• COMPLETE SECURITY KIT - Each kit includes a premium, solid forged one-piece pad lock, three keys, 3/8" x 6' case hardened security chain and a cordura tube wear pad to prevent scratching of valuable paint jobs or finishes. Ideal for securing expensive machinery, motorcycles, shutters, doors, gates and more.
  • NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO DEFEAT OR CUT - The case hardened chain cannot be cut by hand with bolt cutters, and the lock includes a maximum security mechanism for ultimate protection. The square link shape of the chain does not allow bolt cutters to get a proper grip and the lock has been specially designed to be nearly impossible to grip with burglary tools. If you do not have the keys, you literally need an acetylene torch to defeat this chain and lock kit.
  • HIGHEST QUALITY MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION - The solid forged brass one-piece body padlock has an exclusive shape and design that cannot be defeated with any normal burglary tools. The case hardened security chain is hardened to 63 rc at 10% depth and 50 rc in the core, making it impossible to cut with bolt cutters or any other hand tool. No other lock and chain on the market is made of stronger materials or has a more difficult design for criminals to defeat.
  • ADDITIONAL PROTECTIVE FEATURES - The case hardened, square link security chain has an electro-galvanized finish for maximum corrosion protection, and it is fully covered in a cordura wear pad to protect against scratching on valuable tire rims, paint jobs, powder coating or other finishes.
  • DO NOT BE FOOLED BY IMITATIONS - Only Vulcan Brands premium case hardened security chain and lock kits have all of the premium features and materials required to keep your valuable machinery, motorcycles or facilities safe. Some other brands claim to be the best, but when you need to protect your valuables, there is only one choice - Vulcan Brands.

Unbelievable lock and chain. If you have anything that you keep locked up then definitely check this chain out. My 4' bolt cutters wouldn't even put a knick in the chain. Unless someone attacks this with a cutting torch or angle grinder they are not getting my bike. The guys Ratchet Strap Warehouse were amazing to work with so I bought a 2nd one for use on the road.

Very tough and secure would take a lot of work for the bad guys to break open

Thick, heavy and should keep honest people honest and those with intentions... well let's say they'll probably need an angle grinder and an extra battery to cut this off the bikes. If they can afford that they probably don't have to steal bikes for a living. This + 2 U-Locks keep our bikes safe even if they're sitting out the patio.

Amazing chain, bought to lock down our generator. Everyone is super envious. Great quality.

This is a great security chain for my trailer. My only wish is that it be a foot longer, but I was able to run it through a wheel and spring. The chain cover keeps the wheels from scratching. Such good quality that I'm thinking of buying another for the other side.

I love this lock. Its super heavy duty and it will deter a lot of idiot thief’s.The only downfall is that I had to go to a locksmith with the lock to get spare keys made because the lock is made It Italy and it is a tricky key to make. But the quality is worth the headache

Great lock and chain combo...probably the best available. Unless the thief is carrying a torch or portable angle grinder with extra batteries, my trailer and its contents aren't going anywhere. The 6 foot covered chain is just the right length as it feeds through the wheel, over the axle and back through the wheel. The new lock is a little sticky, but nothing a little machine oil can't cure. Love it!

This is a great combination. The chain is harder than bolt-cutter jaws --see various youtube videos on Pewag security chain-- and is coated to prevent rust. The cloth cover is a welcome addition. The padlock fits the chain perfectly in a way that prevents bolt cutters from reaching the shackle of the lock. The lock is apparently difficult for anyone other than an expert to pick --see youtube videos on picking the Viro Panzer-- but spare keys can still be made reasonably cheaply. The padlock is armor-plated (even on the sides, which apparently is an improvement over earlier similar Viro locks that exposed softer brass surfaces on the sides). Together, this lock and chain give a security mechanism that defeats even very strong bolt cutters, which is what I was after. Obviously it can be defeated by an angle grinder (as any lock or chain can), and possibly by drilling out the lock (although I haven't seen that tested). However, attacks with power tools would be somewhat difficult without putting the lock or chain in a vise, and more importantly would cause huge amounts of sparks and noise for over a minute. That's about the best security that it's possible to achieve with just a padlock and chain (given the amount of research that I was willing to do). The price (from Ratchet Strap Warehouse) is great too -- significantly cheaper than I was able to find equivalent secure lock and chain elsewhere. Both of the padlocks that I have received have worked very smoothly, with no sign of the stiff/wedged shackle that was reported in one review on Amazon. But just in case, I plan to occasionally squirt some WD-40 into the keyway and shackle housing. Note that both the lock and the chain are very heavy, which means that the 3' chain might sometimes be the better option. E.g. I ordered two of the 6' chains (and locks) for securing vehicles and trailers, but I also want to secure a gate that is in frequent use. As I don't need 6' length of chain for the gate, and the weight of 6' chain makes it somewhat unwieldy, I just ordered a 3' chain (with the same lock). Update on 9/11/17: Instead of WD-40, I've learned that it's best to use non-stick Teflon as a lubricant for padlocks. I'm using this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003UTX0R8/ Also, my earlier statement about "spare keys can still be made reasonably cheaply" is still yet to be verified, as none of our local locksmiths (in WA, USA) had the necessary blanks to be able to make keys for the Viro locks. I'm still trying to find a way to obtain spare keys.

I have one that I use to connect my motorcycle to my lawnmower in the garage; I purchased this one to attach my atv to the motorcycle. I really like the lock that comes with it also, I have been using one of those for a year or so and it is seemingly indestructible. The chain and locks are a small price to pay for added peace of mind. A few people would have to work very hard to get my 3 machines out of the garage, I guess they'd have to disassemble parts on each machine to free the chain. That would take a lot of time and effort

I tried 3 different type of camper tire locks. They all sucked! I even left very bad reviews on Amazon. I use this chain and lock for my camper. It's locked at home and at the camp ground(s) I totally feel safe! I should be getting an insurance discount for using this. Dont use those tire hub locks on Amazon(etc) they suck. too ease to break, and pick. Spend a little more $$ and get it right! Always buy more chain than you think you need! Better too long than too short! Wrap the chain thru the tire(s) and around the relief springs. -Scott
