Best gift I have ever bought for myself

This is the same review as for the wee library. Well, since y'all asked, I am pretty sure this wee room kit is going to be fun. Decades ago, long before I became this old babe, one of my favorite things to do was creating miniature furniture, household accessories, food, and all things tiny. So, whilst holiday shopping this kit popped up and I was, well, kind of excited at the possibility of making some of this stuff without having to begin from sratch. This kit is well designed and ever so pretty, looking at the printed materials. I do plan to stray from the instructions and provided materials, but I think that even someone brand new to the world of miatures would eventually do the same as they work their way through the building process. I am feeling joy at the prospect of starting to play with this kit and the other one I bought. Best self-present ever!!!!! Library Greenhouse

Mom and 10-yr old Daughter Approved

This was my first time building a miniature. My 10 year old loves craft projects and these rooms looked cute. They also looked complicated and time consuming. I wasn't sure if this was a good idea but decided to give it a try anyway. I purchased both the greenhouse and the art studio. My daughter and I spent one to two hours a day over a couple of weeks working on these together. I built the greenhouse while she built the art studio. We had a blast! They were incredibly fun and actually easy to build. The instructions were superb. My daughter built the entire art studio by herself with exception of the light fixture. Because of the wiring, I had to help with that part. My husband looked at the finished rooms and was very impressed. He thought they looked great. I have since purchased the other two rooms (library and sewing room). We haven't had a chance to start on these yet but are looking forward to it. I highly recommend the Robotime miniatures.

Better than most DIY miniature room kits

I have purchased two Robotime DIY Wooden Dollhouse Kits. There was a problem with my first order, and the company's representative was extremely nice and helpful; he gave terrific customer service. The kit itself is fabulous. I've purchased a lot of kits from CuteRoom and Rylai, but the Robotime kits are much, much nicer. They're made of sturdier, higher quality wood and are cut to size accurately, something that is a problem with other companies' kits. The instructions are in English with good pictures to aid in the construction. Everything in the kit is clearly marked and labeled so that assembly is as enjoyable as possible. I'm having a great time with this kit. I highly recommend Robotime kits for people who like to make miniature rooms. The kits go beyond the usual to attain much higher quality.

I LOVE these kits

I'm obsessed with this company. clear instructions, quality pieces and so much detail! These are such a blast to make, I'm always a big sad when I complete one, because making them is so damn fun

Looks good upon arrival

This will be my first kit so I’m super excited to try it out. All I’ve done is open the box and sorted through some of the materials and perused the directions. So far, so good. It all looks legit meaning it doesn’t appear to be low quality knock-off manufacturer. The directions have colored illustrations. I directed a question towards the community and learned that everything you need is already in the kit, but some people prefer to purchase additional glue and tweezers. I think I will take them up on that tip because the glue container does look kind of small and I’ve never done this before , so I might be messy or wasteful at first. At least until I get the hang of it and know how much glue I’m supposed to use. The packaging itself is ready to be given as a gift so I’d recommend this as birthday present for a wide age range. It might be overwhelming for tiny kids to do on their own because there are a lot of tiny delicate pieces and many many many steps. However , they might find enjoyment watching an adult do it and they can hand you tools and materials like an assistant. Teens and adults will really like it because it is a challenge with an adorable pay off. I’m not sure how long if it will take but I’m excited. Doesn’t look like something I could do in a day, but that’s okay because I’ll work on it little by little.

I loved this kit!

I absolutely loved assembling this kit! Instructions and materials supplied are good. I will buy another one as I enjoyed assembling it so much I was kind of sad when I was done. It is a wonderful finished product. I really enjoyed changing up with you things and making it my own.

Lovely! This kit is really enjoyable to build!!

This took me a while to finish it because there were lot to make. But it was really enjoyable. The instruction was well described and it also came with tweezer, silicone glue and white glue which was a huge plus to the kit. Also, I was able to find out which battery it was required for the lighting. The instruction did not indicate what type of battery it was required, but I was able to really look into the instruction photo and saw the battery on the instruction photo was CR2032 3V. I couldn't find this information on anywhere, so I thought it would be helpful for other buyers. This kit is by far the most detailed kit I have every made! Highly recommend for anyone who likes creativity. FYI: The lighting requires 2 pcs CR 2032 3V Batteries.

very nice tool kit and the mini house turn out great

Even if you can do it it'll become tedious real fast

Very monotonous to put together. It's not something you should expect to do in one sitting (no matter how many of you there are). Even if you can do it it'll become tedious real fast. It's best if you enjoy this sort of craft, and want to have something to do every once in awhile that slowly builds into something beautiful. I do 2~3 hours every few days when I feel like watching TV while doing something with my hands. I've attached photos of the finished product. It deviates somewhat from the "official" picture because I glued something backwards. Also haven't had a chance to put the light on. But again you're encouraged to decorate your own bookstore however you want. Overall, reasonably high quality. Nothing broke on me (except my dog chewed up the ladder a little bit). Love it.

Incredible model for any book lover

This model has been such an enjoyable build. As of now, I am not completely finished, having put around 20 hrs into it, I'd say I have another 8 hrs more to go. The pieces are all vibrantly pre-painted, with the exception of one large base piece. The glue and tweezers it comes with are perfect for the job. The cloth I had gotten for the couch was not large enough, but I improvised bu using another color cloth (that also came with the kit) for the seat. The attention to detail in this little study is just 1st class. I even recognized books that I have read/purchased in the past within this model! I am not experienced at all with building wooden kits and I was still able to do this one perfectly with minimal struggle. I will certainly be buying more Robotime models in the near future, the greenhouse one is next :)!
