I don't want to make this too simple, but -- well, it's a ball of string! You would think that all string is the same. Unfortunately, that isn't so. This is the good stuff. Tie up your chicken, secure that tender loin. Strong enough for most tasks, thick enough to be easy to handle - "The good stuff"

What's not to love?

It's string

So what do you say about string? It's string. It functions well for tying things up that need tying, as long as they don't struggle too hard. I don't use it to truss meat, I used it to tie soft things to an aluminum frame to make part of a cosplay dragon. But it's string and I've got lots more of it, and I'll surely use it for lots of different tying activities. For some reason we never have enough string around the house, so I might come back for another few spools to hide in various places for when I need string. I have seen other string spools that featured a little metal string cutter and this roll does not have one of those--so you need a blade or scissors to cut your string unless you have very sharp teeth. This was not a hardship, just a point of note. Overall, very pleased with the string.
