EASY TO INSTALL!!!
Wow, this was incredibly easy to install. I removed my old controller and all of the things connected to it. I only needed the wires going out to my sprinkler zones. Blossom supplied stickers to label the wires so that I could reconnect them to Blossom in the same order. I connected my 6 zones to the Blossom and the common wire, no tools required. I then plugged in the Blossom controller and downloaded the Android App. In about 5 minutes I had my Sprinklers working. I then enabled the Blossom Controller to work with my Amazon Echo devices. Again, very simple. I can now just ask Alexa to water my yard. The Blossom controller also uses my homes location to tailor the watering of the yard to my local weather conditions. So far I love it!

Works well so far, and they just updated the app with more watering options.
Works great so far. I let it pick the optimal watering schedule based on my address and the weather data it pulls in, and so far it seems to be doing the job. I wasn't all that impressed with the fact that it's indoor mount only, since not everybody has their sprinkler wires coming into a garage or other covered structure, but I bought an Orbit 57095 Sprinkler System Weather-Resistant Outdoor-Mounted Controller Timer Box Cover, currently around $32 on Amazon, and it fits inside perfectly. The interior mounting plate for the Orbit box has pre-drilled holes for their own timers, but this comes with screws sharp enough to drill their own holes in the plastic, and it stays mounted firmly inside the box.

Streamline with great features
This controller has been a delight. I had a mechanical RainBird controller that was a pain to program. I did have a problem with the setup but once I rebooted my iPhone, it cleared right up. Setup is a breeze and operation only takes a few minutes to learn. A couple of things I like are the test cycle, which turns on a zone for about ten seconds allowing you to make quick adjustments. Having your phone in your hand while you are doing testing is a big time saver over having to walk back and forth to the controller in the garage. Another nice feature is the rain monitor. It won't water your lawn if you have either had rain or rain is projected, based upon weather forecasts. It has been quite accurate but, if rain is predicted and you don't get it, you can always manually run a cycle. I was a little concerned about the wifi connectivity with my server, what with it being mounted in the garage. There has been no problem. This is one of my better purchases.

Excellent for my needs.
This product does exactly what I need. It does not have all the manual functionality of the old hunter system I replaced. It is missing any unit mounted controls. You must use the app to manually operate it or set your schedules. In my case that has not been an issue at all. You can create very complex scheduling and watering rules compared to older tech. You can also adjust each zones overall watering compared to the baseline. It accounts for weather in your zipcode including increasing and decreasing watering times automatically. I have been very happy with it.

Easy to install. Easy to setup. Doesn't water when it's raining!
This works exactly like it is supposed to. Within 20 minutes of taking my old unit off the wall, I was testing all of my zones with my Blossom. Super easy to install and super easy to set up with the app. Some others have complained that there are internet connection issues; I had a power surge the night after I installed my blossom. Once the electricity and internet was back online it reconnected and watered exactly like it was supposed to- following my schedule. I love the fact that I can see the history of my lawn being watered and see which zones ran and how long they ran and when they ran. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to change to home automation. Blossom connects to Alexa easily and its so cool to tell Alexa to water the flowers.

What a deal... It works!
If you do your homework and read the directions, you'll have a good experience. It was easy for me to install and my sprinkler system was installed in 2001 when my house was built. The pairing process with the app was easy too. It worked great. Unlike many of my other Alexa items, it has lasted 2 months without needing to be re-installed. Not only that, I actually look forward to the push notifications and emails when this thing tells me it's not going to water today because of the forecast. What can I say, ti works!

It is very simple and very easy to setup and install
If you want to control the water yourself this is not the unit for you. It is very simple and very easy to setup and install. Once you put in the zip code and your location it takes into account the weather for your location and water automatically what is needed for your area and your type vegetation, I placed this unit in my vacation home where I don't want to think about things being watered enough or too much. This is a set it and forget it unit. It do not have all the reporting and bells and whistles as others, but it does not cost as much. I am not a techy person and I don't need all that. This was perfect for me!

Great as an upgrade to an old system
I bought this as a replacement to my 25 year old irrigation controller, and I'm very happy I did it. From opening the package, to installation, configuration, testing and clean up, it took about an hour to complete. Philips screwdriver, drill and hammer were handy with garage wall mounting. And I recommend you take a photo of your original wiring in case you need to go back to your original equipment for some reason. FYI, the system I replaced was a Hardin. If you're replacing a Hardin, the white wire on the right side goes into one of the two "com" ports of the Blossom (see photo). The app is very robust. You can test zones, which is helpful for spring turn on and sprinkler head QA. There is a hibernate feature to put the system to sleep if you are outside the growing season. You can tie it to your Alexa and use voice commands to run the system. And the settings per zone (head type, vegetation type, watering time, etc) are very useful. I'll know more about its ability to take weather forecasts into account to reduce water use and skip waterings as the growing season progresses, but if it works as advertised the system will pay for itself with water cost savings very quickly. Overall, an easy to install and configure system.

Bought by Scott's recently, resolved problems, give it a shot
First off I bought this on a different account I no longer have access too but I wanted to share some information. Scotts bought the company and I am told they worked on the early on issues. Mine will prompt me with a notification that it is skipping watering due to rain. Love that feature. I did call tech support who answered right away (they did not respond to emails), they suggested a few setting changes from default that I cannot remember. A few days later after that I had no problems ever since (been about 4 months now). I would suspect that with the new ownership they will continue to bug fixe any issues. My issue was that initially, it wouldn't run the cycles. It's flawless now and the Alexa integration is awesome. Just say alexa, tell blossom to run zone 3 for 40 minutes. Viola - garden is watering.

Simple Watering Job
I've only got 2 zones to water, so this is more than I need. I've read other reviews about problems with wifi connection but mine seems fine. I even disconnected the power, and plugged back in. Synced back up without an issue. The only negative I have is the size of the plug-in cord. Instead of putting the transformer in the unit head, they put it into the plug, and that doesn't plug water-tight into my gang box. So, I've got to build a little cover over the unit and run an extension to the outside wall for the GFCI outlet. I've enjoyed using my phone to program and spot water between schedules.
