Price quality and ease of function and install

Installed these for elderly neighbor so traveling nurse, Familly and trusted neighbors could get in her house for safety reasons! They work very smoothly and were easy to change access code to something of the owners choice! Now she can leave her doors locked! In past she left her doors open so authorized people could enter without her having to go to door. Being in a wheel chair made getting around her house and to the door time consuming and inconvenient. Backlighting on number pad makes these more user friendly! Chrome finish looked good and made for a visually pleasing install. Familly members were so surprised at the price. They were able to get these for both entry doors for less than half of what a local store wanted for just one! Also the more expensive lock sets had a remote keypad that would have been more difficult to install and everyone liked the look of the self contained unit! This also allows return to standard knob. These have been in for over a month and everyone is happy!

Great locking door knob.

I use this on my bedroom door to keep my children out. It works great. Punch in a 4 digit code and it opens. You can select the code and reset it whenever you want, and it also has a battery pack to plug in if the batteries run out so you don't get locked out. I have had it for a few months and have still not had to use it. I bought this because it didn't have the oversized backplate or anything that would have to be added to my door. Very easy installation and setup. Will definitely buy again if I ever need another.

Perfect for Renters!

The YL-99 is super helpful in helping me provide security to my tenants. Once a certain tenant leaves, all I have to do is change the master code. This helps me save a ton of fees in terms of hiring a locksmith to come in and rekey everything. Weather stainless steel is also helpful in making these locks super long lasting and durable. Overall, these locks provide everything you would want in a smart lock. Simple. Durable. Easy.

fairly cheap, easy to install, works exactly as described

great and quick solution if you need a digital door lock handle. i've had mine for about a month now and no issues. i've used schlage and kwikset digital deadbolts but i wanted a digital lock for bed rooms. this fit the bill. i can't tell you how long the battery would last but they give you a back up battery case you can plug into the unit to power on. a couple of things this unit can improve on. the door handle is a perfectly round and smooth. it makes it hard to open if you were elderly, had arthritis, oily hands, or lotioned hands. they need to make a more ergonomically door knob. maybe oval shape with some grooves for grip. lastly even when changing the master key code from the default it must start with a zero. its not a huge deal but some people might no like that you have to start with a zero. so lets say if you want your new master key code to be 1984. you would have to set it as 01984 because it requires the master key code to start with a zero. overall very happy with the purchase. there's a lot of different brands of this type of lock. i just looked at the reviews and tried this one. glad i did. luckily i didn't have any issues installing, setting up key codes, etc. works fine for me!

Great deal, look and performance! Don't buy smart locks as they are buggy and unreliable! Buy something simple and practical !

This thing looks gorgeous! I wanted something simple without the Wi-Fi smart gimmicks as they make nonsense for a lock that you need to access to get to your home. I also have a Brinks Digital Deadbolt but this one looks and perform better as it gives you button feedback when you press then (a little click sound and feel) that lets you know that you have pressed it. The installation takes literally 5 minutes as it is Plug and Play and there is no need to modify or drill if you have an existing lock. The backlit blue illumination is awesome and the ability to turn off the sound gives you an extended battery life. I bought 3 more and will put them everywhere. No key access may be seen as a drawback but the battery backup can come in handy if you forget to replace the batteries. Great job Turlbolock! I've seen the low review but they appear to be for the Bluetooth version. Common guys, why would anyone need to have such a complicating or complex functionality in a door lock? Simple is always better!

Great access control lock

Very Good product. Not sure I'd fully trust it as an outdoor lock, but it's fine to control access to an interior office or room like my mfg lab. This product is fairly solidly built - it's not for securing Fort Knox, but it does exactly what you expect, and is a good value. For me, NOT having wireless/bluetooth control is a big security plus. One tip: Set up all your user codes and turn off the beeps (they're annoying, and apparently reduce battery life) *before* resetting the master code, especially if you want to use a longer master code. Installation is quick and easy - took less than 10 minutes, and most of that was figuring out how to remove the previous doorknob, which was an odd design. I'd buy this again.

It is so easy to use and install

I love love love my Turbolock. One of my biggest apprehensions when getting this Turbolock was how difficult it would be to install. When I got it though, I was super surprised to find that it came with an easy to read instruction manual and guide on how to install it. You pretty much just need a screwdriver. Installed in 20 minutes, and I sleep more soundly at night because of it.

Best doorknob iv tried

This product deserves more the 5 stars with its build and high quality design and ease of installation I would definitely recommend this lock to anyone you can add codes and have multiple users would be great if u don't like to carry keys or have house renters or roommates instead of having to change the key u just delete a code it's that simple also security is the number one thing and this has it not being pickable because there's truly no key hole I started studying lock smithing and the way you can pick a lock and be in in mins is quite shocking so definitely get this lock you won't be disappointed not to mention it's very well priced

Beeping is LOUD...but works great

Love it..lots of pros.. just one con.. wish could control volume on the beeping when unlocking..i can hear the high pitch tone echo off my neighbors houses when im unlocking front door..it really is thst loud..half that volume would be great
