haflinger wool clogs had become partially detached on each clog. This is the second time this has happened (I've owned them for over 10 years now). The first time I fixed it with some sort of contact cement that worked well enough for a few years, but I couldn't find it after a couple moves. The Gorilla Clear Grip Contact Adhesive seemed to be something similar, so I took a chance on it. I think it did a good job. I followed the instructions, puting the adhesive on both sides I wanted to connect, the cork sole and the wool felt upper. I waited a couple of minutes, then pressed them together. I ended up placing some heavy books on them to press the felt uppers down around the whole soles, and left them for a few days. I've worn them a few times now and it seems to be holding very firm. I'll update if it doesn't hold as well as it appears it will.

Best choice
Have tried other brands. This is the best. Be sure to clamp and let dry thoroughly. Some reviewers don’t appear to understand that you need to apply glue to both surfaces and let stand for a few minutes before clamping.

Amazing glue grip, and easy to administer tube.
I bought this particular Gorilla glue to attach a fin to my kayak. The package states that it is not recommended for use with polyethylene plastics. I followed the instructions exactly, even let the adhesive sit for two minutes before bonding. The result was phenomenal. After letting it set for 24-hours under about 50-pounds of weight, I added a layer of spray sealant to make sure it was watertight. I can lift the 40-pound kayak by the fin alone with no issue with the bond coming loose. I also love this tube, because it makes the glue easier to spread over larger areas.

This glue will fuse things together better than the Potara earrings from Dragon Ball
Well... This glue is amazing. So I had a shaving brush fall apart on me... It had some crappy glue holding the brush to the handle. As I shave in the shower, I wanted something to hold it together that was strong. Following the directions, I put the glue on both the inside of the handle and the bottom of the brush, waited 2 minutes, and then joined the pieces. After several hot showers shave the glue has held strong without any signs of failing me. Even a small portion of the glue which spilled over around the joint has yet to even discolor, remains clear, and this is absolutely fantastic. additionally, I had a fake-drawer in a cabinet I tried to use this glue on... I thought it wasn't enough to hold it, I had glued both sides and left it to sit for about 12 hours... after that, I pushed the face into the cabinet in the proper location and... remarkably, the glue had enough strength to hold the thing in place, despite drying for some time! Amazing glue, great stuff! I only wish it came in a slightly smaller container because I probably will never use this entire tube... this is like... a lifetime supply for me.

Great glue!
Purchased an expensive ceramic planter, which was broken apart into several pieces, for a really good price. Used this glue to put it back together. It is now solid and tight. You can still see where it was cracked but turned that side around to the back and it looks like new. Happy with the results! Will buy another package to keep around as it is really great glue.

So far so GREAT! Used to glue several pieces of wood together ...
So far so GREAT! Used to glue several pieces of wood together on broken cat tree. Followed directions and the wrapped up with Gorilla Glue Duct tape for about a day. When read to put everything back together glue kept everything in place. My cats are happy, once again

This stuff works really well I used it on my glaive project as well
it took a lot of things to make my glaive project come to life I had to buy glue paint display case lights etc and I chose this clue because I wanted something very clear and it works and I use it on other projects gorilla glue does work the secret of it is you just have to use several coats and let it dry completely if you get it on your hands don't worry it's not like crazy glue you don't have to use paint thinner which is gray it comes off but it works and I'm very happy with the product and I would buy this again in the future in fact gorilla glue is really the only glue or the only company that uses gorilla products I use their double-sided sticky tape and it works well as can be expected and it's actually better than the hirings ones because it lasts
