Perfect for Ford 5.4 liter F-150 Plugs

This was perfect to get the plugs out of my 04 F-150 FX4 with the 5.4 Triton. I used this in conjunction with extensions and wobble extensions and didn’t have any issues. Recommend having lots of extensions and u joints on hand for the back plugs.

Perfect length for 2016 Subaru Forester

Bought with supplies to do a spark plug replacement on my wife’s 2016 Subaru Forester with the 2.5L flat 4 engine. This socket with the attached 3” length was perfect for the job. I removed battery and rear portion of air intake from the car, and was able to access spark plugs. The 3” extension was just short enough to snake into the spark plug recessed, but was long enough to spin with fingers once loose. There is a magnet in the socket to retain the spark plug once it is free so you can get it out.

Worked Like a Champ!

I couldn't have changed my plugs without this in my 2006 F150 (5.4 GAS), it has just enough bend in it to get back into the last cylinders....

Good quality tool

I'm a professional mechanic and i have been working with tools for the past 25 years. Big fan of snap on tools, but i must admit that this ares spark plug socket really impressed me. It is well made with a strong magnet, not a rubber grommet that could get stuck on the plug and the overall quality is very decent for the price. Will get the job done no problem and will last a long time. This 9/16 socket will also work on cars (like toyota, mazda) that requires a 14 mm socket.

2010 Corolla spark plug

I used this ARES 70231 | 3/8 Inch Drive by 9/16 to change the four spark plugs on my 2010 Corolla. Worked perfect. I did use a short extension with this tool for the perfect combination. The magnet held the spark plug in place. Magnetic feature makes spark plug removal easy.

using this tool and the correct method,I removed and replaced the original plugs at 147,000 in my 2005 f150 5.4 engine without breaking any.the tool worked great. that and many prayers between remove and replace of each plug.thank you Amazon and Ares for such a great tool.

worked perfect on my 09 f150

This tool worked flawlessly! I was able to replace my plugs , taking my time, in about an hour and a half > Going slow and blowing compressed air in every holes to remove any dirt or debris ( there was quite a few little rocks in the crevices) Definitely recommend this tool for an easier process.
