Like it a lot so far, but wasn’t protected.

One of the reasons I got this was for my cat. She is blind in one eye and I works nights, so I would have to leave the living room light on to help her see when I’m away. The candles came in their original packaging with the shipping label stickers to it. That makes me uncomfortable for two reasons. 1. It’s been raining heavily in my area the past month and there was no protection for the contents inside. I provided a picture. 2. Most people in my neighbor mind there own business, and it’s just candles, but I don’t like strangers being wise to what I buy. The candles took 18 AA batteries in total. I suggested investing in rechargeable batters before hand. The remote is tiny so keep in a safe place. When using the remote it has about a 5 ft range, so when you turn off candles from afar, some will stay on. Just point in the direction the still lit ones are and press off again. Same with turning them on. No biggie. I will be testing out the timer functions later on, but the dimming and brightening features works nicely as well as the option to have the fake flames flicker. I’ll up date after a month or two.

Beautiful

I was glad to see they were thinner than some other flameless candles. The amount of candles for the price is fantastic! The different sizes are great for group settings in different areas... I can't post any pictures yet because my boyfriend is giving them to me for Christmas so I'm not allowed to play with them yet! CANT WAIT!!! Update!!!! The remote is fantastic and they look beautiful! So easy to use and install batteries. The hardest thing is deciding where to go use them!

They are awesome. Love the remote and timer feature. Use them every night and they go off automatically. Use them in my lanterns all around the house!

An LED candle that's practically chic, and very useful!

These are amazing! The real wax surrounding the bulb makes them look and feel pretty authentic - much classier than the plastic stuff I was seeing at the store. The remote works beautifully, and it's nice that you can choose flicker or steady light. We're using these for our "pretend power outage" nights when we turn off all the lights and devices and play games as a family. The kids love the activity, but trying to light a board game with real candles (and with long-haired children playing) made me nervous. These are the perfect answer - plenty of atmosphere, without the fire hazard. I think I'll order another set to use in the windows during the winter holidays too! Again, these are much nicer quality than any other electric candles I've seen, and the remote makes managing the lighting super easy.

Happy I found these candles

I attended an event at a popular home-decor store and they featured candles they sell similar to these. It was suggested to purchase dollar store batteries that are low drain and they should last about a year. I loved the idea but disliked the price. So I searched Amazon and found these gems. They are made of real wax, take 2 AA batteries each and have a multi-timer setting just like the overpriced ones at the other retailer. I will confess I did not read the exact measurements of each candle. So I am a bit disappointed at how thin they all are, I expected a larger width. That said, it is probably a good thing they are skinny because 3 of them fit perfectly in the lantern I purchased. I love that I set the 2-hour timer and the next night they came on at the same time. My room was aglow with candlelight, minus the stinky smell from blowing out the real things. Very happy with these candles. They arrived well packaged, undamaged and all of them work as expected.

Highly recommend!

I’ve had these lanterns for years and never the right size or number of candles for them. I stumbled across these candles and thought the quantity and height range seemed perfect. It’s hard to find LED candles over 6”. They are exactly what I was looking for. Great price for the quality and quantity. I love, love these candles! The remote with variable timer settings is so convenient. The candles produce such a pretty glow. I think they’re just perfect.

Incredible!

Beautiful candles, loved them so much I bought a second set and use both sets in the fireplace for ambiance. (This is Florida - so fires are not needed....). The wax exterior is authentic and the "flicker" of the wick is interesting. The remote control makes it easy to use the candles anytime. Had an issue with a remote and seller was extremely helpful and it was resolved right away. Would definitely buy again.

These look real.

These are orders of magnitude above the cheap plastic LED candles I was using previously. I didn't know if getting ones made of real wax would be worth it, but now that they're here, there's no question. They feel like real candles to the touch, the "flickering" mode is subtle and believable, and because you can't see the fake flame, these actually look real and not tacky, as I'd feared. You can turn off the flickering mode easily if you just want regular light. Loading the AA batteries was easy, and to preserve battery life, I'll be turning them on and off manually, just in case. (I mean, with real candles you'd have to blow out each one, so who cares?) I'm already considering a second set. My flame-free apartment feels so cozy and luxurious with these! They're going to be fantastic for the holidays and the dark winter months.

Work great as long as you don't block the base so the signal can't get through.

These were exactly what I was looking for. Initially, I thought maybe the circuits were messed up since some candles weren't responding to the remote. But I quickly realized it was user error. The candles that were nestled in garland and string lights weren't receiving the signal because it was blocked. If I aimed the remote towards the base from above instead of seated in my comfy chair, then they worked with no problems.

Pretty, Fun, and Creative!

The product description pretty much tells you anything I could. The candles are very easy to arrange however you want. The batteries (not included) seem to last a long time if you don't have the lights on most of the day. They have a wax feel to them, although I wouldn't care as long as they LOOK like wax. I like the 24 hour, repeat timer... I set mine to light from 8 to 10 pm, every evening. My only minor "ding" is that the remote seems to have a somewhat limited range, so I have to get out of my comfy chair and walk a little closer to use it (horrors!). Give these a try ~ I think you'll like them.
