I sew and was looking for a second magnetized pin holder - one at ironing board, one on sewing table. Thought I'd try this and it is pretty cool! As I pull pins from a garment I am sewing I tend to toss pins in the general direction of my pin holder. The magnet in this one grabs them more readily and I have many fewer pins laying all over the place. Also, any pins on the floor can be easily picked up by simply inverting the dish and running it 8-10" over the area.

I build computers as a hobby. I'm always loosing small screws as the y roll off somewhere and have to pick them up or find them. This is small enough to sit inside my case and not be in the way. One of the best things is the magnet is so much more powerful than I expected. When not in use for a few moments I just stick it on the outside of the case. I love this product and am going to order another for myself and my son. I highly recommend this for any project anyone may have. 6 star product!!!

Originally bought it for all the random jobs i do but when my girlfriend saw me open it up she asked what its for. I stuck it to the fridge and told her its a magnetic dog bowl, i told her now we can smear peanut butter on it and the dogs can lick the bowl in the horizontal position which is better for their necks. Well its been about 3 months and its still on the fridge, to my knowledge it hasn't been used but i keep waiting and hoping to catch my girlfriend smearing peanut butter on it for the dogs.

Sometimes, you wonder how you got along without having a certain tool. This magnetic tray holder is one of them. When taking something apart, you almost always end up hunting for some small part that mysteriously disappeared. Some parts tend to vanish into the ether, never to be seen again! That shouldn't ever happen again if using the parts holder. The magnet is strong and sometimes a part refuses to let go when you go to grab it! But, that's a very good thing. I ordered three of them. I have one in each of the various places I'm likely to need it. You know how things vanish when you need it the most? That shouldn't happen now.

These trays are a nice smooth finish. Good heavy weight. Rubber non-slip bottom. The 4" is the perfect size for my quilting. I can toss the long quilt pins into the tray on the fly as i sew and dont have to aim, just get them in the general diraction. Beats a pin cushion. Bought two, one for by my machine and one by the ironing board. I would purchase again.

This product is exactly what I was looking for. The magnet is strong enough to keep the bowl exactly where I want it, and it holds my clips in the bowl several layers deep. I could put it sideways on the machine and the clips stay in the bowl, or even just attach to the outside if I toss them at it. Exactly what I needed to keep my clips wrangled.

Holding my screws and nuts while I repair my truck , its great no more searching and hunting for that screw or nut that fell off into the grass or sand that now you can't find if your life depended on it. You mechanic like I do this is a must have.

I have several of magnet trays, including some where the magnets are on the outside of the inner bowl. I like these a lot better, with the magnets at the bottom. Can never have enough of these, as I usually have several projects going at once. It is such a relief to know that the nuts, washers, bolts, and other small pieces connected to a project are all in one place, and when moved they all get moved together and don't get lost. These are the right size for most of my needs. Good quality magnets. I will likely get more. Misplacing those small pieces is no longer a worry.

I build/tinker with computers as a hobby and I finally bought one of these magnetic dishes. I wish I had sooner - it keeps all those tiny screws in one place. The advantage of using this over a non-magnetic dish or container is that you can use the magnetism to separate groups of screws within the dish. You can also tap a screwdriver head against the dish to give your screwdriver some temporary magnetism. The magnet is strong enough that you can turn the dish upside down and the screws won't move or fall out. This 4-inch diameter dish is perfect for PC builders. The bigger 6+ inch dishes would have been too large, I think.

OK, If one of these is good, four are fantastic, right? Yes, in my case. When I sew, I have my sewing machine in one room, the ironing board in another, and the table where I lay out and pin the fabric in another. No, they can't all be in the same room. So I really need one of these magnetic trays in each room. While they have multiple useful functions--to hold screws or nails or nuts and bolts--I use mine for my fine, glass-head dressmaker pins, and I'm happy as a clam while I'm sewing!
