Glad I Bought These!
These are great pans! I have never used cast iron in the past, but am excited to have these and expect to use them frequently. I appreciated the care instructions, because I would not have known the right way to clean and care for these pans. They seem to be very high quality.

Don't Hesitate on the Enameled Version. It's Durable!
I'm a bachelor, and in the abundance of time I have to myself, I've taken up cooking in the past few years. I started with a basic cheap SS cookware set, upgraded to a aluminum/ceramic cookware set, and now I'm trying to consolidate my all-around workhorses for the kitchen instead of trying to find room for a medley of pots/pans in my studio. Now, I have an 6qt Instant Pot to handle stockpot functions, a medium sauce pan for smaller volumes of liquids/stews, and this 2-1 dutch oven to handle skillet, sauteing, and baking duties. The 2-1 dutch oven also can handle overflow stew/soup duties, if needed. My other appliances include a rice cooker, toaster, and microwave. This addresses 95% of my day-to-day needs and I can still prepare mains for 6-8 people while asking others to bring sides. With all that said, the 2-1 enamel version is a joy to use for my daily meals. I use the skillet at least 4 times a week to make home fries (after microwaving sliced potatoes to speed up the cooking process), crack a few eggs over the skillet, pan-fry some veggies. At first I was worried that repeated use would lead to a lot of chipping on the enamel, especially since I have electric coils, but I've abused the skillet and the enamel still looks perfect. I recommend this 100%.

Loving cast iron.
This combo of cast iron pans was everything I expected. I found that on glass top stoves most teflon pans warp, creating a round bottom that will not stay put. Thus, I am switching out all teflon skillets to cast iron. I don't think anyone will be disappointed in this product. Be forewarned, they are heavy.

Perfect for making and baking anything
I love this dual purpose pot and fryer. Although I have a larger Dutch oven this one is is the perfect size for daily use. The lid is a perfect sided frying pan while the pot is perfect for almost anything you want to make. Convenient stove to oven use makes this super versitile. Browns things perfectly and both are excellent for start to finish prep and cooking.

Great for comfort food while camping
This dutch oven has been great on our camping trips this summer. I've toasted bagels, made campfire pizza, baked cinnamon rolls among several other things all in the dutch oven either over the fire or on a a camp stove. It's been the perfect addition to our outdoor kitchen and now I won't leave without it when we camp.

Had no idea cooking in cast iron could change my life!!!
I purchased this after learning that I have low iron and research kept mentioned to cook in a cast iron skillet to add iron to your diet. I thought it couldn't hurt. I make vegetarian chili on a regular basis and usually cook in a copper pot. Every time I make it I burn the chili and it causes a huge mess with burned chili on the pot. I have to go through a big hassle to clean by adding baking soda and vinegar and boiling and scraping. I made my chili in the cast iron pot and I couldn't believe that there was no sticking and a very easy cleanup. I now even reheat the chili in the skillet/lid. I am so happy I purchased this.

Great quality!
I already had one amazing cast iron skillet but I received these two as a birthday gift! They are amazing for baked mac n' cheese and corn bread! You can make tons of different items and they will all turn out amazing with these skillets. They are dishwasher safe but I would recommend hand washing and drying just to be safe. I always hand wash these just so they don't rust or get stained. Always spray a little olive oil or whatever oil you use to make sure things don't stick! Amazing skillets!

but know that it will be great because I truly love the cast iron products
Just received this yesterday and have not used this yet, but know that it will be great because I truly love the cast iron products. Used this weekend to make goulash and it turned out perfect. So happy to have gotten this, will also use for some mexican dishes I have in my head and the "lid" will be used for the tortillas to be warmed up.

Excellent product, best customer service ever...
Original order had surface blemish on inside enamel, didn't think it would last long with this defect. Held off on my review until I contacted Bruntmor service. They (Samantha) very quickly sent out a replacement, which is beautiful. Love this double pan dutch oven design, works great on stovetop and in oven. Great product, looking forward to many years of use.

Great Pan - Needs Additional Seasoning
I love this skillet! We have used it a couple of times and are pleased with our meals. I have family from the south, so I know a well-seasoned cast iron skillet when I see one. While this product was pre-seasoned, it is not seasoned enough to prevent your food from sticking to the skillet. Here are the steps I took to season and clean my skillet: Seasoning the skillet: I placed foil on the bottom of the oven and preheat to 400 degrees I fried some bacon in the skillet and lid and as I suspected the meat stuck to the bottom. Once the bacon cooked down, I was able to move the food around with ease. After the bacon was fully cooked and the skillet was still hot (please use oven mitts), I took tongs and a paper towel and rubbed the bacon fat all over the inside of the skillet and the lid. You can also use vegetable oil to wipe down the skillet – I chose to use bacon because…well, it’s bacon. I placed the skillet and lid upside down on the oven rack and set the timer for one hour. Be advised: the oven does get smoky so don’t be alarmed. Once the hour was up, I turned off the oven and let the pan cooled a bit before removing the skillet. Cleaning the skillet: It is easier to clean the skillet when it is still a bit warm, but please use caution Using Morton’s sea salt and a paper towel I began to scrub the skillet (you can also use a raw potato and sea salt) Once clean I rinsed out the skillet and immediately put it on low heat for about 2 minutes to evaporate any water Store in a cool, dry place to prevent rusting A couple of notes: NEVER submerge a cast iron skillet in water as it will cause rust) NEVER use soap NEVER put a cast iron skillet in the dishwasher If you do have rust – use steel wool to scour and remove the rust. Repeat the steps for cleaning with the sea salt I would recommend this skillet, and if taken care of properly, it can last generations!
