I don't usually write reviews, but I really wanted to leave one about this stuff. It works like magic puppy repellant on whatever you spray it on— remote controls, shoes, couch... Whatever you need to save from tiny teeth. My puppy always looks at me glumly after he sees me grab the bottle when he's found a new piece of furniture to chew on. It lasts for at least a couple of days, maybe longer depending on what you spray. It hasn't bleed the color on my upholstery or discord my wife furniture in any way, which is nice.

Works well for my dog

I noticed an immediate improvement in my dog’s skin after applying this to a spot on her leg. In order to discourage chewing I recommend that you drench the affected area liberally. Within a few days the hair started to regrow and the sore was healed. This was after a few months of being in and out of a cone.

My dog wasn’t fazed by this

I ordered this spray then made the DIY vinegar mixture to use while I waited for delivery. The vinegar worked great for my dog. I sprayed the No Chew when I got it and my dog wasn’t affected at all. Like many reviews state, all dogs have different taste. Mine liked it. UPDATE I was contacted the company and given a refund. Great customer service. Thank you!

Not just for puppies, this stuff works wonders!

I am a huge fan of Rocco and Roxie products and this no chew spray is no exception! It far exceeded my expectations in every way! My 7 year old dog was chewing on her hair to the point of removal. It looked terrible and I had to shave all of her hair to make her stop. That worked until her hair started growing back and she fell to her old habits. While I was ordering some Rocco and Roxie jerky sticks (which she LOVES), I noticed the no chew spray and decided to give it a try. Problem solved, she no longer chews off her hair. Thank you Rocco and Roxie for selling high quality products that actually work!

Worked for my dog!

Keep in mind while you read these reviews that like people, dogs are different and have different tastes. Just because it didn't work for someone else's dog doesn't mean it won't for yours and vice versa. With that said, this totally worked for my dog! My year-old Border Collie likes to chew on stuff while we're sleeping or at work. First it was leather goods (belts, shoes, wallets), then cardboard boxes...I wasn't super worried until he started chewing on cables. Power cables, HDMI, USB, Ethernet...you name it, he ate it. I ordered this stuff and as soon as it arrived, I sprayed it on the sole Ethernet cable within his reach that he hadn't destroyed yet (they're his favorite because he likes to pick apart all the wires inside and leave them everywhere). Being the curious and loyal boy he is, he followed me and watched me do it. He sniffed the freshly sprayed cable, made a face, and walked away. Some backsplash from the spray ended up on my hand and he wouldn't let me pet him with that hand until I washed it. Definitely happy with the product. The pee eliminator from Rocco and Roxie is pretty awesome too! Overall, great brand, super pleased.

It's a miracle!

It works! My little 4-month old pit mix is notorious at chewing on things. I sprayed a little bit on my forearm, he licked it once and I kept trying to lick my forearm again but he kept trying to move away from it. I also tested it on my couch pillows and I tried to have him chew on it, but he didn't. He'd sniff it then he moves his head away. What a miracle! I have only used it for 2 days so far, I don't exactly know how long the smell lasts with each spray but it says spray as needed. Lastly, I did not have any skin reaction when I sprayed it on my forearm or caused any discoloration on my couch or couch pillows.

I love the fact that my dog will not chew on ...

I love the fact that my dog will not chew on things that have been sprayed by this. I can spray it on furniture, mostly legs of chairs. My dog has a rash of some sort that she picked up from outside. I could not find anything that I could keep her from licking and chewing on herself to let it heal. My wife found that I can use this spray on my dog also so that she will stop licking herself. Honestly I am very glad that we found this spray. it has helped up out a ton.

Great company & gentle product

This is a great company. We ordered this spray to try on our dog who is a heavy chewer due to allergies. His desire to chew proved stronger than the bitter spray. All dogs are different and though the spray is very strong it just isn't for us. The company emailed me asking how we liked the product and I explained. They were kind enough to refund our money as they want their customers satisfied and feel confident to buy with out risk. I was so surprised! Also to note, our dog has a patch he had chewed raw and this spray did not hurt when applied in that area. It's very gentle and I'm sure would work great for most dogs!

Better than others in the past!

We recently got a another puppy. As is my practice, I got a bottle of bitter spray, as a preventative measure. Puppy’s by nature are curious and tend to try biting and chewing various items to discover and experience new things in their new environment. It was as effective as dabbing (staining and fading) lemon juice as a deterrent-useless! So, I ordered this. I will stick with this for every future puppy we train and have been telling everyone I know about it and how well it works. We have various items of wicker and or woven basket material around our home as well as shoes left here and there at times. Puppy was not dissuaded by the smell, but any taste testing was promptly quelled; with some rather comical oral and nasal reactions. I am pleased to say all shoes, basket like items, family socks, area rug edges and other items are now consistently avoided/ignored by our curious pup.

Dogs in Trash

I don't actually have a puppy, but I purchased this product in an effort to keep my neighbor's dogs out of my trash. I've been fighting a losing battle with them for over 6 years. I tried double bagging, putting food in sealed bags inside the trash bags, bags with febreeze, and in trash cans, and no matter what I tried the neighbor's dogs would inevitably shred my trash all over my yard and the trash guys of course wouldn't pick it up. I started spraying my trash with this product, and after 2 months so far, I've had absolutely no trash spread over my yard. I understand that it may not work on every dog, but for me it's worked fantastically!
