I have to admit that these batteries add an impressive amount power to my 20v lineup. I've only used these on my 20v weed wacker so far and I get about an hour use on high. Battery pack didn't even get warm. Usually I'll get around 30min with the 5.0ah. I think it lasted around double the time because the load is spread out with 15 internal 18650 batteries in the 20v/60v vs 10 18650 batteries in the 20v 5.0ah pack. Didn't really notice the weight using the weed wacker, but they are definitely heavier. You really notice it when you have one of each in your hands. They are also bigger in size. Wider, so you can't use the belt clip if you put these in a drill or driver, but I think these are overkill for those tools. The 5.0ah is more than enough for those. These will be specifically used in my 20v brushless weed wacker, my 20v brushless reciprocating saw, and my 20v grinder. These are also tall, it's pretty close to stacking 3 2.0ah batteries on top of each other. Overall I love them. You don't notice the weight in the bigger tools and it seems like the charge lasts forever.

These things work great with my 20/60v tools. The charge lasts just about forever with the 20v tools and they charge up pretty fast with the 20v quick charger. Of course they're pretty heavy, but that's a small price to pay for that much work time. If I'm doing something awkward where the weight matters I can always swap in a smaller battery. They're pretty pricey, but I'm not going to ding them for that. They were worth it to me.

SOOOOO much power in such a small battery. The price is expected since the batteries are still new on the market. They are awesome. A little heavier than the 6AH batteries but they run and run and run.

These things are beasts! I've been using the 5 and 6 ah batteries for a year or so, but these 9ah batteries are seriously impressive. Recently used one of these on my DeWalt 20v Impact hammer with a 3 1/4" concrete core to drill through 5" thick concrete with ease. After 15 minutes of hard use, it only discharged 1/3 of the battery. (Two of the three status LED's were still lit). That would usually almost drain one of my 5 ah batteries. Definitely worth the money. Also works great in my 60v Flexvolt DeWalt chainsaw. Very powerful!

Bought these to use with my 20 v blower and trimmer, and sometimes my 18 v tools. For those wanting to know about the 18v adapter, the 18v adapter has two stubs (or whatever you want to call them) that prevent the battery from being fully inserted into the adapter. I used a hacksaw to cut off those two stubs and then filed down any sharp areas. Voila, the battery fits perfectly and runs my 18v tools. Not sure if it voids any warranties but I think I'll be alright. Great battery, long life, loving it.

Wow, talk about power to spare. These might be heavy but for things like the grinder or especially the power station they have the capacity you need to supply the power to work! And about the power station, it lets me turn my normal table and chop saw into a battery powered portable. Way cool (and it is silent 8^).

Great powerful Batteries.Compatable with existing Dewalt 20 volt tools.Powers my Dewalt Flexvolt Table Saw and Circular Saw as well as my Dewalt 20 volt multitool .Long lasting batteries and charge fast on Dewalt fast charger.Power to give and plenty to spare.Battery gauge a plus to let you know battery life left before recharging.Larger battery but no discomfort of making your tool too heavy.Only cons I would have is price but if you want quality and performance it’s like comparing a luxury car to a compact car.

I can go all day long on using one of these in the saw and nailer. It's incredible how good these are. I'm surprised at the negatives on the weight. I don't find it to be a problem at all. They balance the nailer and saw out well. I'm not sure I would use them on the impact tool. Use the ones that work best for you.

These batteries are MASSIVE. It's almost impossible to find these 9Ah batteries locally - you need to order them online. I'm guessing it's because they're too expensive, and for most guys the 6Ah FlexVolt battery is just fine. I got lucky and found a 2-pack on Amazon for $199. When they arrived I was in shock at how huge they were since I was expecting them to be the same size as the 6Ah but they're not. If you're planning to use these batteries for one of your DeWalt tools that's gonna be using lots of power - such as your hammer drill to install 100+ concrete anchors, this battery make sense. But if you're planning to hang this thing on your DeWalt impact driver, be aware that it's going to be heavier and bulkier. I just like the shock value when other contractors look at it as say "DAMN that's a big battery".

Ordered 4 to put on the Dewalt Portable Power Station to operate laptops & 2 printers for mobile sign business and get 8 plus hours of use. Very satisfied with quality and the way they perform.
