Just what I expected

I ordered these "spy" pens for my son's 1st grade class for Halloween. I researched others. But, other's poor reviews with batteries dead, light did not work, or ink dried out; I chose this product. I always read reviews. ⭐💬 I pulled out the plastic tabs for all #24 ordered. I checked each one for ink & UV light. They ALL worked.!.!.! I tried to open battery compartment for child Safety, none openned. I also priced them per pen, and they were the cheapest for the best quality, so far. I have not given them to classmates, yet. Very happy with purchase after much research & effort. 😀👍👍👍👍👍

These pens write in multicolored invisible ink that only shows up when you flash the light (on the cap) on the writing. I gave them to one son who is reluctant to write/journal to make it more exciting. Its not a journal- its a top secret log! I gave a set to my other son who has a hard time reading long chapter books and highlighting the main idea. He loves the pens so much he turns off the lights, reads by flashlight and highlights with the spy pen. As a child psychologist, I use these pens at work to help ADHD kids do reading/writing assignments. It makes the activity more exciting & stimulating so it holds their attention and gets them over that motivation barrier to start homework. These pens are supercool and I wish I had them when I was a kid. They also make great party favors/rewards.

So good I bought them twice!

Is there a child in the world who doesn’t like the idea of sending secret messages in invisible ink? If there is, I haven’t met one yet. These pens will be a hit with any child who can write and who enjoys making up their own games. It’s the simplest thing but it really is fun. These would be a treat for kids who like secret spy games, crime-solving or super-hero games, for those who like passing secret notes or leaving clues that only certain people can see. Write notes with these pens and the words disappear almost immediately. But there is a special UV light at the other end of these pens. Anyone who has one of these can shine that light on the page where the invisible message was written and – voilà! – the message appears! I think these would make brilliant party favors or Valentines Day gifts. I’ll bet teachers could find lots of ways to use them in the classroom and they’d also make terrific end-of-the-school-year gifts to encourage kids to practice handwriting and spelling over the summer.

Self Contained System For Writing and Reading Secret Messages

I bought a set of these markers for ten bucks in October 2017 and you just cannot beat the value. With 12 in the bag, you can easily host a kid's birthday party, treasure hunt, or classroom activity complete with invisible ink clues! I like the design with the built-in LED on every pen. This makes every individual marker a complete system for creating and reading invisible messages. Everything you need is built right into the pen - just drop one pen into the gift bags at the end of the party and every kid will go home happy. I took a few photos to show what you get. Basically you get a bag of 12 UV markers. There are 6 different pen colors. The pen colors have no relationship with the color of the ink that is written. All pens write with the same greenish blue color that shows up under UV light. Under normal light, the paper will appear blank. This is a pretty cool item for the money. Highly recommended.

BUY THESE PENS! Such a delight to anyone young or young-at-heart!!!

Love love love these pens.... First my 7 year-old ran in pure girly delight to get this package that was “hand delivered” in less than 24 hours. (The delivery man was ear to ear grins, too.) Second, we were headed out, but she immediately opened the package and divvied out the brilliant colors based on favorites. And we wrote sweet messages on each other’s hands, arms and faces.... that were 100% invisible... and only visible with the powerful light on the cap. Third, awesome value... these pens are great as party favors, in an Easter basket or as a fun add to gifts for anyone young or young-at-heart. Fourth, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Notes: The shells of pens are different colors, but of course the invisible inks all show the same. The caps have a great snap which lets you know it’s secure; I do wish the same was true when the pen is open and the cap is on the other end. We just got them, good so far on durability. What fun!

Although we got these pens as a treat for grandkids, we did check one out to see if it "worked". The kids will love them! Write on anything (including skin) and it doesn't look like anything happened. Shine the light attached to the pen on what you wrote - magic - you can see it. Perfect for a stocking stuffer, or a treat bag at a birthday party - or to hand out for Halloween even.

Kids love them

This product arrived in perfect condition. I was impressed that they each had a pull tab to save battery life. Use them to write just about anywhere and you cannot see the writing except with the attached light, (or a UV light). If kids write or draw on their skin (grandkids did), it lasts a full day or two and writing can't be seen without the light. I have written crucial information on the wall beside a light switch etc...can't see it without light but it looks like its there indefinitely unless its washed off. My friend uses it to write things in her journal that are so personal she doesn't want someone else to see, it is permanent but unseen on paper. Only downside I've found is that I wrote on a fairly shiny surface and I could see the letters from an angle in the right light. Have another friend who is using them to write verses on walls above kids beds. Endless uses including name on electronic devices for identification.

These pens were perfect for my detective theme! I gave these pens to my kids at our open house and they were a hit! I wrote their names in the invisible ink then showed them how to shine the light to reveal their names. They were AMAZED! Thank you!

Fantastic pens!

My kids love these pens, they work really well. My kids drew on themselves and no one got a rash. They drew on the walls and there is only one spot where the writing is visible, it must have something to do with the way the sunlight falls in that part of the room. I cleaned it off easily with a wet, soapy cloth, no problem. I will definitely buy these again.

A bargain of mystery

My kids spotted a similar product at a similar price point recently. Only problem was that there were only two pens. So enter these SyPen's. They have been a big hit to my science loving kids who have very active imaginations. They love creating and being able to send secret notes via these pens. The youngest immediately took one outside to look for scorpions since it is a UV light. So really my only concern is kids shining these lights into eyes but that is a parenting issue.
