I bought these for my husband to drill holes into ceramic pots for drainage. They have worked out great and so far we have not had any breakage with the ceramic pots!

Just got around to using it today. I wanted to drill a hole in the bottom of a whiskey bottle. This tool went through easily and in a relatively short time. If you want to put holes in glass bottles These drill bits will do the trick. You can find some helpful tips on you tube also.

Just gave these a test run on a pottery vase - worked well. Since I've only used them once, I can't attest to how well they last, or how they do on glass. I didn't use a drill press, so I had to "lock down" my arms to keep both the hand drill and the vase from bouncing around before the drill began cutting in a groove - but it was doable, in case you don't have a press.

My hubs and I have a very cool bar at our camp and we like to add deco to it every year. This year we wanted to add whiskey bottle lamps...problem was drilling a hole in the bottle for the cords to run through. We went to Lowes and bought a diamond drill bit. It broke every bottle we tried. We thought we'd give this set a try, but didn't expect much since the whole set cost lest then the one drill bit we bought at Lowes. These drill bits worked perfectly. There was no cracking or splitting of the glass. It made perfect holes every time...within seconds. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking to drill holes in glass!

I brought this set of diamond drill bit to drill some holes on my tiles flood to run some 1/2 inches pips and it work great. I was able to drill the holes i need it with out cracking the tiles. Personally i think this set of drill bit is amazing deal for a DIY. For ten dollars i am happy this with set of drill bit.

I have ordered these 2 or 3 times now. I drill glass bottles and put lights in them. I get through about 30 bottles with one bit. Then i switch off to another size. Because these are so cheap i just order more when the bits are warn out. But.. You need a straight drill to use on a bottle. Meaning.. If there is any wobble in your drill makes it very hard to cut the glass amd not break a bottle. You get many sizes. I have tried ordering smaller sets... To find they were tiny drill bits and i spent just as much money. You get a great product for a great price!!!

I had been drilling holes in wine bottles for a year with typical pointed tip glass bit. I took a chance on these bits and not only are the holes much smoother & there is less debris in the bottle, it only takes about 2 minutes to drill the hole. I utilize turpentine to cool the bit and this has not been problematic, although I think without the turpentine, the hole would drill even faster.

I bought these to drill holes in wine bottles. I had never done this before but wanted to give it a whirl. These drill bits are great. I drilled a hole without breaking the bottle on my first try. 😁

You need to drill at an angle and grind a groove in your glass, then you can start tilting the bit straight to make your circle. Works great, had no issues at all going through a vintage windshield. No cracks and doesn't take too long.

Does the job it was intended to. Have only used one of the smaller sizes for a couple of holes in glass bottles but it worked pretty well. Just remember to start your hole with the edge of the bit at an angle, use a slow speed and enough water to keep the bit lubricated and be patient let the bit cut the hole.
