Yes yes to organic chicken and yes to amazon fresh! Chicken was frozen when delivered secured with so much dry ice, my husband had enough dry ice to play with ENTIRE DAY! Lots of ice packages! Arrived on time, packed nicely. Meat was tender and tasty. Totally recommend.

BEST CHICKEN IN YEARS!

This fresh organic chicken was the BEST, I've had in years. It really was. I bought it when you had it on special, (5.00), what a bargain! First I cut the drumsticks and wings off, and fried them, then I cut up the rest of the bird, and made cutlets, which were so tender, when I fried them a few days later. I saved the rest, back and upper legs, and the liver, added some other parts I had frozen, and made chicken soup. Thank-you for introducing the Perdue Harvestland Organic chicken to me. Carol

Way better than expected

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and freshness of this chicken. This is my first time purchasing Perdue Harvestland. I will be a return customer. The chicken came out delicious and moist.

I will gladly buy again.

I'm used to air-chilled chickens. I was leery because these are not, but very little free water in the package. It was probably the cleanest dressed chicken I've ever bought. I usually have to do considerable trimming around the vent because of blemishes caused by overcrowding even though I buy "free-range"; this one was immaculate. (chickens have to spend only a small portion of their time out of cages to be labelled free-range.)

AMAZING SMELL OF RAW CHICKEN

It arrived with freezer packs, left in my fridge for 1.5 days. Opened up chicken package and sniffed. I smelled something like sweet corn. The smell of the raw chicken was so amazing. Cooked it in my Air Fryer, ate a piece, heavenly, Wow!

This is a big chicken. It has real meat on it. We always boil the bones to make broth. I was just tired of ordering these small chickens, which are only bones. This chicken provides a real meal.

Cooks like a dream

This thing cooks like a dream. I salt and pepperd it, sprinkled some sage on it, olive oil and then stuffed with veggies and cooked on 405 for about an hour. Chicken was nice and juciy and tasted great!

EXCELLENT!

This arrived fresh, but I froze it till I was ready to roast it. It came with a large bag of giblets, which I chopped and sauteed with onions, celery, and mushrooms and made cornbread stuffing with homemade cornbread..I baked the stuffed chicken in a clay pot roaster with NO butter or oil- just salt and some herbs de Provence for two hours at 400. The skin was dark and crispy, and the meat was falling off the bone and tender. Great flavor! When I served this, my son said, "Wow! Happy Thanksgiving!" So good! I will definitely buy again.
