Arrived in two days. Great. Bought these for removable counter top around laundry tub project. Probably take two months to get my lazy butt started on it.

After used 50 out from 100 t-nuts I ordered, I am very please with these high quality t-nuts. I also bought small quantity of other size t-nuts rom local hardware stores. However, some of those locally bought t-nuts material were too soft and not as good as the ones I got from this vendor.

Nice T-Nuts and a good price. These are heavy and when going into 3/4 pine ply they take a good amount of torque on the nut to seat them. I can draw them up tight or even recess them in the ply without stripping the threads. I drill the clearance hole at 7/16" and then tighten them down with the 3/8 bolt to sink the barbs. None have backed out of the ply after seating this way. I have also sucessfully hammered them in the hole and they work fine that way too but sometimes they don't stay perpendicular to the surface of the plywood and that can make for issues depending on your application.

These T-nuts are a high quality product. The 1/4-20 threads are tapped clean, and the dimension of every piece is consistent. I used it to make a threaded board for my shapeoko XL and it works perfectly. I've noticed that they gave me less than 100 pieces, and there were a few 3/16th pieces in the bag. I would recommend that you account for this in your design if you require anything close to 100.

I recently bought these to temporarily attach tools to a plywood-based workbench (basic mobile workbench from Steve Ramsey). I only needed to drill holes in the appropriate locations and hammer these nuts in from the underside; I used a 1/4-20 bolt and fender washer to pull the nuts deeper into the wood after starting with a hammer. Now that the nuts are in place, I can attach the tools and still have a usable work surface when they are removed. I don't think that there's an easier or cheaper way to accomplish this.

Fast delivery. As described. I already had male sex bolts, but not enough of the female ends. These bolts were longer than I needed, so with the original female end, I had to pre-cut to length, and then rework the threads. With these the bolt goes through, and then I can use a grinder to cut it in place, and not have to deal with fixing the threads! WORKS FOR ME!

I bought some of these in the 1/4 x 20 size to make a custom spoil board for my Shopbot desktop router. I really wanted some without the barbs on the back, but I figured at $10, I'd take a chance. They worked out exactly as I hoped they would. Since these were on the back of the spoil board to provide hold down locations from the top, I took a pair of pliers and easily broke the barbs off as the MDF I use would have never survived those barbs. I then drilled a 3/8 hole in a piece of mild steel and used it as an anvil to flatten the rim of the Tee Nut out. For those who are interested, I used a .800" x .075 counter bore on the back with a central hole through the spill board of .310" diameter. This required tapping them in with a mallet and I used a flat punch to make sure they were seated into the counterbore so they would not contact the machine bed. It's a little more work than buying the brad hole version, but they are insanely cheap. When this spoil board is used up, I intend to just use a 1/4 x 20 bolt to drive them out from the front and reuse them. A great product at a great price. BTW, none had tight or distorted threads, all were free running! My only complaint is I wish they made these with just a round rim for the same price so you didn't have to remove the barbs.

Great quality, threads are well fitted, plating is very good, I was surprised and happy that they have 4 prongs, others I have used in the past only had 3. When you have these things on you shelf, you will find a lot of uses for them. Very handy in a lot of different sizes. Shipping was fast and well packaged. I will definitely re-order when I run out.

Very handy. I have found that to make a rod really stable, since 1/4 inch isn't a stout gauge, it helps to put a 2nd one onto the back of the rod as well. In order to do this, I've been cutting the prongs off the back t-nut so I can just screw it on tight. Granted, a nut and washer would do this, but using a modified t-nut allows me to secure the back with a low profile fastener... even make it flat with the surface if I bore the back out slightly with a forsnter bit so that the second t-nut seats flush.
