  • SAFE FOR CLEAR COATS: Safe and on all glossy paints, including clear coats
  • FLEXIBLE APPLICATION: Safe and effective by hand or dual action polisher like Meguiar's MT300 Dual Action Polisher

I just finished using the compound along with this polisher and the ultimate wax and they all do a great job but just a little bit of information for those like me who do not read instructions first. Apply this polisher to small areas and immediately wipe off. Do not do like I did and apply it to the entire vehicle thinking you should let it dry first because, as the instructions say on the bottle, you do not want to let the stuff dry on the car. It takes a lot of elbow grease to remove it.

My car is a 2005 CTS and the years started to take a toll on the shine. So a few weeks ago I washed with Meguiar's Gold Class Wash, then used the meguiars clay bar and ultimate wax. The car looked much better but still not as good as I wanted. I usually skip the polish step of the process but today I spent 3 hours doing it right. Wash, Clay Bar, Polish, then wax. The polish made a big difference. It's not a miracle worker so it could not remove several large scratches but it does a great job eliminating the small scratches and swirl marks that form in the paint over the years. The car look like new and I've owned it for almost 8 years now. Highly recommend.

"Someone" got a little too close to the garage opening and brushed some house paint onto the wheel well. No experience with car buffing/waxing but this did the trick to remove the paint. I bought a buffing pad attachment (baiFM 3" pad) for my drill which I used to apply this stuff with. Took some time to come off but looks like new now.

Very good stuff. The other day I spent about 8 hours on the girl. Wash, Clay, Polish, Wax. What a difference the Polish made! Paint looks uniform and smooth as butter. One thing I want to point out is do not allow this stuff to dry!! As many others have already said, it becomes a real pain to get off. The 'perfect' temperature is kind of required to use this stuff with ease. Unfortunately I live in the city with no garage, so I did all of this outside on a cool windy day. If possible, polish on a dry warm day inside of a garage. Work in smallish sections, make about 5-6 passes over the same spot rubbing a little harder than you would with a wax. Then immediately buff it off with a clean microfiber. And don't get stingy with the microfibers, use as many as needed. Good luck everyone! Check out mah babeh!

Good Product, hard to get off if you don't remove it immediately. Do not let it sit for more than two minutes or you will have to reapply over the same area. This means you are working very small areas at at time, no more than a 12" X 12" application. Areas I missed removal, down low on quarter panels nd doors, still can't get it off.Would need to put the car up,on a lift to work it off those low areas (or lay on the ground). Seriously hard to get off if it dries even a little. Nice shine, but there has to be a better way! Tried the Meguiars G17516 Ultimate Quik Wax, this goes much faster.Yeah, I know what you're thinking...duh, wax and polish are two different things. I get that, but I can't kill my back with this stuff! Too much work. Maybe if I was 20, 30 or even 40 years old., my back could take the punishment. It took almost three hours to apply over a Chrysler 300.

I neglected my 2000 Ford Ranger(white) for over 5 years of sitting outside in the Florida sun and rain. The truck was green with mold which had to be scrubbed off with a brush. There was no shine to the finish and water immediately wet the entire surface without a single bead. I purchased the Meguiar’s Ultimate Compound, Ultimate Polish and Ultimate Wax after watching a Youtube video on the differences between the Mequiar’s Ultimate Compound and the old school TW brand. The results are simply amazing. I followed the instructions to the letter, using a HF DA, doing 2 sq. feet at a time. The finish immediately improved with the Ultimate compound (3-4 overlapping passes). The surface was smooth and shiny but not veryglassy until I used the Ultimate polish (3-4 overlapping passes). You can actually feel the difference in the surface after apply the Ultimate polish and the color is richer and deeper. You need to immediately wipe the polish off, do not let it dry on the surface, it will be difficult to remove. Wetting it down with a water mist will help should you not remove it before it dries. The Ultimate wax is unique and does not really leave any “white haze” and you start to wonder if you applied any wax or not to that area, but the water bead is as good as any other wax. This lack of white haze is nice because it does not make your rubber trim white as with other traditional waxes. 20oz of Ultimate compound and polish covered my Ranger and Volvo. The wax came 16oz and I needed a few more oz’s to finish the 2nd car. Overall, the Mequiar’s three step system is a little higher in cost but worth every penny.

really you need a machine to really get the best results. If your paint is really swirled up and scratched up you need to use compound first. I used a random orbital 6 inch polisher, a polishing foam pad and the polish. If it is hot, and this should be done in the shade, you need a spray bottle of water to mist it a couple of times to keep it damp. used a medium speed and the paint ended up like a mirror. Best results I have ever got. Used on a black car, a sliver car and a white car. Same great results. you need to watch some of the videos online and learn how to use the polisher, but what great results! You are supposed to polish until you see color start to flash from the paint, will be a haze that comes off very easy with a clean microfiber towel. If you are having a hard time getting this off, you are using to much and letting it dry out to fast!

I had some major water spots in the finish of my car and I used this product along with Meguiar's compound to solve the problem. I masked off the rubber and plastic parts and polished the paint by hand, using a microfibre towel. The results were quick, obvious and I was satisfied. I've used compounds and polishes before but was totally surprised at the speed and ease of Meguiar's products.

Used this stuff on two of my early 00s toyotas. They did not use clear on the white paint and it gets hazy and dull over the years. This stuff with the DA applicator will make have a mirror shine and you can buff out light scratches. Takes out swirl marks as well. This stuff is safe and easy to use, not aggressive but will give you a good shine. My 2 white SUVS now have a shine to them and not a dull haze. Use a quality wax aftwr since the paint is bare with no protection to keep the paint protected and shining.

This Meguiar's Polish works great. I have used it on 3 cars now and the results are awesome. It goes on easy and polishes nicely. I was able to remove light scratches and swirls from my 3 black cars. Black is the hardest to polish due to the nature of the color but this polish does a nice job! Pair this with a good DA buffer and you are all set. Make sure to clay bar and compound before using the polisher for best results.
