Works great, no holes in your boat!
Works great! Follow the instructions and really wait for your stern to dry before applying this. Mounted my transducer for a Lawrence DSI, after two trips and top speed on some rough water, there is no change in the mounting. I will definitely get another one for my other boat!

Yay, no holes in my boat
Went on fine, holding my transducer without a problem. Wire routers are a nice addition to avoid using the screw ones that come with your transducer.

WOW! No HOLES in BOAT
Very nice Stern Pad - If your like me and don't want to put holes in your boat, This is what you need, happy with item. If place right it doesn't drag in water at high speeds, I would buy this PAD before I drill any holes in stern ! Thanks

Just what I needed
So far so good. Installed easily, and seems to be stuck for good. Only been in the water twice, but it’s holding the transducer just as I wanted.

Worked like a charm. I used epoxy to secure it instead of the supplied adhesive pad.

Installation For Fiberglass And Aluminum
Installation for aluminum and fiberglass: 1. Determine your desired FLAT SURFACE location. 2. Trace around pad at location with a fine tip marker. 3. Use included fine grit sandpaper to remove ALL surface paint to the shiny bare aluminum. (Skip the sanding step for fiberglass installation.) 4. Use included alcohol prep pads to clean the surface then allow to air dry. 5. Remove 3M backing from Stern Pad and install applying maximum hand pressure for a minute or two to allow adhesive to set. (NOTE: Take your time and do it right because once the pad makes contact with the surface, adjustments are NOT an option.)
