Inexpensive Purchase I would certainly not hesitate to buy it again!
For an inexpensive little coffee maker, the Mixpresso Makes a great Single cup of coffee! Because if it’s size it’s a perfect “ take a long” for traveling. I’ve also been using it by the side of my bed for mornings when I’d like a cuppa’ coffee but don’t feel like putting the rest my body in gear. LOL!! I’ve also used it in the evening before bed to brew a cup of Chamomile tea. Great Purchase I would certainly not hesitate to buy it again

Small Footprint + Great Value = Buy It
I am happy with my purchase, but let me address other reviews that almost made me not buy this k-cup brewer: 1) "Hard to fill up." This has nothing to do with this k-cup brewer. Try using your coffee mug as a precision water pouring device and you will be sorely disappointed. YES, water DOES go everywhere if you try and aim water out of a coffee mug. The reason is there is not a pouring lip on a coffee mug. Duh. Solution: we keep a Pyrex measuring cup next to the coffee mugs and PROBLEM SOLVED. Fills with water quickly and easily, with no spills. 2) Next, I feel like a lot of reviewers were disappointed with the amount of the coffee output. Ten ounces, the amount it brews, is slightly less than a soda can (12 ounces). Pour that amount of liquid in your coffee cup before you order your machine and see if that'll be enough coffee for you. I included a photo of a full brew in my mug so you can see. It was fine for us, but I can imagine many Starbucks grande and venti drinkers that would be disappointed. FYI--a Starbucks 'tall' (SMALL) is 12 OUNCES. 3) Bad taste. YES, ours smelled/tasted metallic straight out of the box. After reading all the reviews, when I received my brewer I ran 6 cycles of water through and then brewed the first k-cup. The coffee was bitter and undrinkable. I then read the instructions for "descaling" in the booklet. (Fill with white vinegar and hit start so that it starts brewing, but without a k-cup. When it starts to brew shut OFF the machine and let it sit for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, hit start again so the vinegar is pumped out of the machine. THEN run water through (still no k-cup) for 6-10 times. I did it until I didn't smell any vinegar). Worked like a charm. Coffee tastes great. If this helped you, please click the "Helpful" button. Thanks! :)

Great value!
This is perfect for my office. Very compact, but has a long power cord (which was necessary for me because we cannot use extension cords). It does not hold a travel mug, but standard coffee cups fill nicely. I enjoy HOT coffee and the water temperature has not been a problem. I use San Francisco Bay coffee pods (not a "standard" k-cup) and they work just fine.

Great for small quantity coffee use
I have a medical condition where my hands are getting weaker and I cannot handle the larger coffee pot that I own. I was told about K-cup coffee pots and found this model. This machine takes up very little space on my counter. I made a few cups of coffee today after receiving the machine and so far it has worked great and the coffee is really hot when brewed. I was using the Dunkin' Donuts K-cups from the local store and the coffee tasted great.

Coffee maker perfect for RV life!
My husband and I travel in an travel trailer. I've always has a traditional drip coffee maker in the RV but prefer a Keurig type machine. I needed something that wouldn't take alot of space, easy to use and would make a great cup of coffee. The Mixpresso does it all. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

I received a call from their customer service department to identify that my machine is defective. It’s being replaced w/ a dsc.
Isaac called me back & told me I must have a defective machine so they are replacing my order w/ a new machine. He also gave me a $10 discount on their 50 count variety Mixpresso coffee pods. Restored my faith in ordering less expensive products that function as the expensive name brand products!

Nice single cup coffee maker
This is the very first single cup coffee maker I have ever owned. I've always used the 3 minute Bunn. However, my schedule has changed to where I make less coffee at home, in large quantities.. So I started reading reviews, like everyone does, on which unit to buy.. I didn't want to spend the money on the expensive models, and yet I didn't want something with a life of 1 month...I decided to give this model a try.. It was very straight forward to operate ( I'd never used one before ) . There are quick instructions on the lid, and it also comes with a paper manual.. I have used a few different K cups without any issues. You basically put in your K cup of your choice, fill it with water ( about a cup), and push the button.. The unit heats the water and automatically dispenses the coffee once it's ready to do so.. Then shuts off automatically.. I've been using it pretty much every day for two months with zero issues.. For $40.00 i am very happy with my purchase.. I hope i get many years of use out of it. The one thing you need to do, that sounds obvious, is to remember to put a cup under the unit before you start each time.. I forgot one of the first times and ended up with coffee all over my kitchen island.. Totally my fault and no reflection on the product... I did run white vinegar thru the unit prior to using it.. I did not experience any "plastic" taste as some other reviewers have stated.. I think it's a good idea to do it prior to using... I would recommend this coffee maker to anyone looking for a low cost one cup machine.

Move over Keurig
This little guy works better than my keurig ever did! Perfect size, silent for the most part, perfect for morning rush. Wish it held a little more water but besides that can't go wrong

Great little coffee maker
This is so great for one cup coffee needs. Not for a family, but for that one occasional cup....works great, really compact, bought this to take to the hospital for my husbands room, used the heck out of it too. Makes nice hot coffee, Is a 10 oz size, it was just perfect. It does take a bit longer than others of this kind, like a Keurig, BUT you put the water in as you need it, so it has to heat up, not a problem for me. I could wait the extra minute. .

Great little coffee maker!
I've only had this coffee maker a couple of days but it impressed me quickly. It's well made (made in Italy) and well designed. It's small and cool looking, pour 10 ozs of water through the filter opening, which is tapered nicely for the water, put pod in and wait about 2 minutes for good clean hot coffee. I got tired of the Keruig maker water tank that smells moldy no matter how many times you wash it out. This doesn't use a reservoir tank which is what I wanted. Another thing that impressed me was this is the second coffee maker I tried, the first by another manufacturer was made in China and the plastic had a strong odor that was leaving a funny taste in our coffee even after numerous clear cycles and a few coffee brews. The Mixpresso doesn't even recommend clear water cycles to flush but I ran a few anyway, I didn't notice any foul smell with it. That was impressive. Reliability....I have no idea but function and design is great for a low priced coffee maker.
