Good and strong clamps.

These came in time for me to set up a new nursery shelf for my plants and cuttings. Both clamps very well and holds the strength and seems to be of slightly similar quality to the other ones I have at home; it (the hood) is just a little more fragile than the other brands I've got. Nonetheless, it has done so far a great job and hopefully it will last as long as the other ones.

Simple and bright

Just what I needed for my shop. Not suitable for accent lighting in a more formal space. Simple, light (not heavy), bright. I think it can take basically any power bulb. The clip is firm but shouldn't damage wood or harder materials. The cord is long enough for my purposes, but just. I can see how a longer cord might be useful. The reflectors are soft aluminum and easily dented, but also easily pushed back into place. I have not had them for very long, so I can't speak to their durability, but they are very simple construction, which bodes well.

Clamp lamp holder.

Clamp on lights, they work! Just make sure the bulb you use is not to heavy as the clamps do not hold that securely. a small LED or incandescent bulb works well, but a large heavy outdoor flood lamp may be too heavy for the spring clamp to hold. I use them to hold grow lights over the winter.

Perfect for the Price

Decent sized and lightweight. Probably not great for situations where they will get tossed around and take a beating but they make for great movable lights. I read some of the negative reviews and took a chance anyway. Mine were not dented and I use LED bulbs so heat is not a concern. Clamps are rigid and the reflectors stay wherever they are angled.

this is one of those things you should buy even if you don't need it. i already had one of these. it was old. but then i saw the 2-pack. they come neatly bundled together for shipping minimalizing. and for the price, you can't beat it. buy this. whether you need to or not.

Excellent Utility Clamp Light and best value online!

These work great! Its nice that they have a 150w rating. I use both on one area with 72 watt incandescents bulbs. I might pick up a couple more because they are so handy for extra lighting in the garage. These would also be perfect for photography back lighting.

Solid enough for purpose, while lightweight to clamp on anything!

I read a review that said they dented easily, not true in my experience! I've dropped them, banged them etc without issue at all. They are lightweight enough to clamp on anything, which is the point. The clamp is really secure, tight, and adjustable in any direction with tightening a winged screw with hand. Great product, I use them to clamp to my plant stand, with grow lights. I highly recommend!

Great for plants

During endless California rains, my succulents were not doing well. Took inside on 2X4's , hung light from curtain rod - fixture distributed enough light for two rows of plants. Purchased another one. Turned on for a few hours a day and plants perked right up.

Great product and seller!

So happy with these, these were a life saver this year. I live in Georgia and we got the first snowfall ever in years and during the day while I'm gone to class and work my dog stays outside but I didn't leave him outside when it got that called and every store in our town was sold out of heat lamps. But I ordered these on here with Prime shipping and they arrived in plenty of time and I hooked them up to his doghouse and now he loves it outside.

Good Lamps!

These have worked well as heat lamps for my reptiles for quite some time! The threading on them appear to be better quality than one I have bough elsewhere in the past. The domes seem to stay on quite well! I have used up to 120W for heating purposes for longer than 24 hours at a time with no issue.
