We bought this to use to weigh farm animals. Works great for the tiny newborns but also on monster sized animals. We just use a bucket or sling to weigh what we need.

Good product

If you want pinpoint precise 0.01 measurements not for you if you are weighing pounds or heavyr stuff perfext i mean u can weight from 0.1lbs to 500kg I used it to weight the difference in block weight headers and heads very well worth it.

USPS FAIL... Amazon Came through, Great Product

Product was great... The mail carrier was a JackA** and put it in the mailbox.... on SUNDAY. WTF? Who checks their mailbox on Sunday?!?! So I missed it for my job on Monday. USPS fail. Other than that, I’m a certified operator, Qualified Rigger and this is spot on with the weights I have load tested it with (50-550 lbs at increments of 25 lbs ). Again, below 30 lbs, gets a little fluctuation +-2 lbs. But I ordered it for the 100-500 lbs range for my job. I gave a 4 on durability because at 475 lbs, it started to show some pretty good flex. Recommend getting an American Crosby Shackle to fit the holes.

WORKS WELL

I used this to weigh copper coils before selling to the scrap yard. very pleased with the results. the display is liquid quartz so do not leave in direct sunlight for long periods of time or the screen will ghost. it will clear back after it cools down, typical LQ.

This unit is so good, that I bought another. We use it to weigh 36 lb Freon drums, its extremely accurate and I know it can more than handle what we use it for.

Good quality. Could use a max load feature

I like it! I do wish this scale had a handle I could hold it by, and I wish it would save the max weight so I could lift a load and set it down, then read and clear the weight. It doesnt have any of those things, so I have had to figure out how to hang the scale. Now that I have though it works well.

Handy to have

This has come in handy several times and not that expensive. Only goes up to 600 pounds but if you need more capacity then buy a bigger one. Very light weight but strong and easy to use. Used it to determine tongue weight of a trailer and to weigh my sidecar for my motorcycle among other things.

ROCKS!

I use this in the barn with a sling on a block and tackle to weigh sheep... it ROCKS. Big LCD to read. The HOLD feature is priceless with jumpy sheep.

will do the job

Right out the box the AAA batteries did not fit the battery housing, had to fudge the fitting by packing the batteries to align with the terminals. I don't know why anyone would do this. It should be a no-brainer! Other than that potential starting block disaster the device seems to work.
