Best laceless shoe system! Makes it easy to slip on and off your shoes, so now you have no excuses!
I met the founder of Hickies at SXSW earlier this year, and had seen his face in ads before movies on American Airlines! I was excited, to say the least. I had always heard so much about Hickies, but then he gave me a few to try-out and I was hooked! Fast forward a year and I'm continuously buying Hickies and telling all my friends. They make any shoe a slip-on, which is crucial for me as someone who hates taking the time to tie laces and retie-laces once they've gotten loose. And this may sound stupid, but I'm one of those people who will come up with any excuse to avoid a work-out, including convincing myself that getting dressed and tying my running shoes is enough of an inconvenience to be a deterrent to hit the gym....well, no more! All my laced shoes have Hickies now, and I have no excuse.

Amazing!
People who claim these don't fit wide feet or are too loose clearly have not read the included instruction booklet. There are many different ways to lace these throughout your shoe to achieve the fit you need. The booklet even indicates that you might need to mix and match lacing styles to find your ideal fit. I was very skeptical about this product before I tried it, and ended up purchasing one pair. Now I'm obsessed and I plan to buy them in tons more colours to fit into all of my shoes. Sure, you may have to spend a few minutes working on figuring out to how to lace them ideally at first, but once they're in, you never need to meddle with them again. They are completely secure but are also reusable and can be removed without damaging the product or your shoes. Don't be lazy. Read the instructions and take the time to practice closing the loop for just a second before inserting into shoes, and you'll have them laced and ready to go in no time. It took me all of 5 minutes and no, I don't have especially thin or nimble fingers or anything. Give them a chance. You will love the clean look and ease of getting into and out of your shoes. I'm an athlete and plan to use these in my running shoes as well as my casual sneakers. So glad to have discovered this product.

yup, they're are good as they claim to be
got these for my husband, who treats his laced sneakers like slip-ons already. I figured he'd appreciate these. rather than getting stretched out now when he slips them on and off, the elasticity of the Hickies keeps his sneakers securely on his foot, and holds the shoes in shape when they're not on his foot. he said that they make his sneakers feel "snug" and "supportive" on, whereas before they felt too loose, and stretched out. for the 1 pair of sneakers that had loops rather than laces, how to use these was a little less obvious, but between the diagrams included (and some youtube videos we found) we figured it out, and it works just as well as with the sneakers with holes. for the 2nd pair of sneakers, we found a way to lace the Hickies looser by alternating the holes we threaded them through, and he's happy with the fit of both shoes. there are so many ways to wear these, no one should have to complain about the fit being too tight. if they're too tight, you haven't installed them properly... try them another way. I wasn't sure what to expect because the reviews ran from 1 star to 5 star, with people both raving about them and completely panning them. but I took a chance and I'm so happy I did. so pleased with them, I bought a set for myself too. these would be great for older folks who struggle with arthritis in their hands, or just struggle with the mobility needed to bend over and tie shoelaces, or for anyone (like my hubby) who's going to wear their sneakers like house-slippers, which puts a lot of wear & tear on shoes. I think that the Hickies will prevent some of this wear/tear, extending the life of his footwear. shipping was SUPER FAST - like 2 days - and for what these are, the price was reasonable. no need to pay more than $18/set + tax/shipping. we're both really pleased with how well this product does exactly what it's made to do, and would highly recommend them. I just asked my husband "you'd say you're happy with the Hickies, right?" and he replied without any hesitation, "yes I am." there you go.

Who knew Hickies were so good?!
I have had eight abdominal surgeries, making it difficult to bend forward and do simple things like tie my shoes. At the same time, I need to walk frequently to help strengthen my core. As such, I needed good, right walking shoes. I bought some Brooks shoes but needed a lace solution that made it easy to slip the shoes on and off. Enter the hickies! They work great at allowing me to slip my shoes on, yet keep them nice and snug. I’m a big fan!

WOW! I love, love, love these! I'm telling everyone about them.
Wow! I love these! For years I've put up with laces that were too long for my shoes and frequently stepping on them and getting them untied. And then there's the cycling thing. I don't use clips and prefer to wear my running shoes but I always had to tie them just right so that the inside loops were not too long as well as the ends of the laces, otherwise they would get caught in the sprocket or at the very least get all greased up from every rotation of the pedals as the laces rub against the greasy parts. NO MORE! I love how they turn my shoes into slip-ons, slip-ons that fit exactingly well. I love having eliminated the couple of minutes to tie my shoe and just slip them on. I also love how there are several ways to attach them to satisfy one's discretion for tightness or looseness. And there are ways to attach them if you have loops or other different configurations. (See my photo. I have loops in the mix.) Clear instructions included. Also online video tutoring available and easily accessed through QR code. Stylish, too. I got a color that matches the scheme of my Nike's well and not even my students who notice everything have not noticed these yet in the last month. They look so natural on my shoes. Came with plenty, I have six left over. WHERE HAVE THESE BEEN ALL MY LIFE?

Definitely buying more.
I hate laces and tying them. For the longest time I've been always buying shoes w/o laces, which i was fine with.. but there are times where I see sneakers that I like but have laces!! These hickies really help alot. work well and get the job done. You can cross them or do different combinations to adjust the tightness or make it loose. I actually found them the normal way to just be just perfect. You can also NOT use them all also to help make them looser. (maybe leave the top one empty, or have it connected but not buttoned in, just a tip) attached a pic, i love how its alot cleaner also compared to laces. I hate having strings dangling. I know there is another product out there that is like a DRAW STRING, and u just pull or release w/ a button, My friend has that and while i see that works better than tying your shoes... I didnt like how it dangles. you can kind of loop it into the other strings to have it tied down but then it just looks so bunched up and weird looking. Hickies are the way to go!

Customize Your Comfort And Stop Tripping In The Bargain.
These things are awesome? I thought they would be more convenient than laces, but I didn’t really expect them to be more comfortable. I mean, waaaay more comfortable. The nice thing is that you can customize the fit differently from from toe box to ankle. I’ve set mine up to be roomier in the toe and snug up top. Unlike trying to do this with laces, everything stays put! Laces tend to equalize as you walk around, so the toe box gets tighter and the top gets looser as the day wears on. Some added benefits: Zero chance of these becoming a tripping hazard if they come undone. They won’t get caught in your bicycle chain ring! That’s a big plus for me. They can make more shoes available to diabetics who, according to my podiatrist, need more room in the toe box.

Great, wonderful, awesome product!!!
I have two pair of shoes that I wanted to put elastic laces in. For one pair of shoes, I got curly elastic laces. With weak hands, I only got the laces in one shoe. I was able to put that shoe on without help. But let me tell you about the Hickies 2.0. The colour I got was boring (all my fault) but putting them in my shoes was pretty easy. Even with my weak hands, I was able to replace both shoes without lasting pain afterwards!!! Me and a shoehorn was all I needed to put these shoes on!!!! Normally I'd be yelling at the hubby to come and tie my shoes for me. It's an awesome feeling to be able to do another thing for myself after extensive back surgery which took away a lot of my flexibility. Maybe this company should start marketing this product to physical and occupational therapists??

Perfect for running shoes!
I bought Hickies brand no tie laces many years ago before Amazon was even a thing (or at least the big thing it is today), and I still have that pair of Hickies in one of my favorite pairs of running shoes. But the color was bright and didn't match my new shoes, so I wanted to purchase some for my new shoes. These are just as good quality as the ones I bought many years ago. They're so easy to use and once you're done, you never have to worry about them again. The only thing I wish was slightly different is that they're all the same length, and I find that I want a Hickie in the holes closest to my ankle for shoe stability during running, but the holes are so much wider apart there, that the Hickies have to stretch more to make it work. The stretching isn't a problem for the Hickies. They're high quality and can handle it. But it can make the shoes a little tight on my feet until they get a tiny bit stretched out. Overall though, I would take these over lacing up my running shoes any day of the week, and I do!

Love, love, love these!!
I would recommend these for anyone who doesn’t want to tie shoes. They fit better than I expected. I will caution that I do not have a wide foot and I bought these to wear with my keds and converse and they were tight enough to go running or play sports with no worry of my shoes coming off. If you have a wide foot I would not recommend them unless they are made for a wide foot.
