These clips are easier to handle than pins. They don't mark the fabric. The only issue is that if you use thick fabrics the clips can become fragile and after some use, will break. Even so, I will continue to use them, happily.

I've been sewing most of my life and had not used these before. They are very useful for holding fabric together before sewing the seams. I still prefer to use pins for quilt piecing when points need to match, but for everything else I use these clips. Compared to box stores and or smaller shops, these are a much better buy too. The little tin the clips came in is so adorable! Highly recommend.

These are very useful for sewing, quilting projects. I bought these and the Clover Wonder Clips at the same time, as I'd never used either and wondered if there would be a noticeable difference in quality. Although these are less expensive, they work as well and there is little difference in quality that I can discern. If any difference is detectable, the hinge might be a little less stiff than the clover wonder clips. I love the adorable tin to store these in and the colors are super cute. This was a great purchase and I would highly recommend them to another potential purchaser. Bravo!

I Purchased two sets of these, one for myself and one for my mom. I was making rag quilts for a friend of mine for her two kids. I have neuropathy in my hands from MS, and straight pens are definitely not easy for me to use. I am extremely happy with these clips. I was somewhat nervous that it would be hard for me to open them due to a weak grip, but I’m very happy to say, they are very easy to open, and hold well! Bonus, no more stabbing yourself by accident while sewing! I debated if the small size would work well for me and considered buying a package of the big ones as well. But I’m glad I didn’t. Maybe at some point I will add the larger size as they are a little bit easier to use, I debated if the small size would work well for me and considered buying a package of the big ones as well. I'm using the large clips in the box for holding the material out of the way of my machine embroidery in the hoops. The smaller ones I'll use for the sewing machine. They hold the material tight and have worked well. Nice container to keep them in. Update: I've used these clips a LOT now and they work great, so I have to update to say these clips are totally awesome! The clips hold very tight and I won't be using any pins again unless it's a spot where they are totally necessary. These are a fantastic addition to my sewing must-haves.

I have some of the name-brand clips and wanted more but they are so pricey. I ordered these, hoping they would do the job at a more affordable price. I am so pleasantly surprised! When I put these side by side with the other ones, I would be hard pressed to see a difference. They open the same amount, are exactly the same size, the spring is the same stiffness, and they have the same "feel" to them. There is only one teensy little difference; that being the scale on the bottom of these is not quite as easy to see. It is visible, just not quite so pronounced. I'm really getting nit-picky to even mention this difference and for me it makes no difference in functionality. It does tell me that these are NOT made by the same manufacturer and then simply re-branded for discount sale, but other than that there really is no practical difference I can perceive at this point. Not to mention, there are two sizes in the box, mostly the small ones, AND they come is a very cute little tim for storage.

Best price for the amount of clips you get as well as the clips coming in an adorable container. The quality of the clips are just as good as the ones you can purchase at your local craft store. The size of the clips are perfect for my sewing projects. The small clip size: entire clip size is 1”. The part where you clip the fabric is about 1/2”. Entire length of the large clip is 2”, with the clip part at 1”. Will definitely purchase more of these clips as I need them!

If you're not using these clips, try them. They're awesome! They take a little to get used to, but I use them more now than pins. Many of mine made a terrible cruch sound when I first used them. When it first happened, I was sure I had broken the clip. I hadn't, it must be the metal clip seating in the plastic. Be forewarned, you may experience this unnerving sound.

Honestly I was not expecting much because of the price. I decided to Purchase these last minute on a lightning deal after reading the reviews that were very favorable and comparable to the name brand clips. I’m Very glad I decided to go ahead and take a chance on these clips. I happen to use a lot of these for various different craft projects other than the intended use for fabric and sewing. I’ve used them for a Crochet place markers, binding expensive art paper together without leaving any marks or indentations from the clips on the paper. I have use them to apply pressure to craft projects that needed to be glued together, use them to book mark pages in books and magazines. I carry some in my purse for emergency needs. I used these to clip fairy string lights in place. Hang art up to dry, attached Mini magnets to them to use on the fridge to hold up recipes and other important papers and pictures. I’ve used them as “chip clips” clipping chip bags closed, cookies and other food items like pancake mix and the like. I found so many uses for them. They really are fantastic to have on hand. They come in a cute metal tin container with the handle. it’s stuffed full of the clips. I believe I received a few more than what the description said. I actually like these better than the namebrand ones. I paid about $15 for a set of six clips of the name brand kind. Two are already broke. After ordering knees and using them for everything I can think of I’m still left with a very full container. These will definitely last a long time and I haven’t even broken one of them yet. The plastic is a little bit thinner than the namebrand ones but it doesn’t seem to me to make a difference. I’ll definitely be buying more of these and I’m hoping to find a larger size. I refuse to buy any of these at the “big box” chain stores. I’ll spend my money on these.

Even though I don't sew regularly I bought these with the hope they'd work to help keep my crochet pieces from slipping while I stitch them together. I had about a 50% expectation that they would work and I was wrong; they work 100% GREAT! The various sizes are nice because sometimes I crochet with bulky yarn, other times baby weight so I have options.
