Very impressed

I wasn’t expecting much because the item was less than $10, and I’m used to paying at least double that for a decent screen protector. It came nicely packaged in a thick cardboard binder with wet and dry wipes along with a soft cloth and dust remover sticker. I wiped down my iPad with the wet wipes first and then went over it with the dry wipe. The screen was clean and dust free with just those wipes, so I did not need the soft cloth or sticker. Then I slowly applied the screen protector from the top right corner (I previously read other reviews that the hinge method from the instructions did not work well) and slowly peeled away the film so the screen protector would gently fall on my iPad. It was the easiest application ever. I had probably three bubbles at the end that I pushed two out with the mini card they provided. For the third stubborn bubble, I had to lift and remove an edge until I reached the bubble, then I repositioned the screen, and voila, no more bubbles! I was very impressed with the glass screen protector. It is not very obvious there is a protector; because it is glass, it feels like the ipad’s natural screen, but better because there are no more fingerprints or smudges! In the questions section, someone asked about glare, and I must admit the glare on the screen is very strong; I could use my iPad as a mirror when the screen is black, so that may be a con for some. Nonetheless, I’m very impressed!

Very good screen protector

Very good screen protector. Packaging is very secure, and application was easy. I did have a couple of bubbles when I applied it. I worked one of them out to the edge of the screen. The other one I just couldn't get out until I read the instructions again. I just lifted the edge of the screen protector slightly to where the bubble was, then placed it down again, and it was gone. Very pleased with it. I just learned there is also a utube video instruction to show how to apply it. I would have watched it first if I knew about it.

This is the best screen protector that I have purchased to date

This is the best screen protector that I have purchased to date. I also treat the items that I put them on very carefully when they cost that much. This was a great product for the price. I read where people get dust much of the time. I used to. Now, I turn the shower on hot and let the bathroom get filled with humidity. While in the bathroom, make sure the iPad is clean before starting. take protective film off of glass and place it on the iPad. You only have one try at this (do it right). The humidity keeps all of the dust from being int he air. Perfect installation. I do this with Phones or whatever I'm putting them on. If I ever need another one, I'm buying it from here.

Easy to follow instructions and perfect fit

The item came in a package like a hard cover book that was stiff enough to protect the glass. Everything I needed to install it came in the box. The glass was protected by the box, a special sleeve, and a sleeve for the special sleeve. It may have been overkill, but I'll bet Omoton doesn't often (if ever) have to replace damaged product. The instructions were quite good and mostly easy to follow. I had a small problem because I misunderstood whether to use a dry cleaning cloth (provided), or the microfiber cloth (also provided). I think the instructions were unclear, but it may have been my fault. I say it was a problem, but I was still able to install the glass without messing it up. They give instructions to use sticky paper tabs to "hinge" the glass to make it easy to apply. They even include these hinges. The only thing Omotion didn't include was a celebratory beer for when I ended up applying the glass without screwing it up. Maybe next time, Omoton ;-)

Perfect Fit and Crystal Clear

Great product, crystal clear and fairly easy to install. Product shipped in a hard box containing the protector in a protective sleeve and all the necessary "tools" for installing. I also watched the online video and then selected a well lit area for the install. Full disclosure - my iPad was brand new and I hadn't opened it prior to receiving the screen protector.. I carefully unwrapped the iPad and used their "hinge method" for the install.. I did not use the wet or dry wipes because the screen was factory new, but I did gently wipe it several times with the included cloth, gently flipped the protector over after removing the covering and making sure it aligned properly before releasing it. I was amazed as it sealed itself perfectly with no bubbles - just a perfectly aligned and crystal clear protector. I never would have believed it would go so smoothly and look so amazing. Love the results and I feel that my new iPad Pro now has the screen protection it deserves.

Excellent screen protection at a very reasonable price

I was skeptical as far as how good this product was and the overall reviews seemed positive. It took me a couple of try's in the installation due to the air bubbles on the first try, fortunately, the product allows for multiple installations. Once it got it just right, I'm really happy on how it protects the screen and both the touch and pen response are excellent. I also initially thought the protector was too thick but that hasn't proven to be an issue at all. It fingerprint smudges aren't a concern and I think this is a great screen protector overall. A+ to the nice packaging and instructions as well. I was considering a ZAGG screen protector but glad I didn't and saved a ton of money in the meantime.

Great investment to protect your iPad protects up to 80# force

I ordered another one of these after my original purchase (> 1yr ago) cracked when my dog jumped on the bed and landed on my iPad. At first I thought that my iPad screen was cracked but when I pulled off the protector it did it’s job in protecting my iPad screen. So I bought another to replace it. Be sure to follow the instructions to a T so you don’t get any bubbles or dust under the screen. I attached a picture of the cracked screen that my 80# pit bull cracked & pic of new projector screen on my ipad. I am very happy with this product. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Would buy the Omoton screen protector again!

I was a bit concerned about the quality of this Omoton screen protector and VERY concerned about the installation. Looks like I was needlessly concerned on both points. Although I hope I never have the need to prove the quality of the screen, I can say with certainty that the installation was flawless. It was easy to thoroughly clean my iPad screen with the products provided and by using paper hinges it was easy to align the protector with the iPad screen. After removing the protector film and slowly lowering the screen onto the iPad, the protector adhesive flawlessly attached itself to the iPad. No bubbles. No dust spots. No haze. Perfectly clean, smooth and aligned. Very happy with the Omoton screen protector.

Fantastic Alternative to Anker

I vouched for Anker screen protectors for years, but due to recent changes in their manufacturing process, I've been forced to look for alternatives. After going through a few duds for my iPad Pro 10.5, I finally found this fantastic product. It's exactly how I remembered Anker screen protectors being; crystal clear and durable. The only thing that bugs me is that the installation process is not easy. Hinged installations typically work well for phones, but not for something as big as an iPad. It would be nice if they included a plastic shell/outline like Anker does that just lets you plop the screen protector on, but the product itself works way better.

Best deal, works great, flawless install

Other screen shields cost twice as much and thickness is 0.30-0.33mm compared to this one which is 0.26mm (20% difference!) - after thoroughly washing your hands, clean the screen according to the instructions, dab the “dust absorber” sticker several times around and really take your time to make sure the air around you has settled, and any late-coming dust particles are captured by the sticker. The included tape to align the screen edge before peeling the film off the glass, that tape is awesome. Despite the iPad having a big surface area, I was able to do a flawless install on the FIRST TRY. Better than some iPhone shields I’ve used in the past! 5 stars A+++
