Awesome Hand Truck!!!

A hand truck is a useful tool to have around the house. If space is an issue, like it is for me, this one is perfect. If space is not an issue I would still recommend this hand truck. I love the amount of weight that this unit can support without needing bulky wheels that you have to inflate. This is a full-size dolly but reduces to almost half its extended height and about 1/8 of its depth when folded for storing. Very well-built with a rigid feel to it. Perfect for hiding in slim spaces when not in use.

I love this cart. Easy to unfold and lightweight. Large base plate to stack packages and a long bungee cord to secure them. This cart rolls extra smooth with large enough wheels to climb stairs. By far the best cart in this price range. I've spent much more on what turned out to be cheaply made carts with plastic gears on the wheel fold-out mechanism. This is a strong cart that will last.

Well built and exactly what I wanted

I'm giving this hand truck a 5-star rating because it's exactly what I wanted and it will suit my needs perfectly; also because it is well-build and collapses into a configuration that both travels and stores well. The only "problem" I had with it at first (and not really a problem at all, it turns out) was that the mechanism that pops the wheels open and simultaneously drops the load plate down was veeeeery stiff at first, and the first time I opened it up I wasn't sure I was doing it right. (No instructions were included.) But after opening and closing the hand truck wheels and load plate 3 or 4 times it loosened up and became easy to use. I'm very happy with this cart. All thumbs-up as far as I'm concerned.

Awesome for fitness professionals doing outreach!

PERFECT!! I'm a fitness instructor, and I have to haul around equipment like dumbells, drumsticks, choreography folders, books, mats, pinky balls, Therabands, you name it! The tote I'm using right now is getting VERY heavy, and I already have degenerative disk disease, so the last thing I need is to crank my back out of whack! I used it for the first time tonight. LIFESAVING!!!! It was so awesome to just load my heavy equipment onto my new folding dolly and walk from a distant parking space to the site of my class. The bungee cords are a great help, and the wheels are nice and big and smooth. I do worry about how much snow and slush they might track into buildings when the snow starts flying, but I can just toss a ratty towel into my tote if I need to. LOVE THIS! Best money spent in a long while!

Omg I LOVE IT!

Omg I LOVE IT!!! I am SO happy I took this chance! I am a single mom of 3 little ones with no car who lives on the 3rd floor of an apartment so you already know! Grocery shopping and doing laundry are excruciating task! So many trips up and down the steps and litterally 10 trips back and forth accross the street to finish my laundry! Something HAD to give! While dragging groceries up the stairs my old cart broke and I was handy cap for about a month. I lost sleep and sat up for days searching out carts but nothing was large, affordable, or strong enough to get up the stairs. My old cart I ended up turning into a make shift dolly that I tied my large laundry bag to with rope but the wheels would pop off several times in route unil they finally cracked and broke for good, but that gave me the dolly idea. I figured I'd trash the old cart but save the dolly like bag it came with and attach it to this one,...perfect fit! The bag doesn't slide through the bars as these bars are wider but the velcro section works just perfect as an alternative and reaches the plate perfectly for those walk to store trips around my neighborhood. For laundry, I stack both bags on and use the bungee to secure them into place and now it only takes me 2 trips to load the xxxtra xxxtra large 20$ machine and back! The plate is huge and the wheels are STURDY and solid! No assembly!!!!! and the wheels automatically pop out as you pull down the plate! The bars are not flimsy and wobbly at all! And for grocery shopping, I am purchasing LUZHOU'S Extra Large Over-sized portable waterproof storage bags (3 pack for 28$'s) to secure to my dolly and save the day getting all my groceries home and upstairs hassle free! I will update with photo's to tell you how it all fares out once I receive them for an update for you city girls. I have to improvise and turn this into a cart/dolly but this will definitely do the trick,..now for the bags and I'm good! I'm so happy and it was what I was hoping for and then some!

It doesn't make the chore fun..

It works very well for something that doesn't have bouncy air-filled wheels (which always rot out and go flat after a couple of years). I needed something with wheels large enough to pull up steps so I could haul 50 lb bags of dog food and cat litter into the house without having to actually carry them. The bungee cord provided holds the large sacks in place. It doesn't make the chore fun... but much, much easier. It folds up for storage and folding and opening is easy. I would definitely recommend it.

Great product!

I simply do not understand the negative reviews on this dolly. I've been using it on a daily basis for several weeks now, and have no complaints. It handles stairs well, whether carpeted or wood, rolls over door thresholds fairly easily, and certainly handles as much weight as I care to haul at one time--and no, that's usually not over 100#, so don't take that as testimony that it'll handle the 264#. I don't intend to ask it to. When it comes time to move the washer and dryer, I'll borrow an appliance dolly. I love the quick fold down that allows me to toss it in the car. And yes, it was stiff to unfold the first few uses, but that got easier after a few uses Basically, I find this a great mid-range option for moving lighter loads. The larger wheels make it more stable than the lightweight folding dollies I've tried in the past, and are the key to it's success on stairs. Highly recommend this.

Strong and durable. After much research on folding hand trucks this one finally made the cut. Strong and durable. 7" inch wheels are a plus. I'm 6'-1" tall and have no issues pulling this hand truck comfortably. Pushing forward is a bit awkward due to my height vs. handle height but still no issue for what it is. No issues in the snow. Hand Truck was loaded with about 80lbs of gear and cut the snow and slush with ease. Highly recommend if your looking for a strong, foldable hand truck.

As heavy duty, as it states.

Best birthday gift ever! I was inspired to choose this heavy-duty-version, because a friend keeps the lighter-duty-version in the back of her car. That one alone, is super handy...but when I saw there was something stronger, I hoped it would be a better choice. I have been pleasantly amazed since its arrival. :) It helps me haul my staging items (boxes and furniture), for my business. It also helps me move other items around, without needing to get help. On the other hand, it even helped my boyfriend and I transfer a huge wall unit/bookcase from the truck, up stairs, and into our house. (Because of my size, I couldn't lift my end. So, I used the cart to take the weight. Worked like a dream.) My cart is as important as my toolbox. :)

Strong and well made

I use this hand truck to transport my 68 pound (in the case) pedal steel guitar to practices and performances, including up and down stairs. I had one which appeared similar, but it quickly failed under this use. This truck is considerably better made although not much heavier, and handles this heavy, bulky load very well. I am well satisfied.
