I’ve ordered and used more brands of (so called) kitchen scissors than I care to confess. So far, these scissors are fantastic! For starters, the darn things cuts paper; bonus. So many scissors seem to fail at this simple task straight out of the package. I love the feel of the grips because they accommodate man-sized hands. The only drawback, kitchenwise, is the blades aren’t quick disassemble, so, cleaning is a bit more work. I’ll be happy to make that sacrifice over a pair of scissors that actually works.

Put it into perspective, I normally purchase German made stainless steel knives (Wurshof) that can go $150 or more for one. But I didn’t like the design and quality of Wurshof shears (price wasn’t worth it). So far these shears are exactly what I wanted. Pros: nice weight, solid stainless steel design, heavy duty, sharp, excellent price Cons: made in China (but we expect that at this price and it doesn’t affect the quality )

I wanted a strong pair of kitchen shears (or whatever else needs to be cut), but didn't want to spend $50, or even the $25 than other cost as I don't expect my demands on these to be high. Plus points: very sharp, the metal is thick and appears durable, and the finish is fine for the price point. Compared to the more expensive shears, these don't split apart for easy cleaning, and I'm a little disappointed to see the screws/bolts that hold the shears together can't be tightened. Hopefully that won't be an issue. They are tightly held together so there is some friction as the shears come to a close, and I've added a little oil to help with that. Overall, good value for $13.

I've been looking everywhere for a reasonably priced but solid steel full tang scissor. All those crappy scissors from local store are trash, broke several pairs when trying to open those clamshell plastic packaging. They always break from the handle, because the handles are not full tang, so the steel part protrudes from the plastic or rubber handle from exerting even a small amount of force. This scissor is visibly solid stainless steel and full tang, you can wrap some padding on the handle if you want, but I like it as is, I like the stainless steel look, and it feels good in hand. I've gone through several hard plastic clamshells with zero problems, it eats right through them, and I can use any amount of force I'd like, they won't break since they are solid steel. I highly recommend these scissors for heavy duty jobs.

Very sturdy “feel” to them. They just feel like things used to be made, like they’ll last 50 years. Comfortable handles and grip. I have somewhat larger hands but comfortably hold these without trying to figure out which fingers to squeeze in. Most importantly, right out of the box they cut like a dream. I hope the sharpness holds up but they are easily adjustable and solid stainless steel so I’m optimistic given how genuinely solid these feel overall. Happily pleased and impressed for just talking about kitchen shears.

These are sharp, constructed out of metal and for the price, unbeatable in value. I purchased one pair and after using them, ordered two more. I now have one in the kitchen, one in the office and one in the garage.

I bought these as a gift for my daughter-in-law who is an artist and makes crafts for a living. She absolutely loves them. She said they're surprisingly heavy, and she tested them out on a cardboard box and they cut right through it. If a seasoned artist is pleased with these scissors then they must be good quality. Thank you for a winner!

I got everything that I hoped for, with these!! Sharp as can be, super easy to use and clean. I highly recommend these scissors for anyone looking for a great pair of lasting scissors. Meat to crafts, materials-any. Stainless steel-excellent, can't beat it.

This is a solid set of meat shears that easily cut through the joints of a raw chicken I was prepping for dinner. It's a little heavy as it's metal all the way, I wouldn't want to drop it on my foot, but it's got a nice heft for cutting through cartilage and raw meats. Not sure how it'll hold up long term but for now, would recommend.

What an amazing pair of scissors for such a great price!! I worked in a hobby store for 5 years and handled my fair share of scissors in craft and sewing projects. I can confidently say these are comparable to 40 dollar scissors! I’ve been using them for two months in my kitchen, and I haven’t needed to sharpen them yet. The weight feels nice in my hands, they look great with my silver knife set, and they are very durable. Fantastic buy!!
