3 Lights for the price of 4....COMPANY MADE THIS RIGHT!!!!
These lights are very bright and very light. Very happy with the quality, however the packaging was so flimsy that the box arrived essentially severed in half. At first inspection, nothing seemed wrong with the four lamps so I went ahead and hung then in place of my old fluorescent fixtures. When I flipped the switch, one of the fixtures had one bad bulb that would not turn on. When I played with the switch, I could hear a flicker inside and the other bulb went out. I had to play around with the switch to get the one good bulb to stay on, but as it is, I have one dead bulb. It's just not worth it to try and find new packaging and return the entire order, so I guess I'm stuck with three good lights for the price of four. These were not cheap even for four lights, but I thought it worth it. But to get three lights for $75.00???? Too bad because I h ave 8 fluorescent fixtures in my garage I was hoping to replace with these, but if the company cannot figure out a way to get the lights to customers in a more secure manner, I'll have to look elsewhere. 04-03-2018 EDIT: I have change my rating to a 5-Star. Having read my review, the company contacted me and informed me they would be sending me a new light to replace the one that had one bad bulb. An added bonus was there was no need for me to send back the old one.The replacement was sent with the same fast shipping and is now hanging my workshop. Love the lights. Love the great attention to customer satisfaction. I will be ordering more lights for my garage. thank you Hykolity

This light is amazing. Seriously HUGE bang for your buck
WOW! This light is amazing. Seriously HUGE bang for your buck. I'm actually going to buy another one for the other side of my garage. The difference is literally night and day. Installation is easy BUT if you are mounting in the joists like I did I would recommend drilling pilot holes, and then using bolts instead of the flimsy screws they provide. This is one of the best, most satisfactory products I have purchased in a long time.

Excellent replacements for fluorescent light fixtures.
I hate replacing fluorescent tubes. Standing on a ladder while trying to install fluorescent tubes is one of the banes of my existence. They never go in easily and I constantly worry that they are not properly "turned into place" and will fall. Cleaning up after one does fall is a nightmare. These LED shop lights are a practical and reasonably priced alternative for fluorescent light fixtures. My first impression out of the box was that I had purchased crap. They're so light! Compared to a standard 2 light fluorescent fixture they are "featherlike" and I think they could be securely installed into sheetrock or some other non-structural substrate without issue. Given that they are plastic, they are reasonably well designed and built. I handled with care and had no issues with product failure during installation. Installation itself was straightforward with the provided hardware. I tested a single fixture and found and it drew 0.3A at 115v = 34.5W. I don't have a illuminometer but the light output appears comparable to 2 Phillips cool white 40W fluorescents (without the subtle flicker). The plug-ended cords are nearly 5 ft long and have a rotating on/off about 18 in from the plug. All in all an excellent product.

Great lights. Easy installation.
I purchased these lights because my existing fluorescent shop lights in the garage did not light up well in the cold weather. These lights work great in their place! They are a nice bright white and come on instantly at full brightness. The LED lights I bought do not come with a back reflector so I reused the back reflector from the lights I was replacing after stripping out the old wiring and bulb holders. The new lights come with two thin steel cable hanging wires so I drilled two matching holes in the old reflectors, ran the new hanging wires up through the holes, and screwed the wire loop ends to the top of the reflector. It took about 5 minutes each and I didn't have to change the hangers up at the ceiling. I keep going out to the garage for no reason now just to turn on the new lights.

Great LED shop light
Excellent product. Easily replaced an older 4-ft florescent dual-bulb light, but this LED is much brighter and brilliant. It feels cheaply made (no metal to speak of) but I don't see why it would need to be heavy for the job requirements. I plan on buying more for other areas of my garage and basement. Instantly comes on and doesn't flicker. The cord was same length as the old light I removed, which made it fast to replace without having to add wire length. I plugged it into a switched-outlet, but the cord has an inline rocker-switch as well. I guess it took me all of 2 minutes to replace the old shop light. It was packaged as a box inside of an amazon box. The outer box had a dent, but the inner box was fine and nothing was damaged. It came with hanging hardware, but I used the chains/hooks of my old light without a problem. That is why it was so quick to install.

Super light, nice and bright
Hung, plugged in, flicked switch and "aaaaaah!" About twice the light of the ailing fluorescent shop light which it was replacing. The brightness is a pro for sure (so long as its not in your *direct* line of sight, which may prove uncomfortable). It's also light as a feather, and being that it's LED, it's inexpensive to run. The only real con is the length of cord -- it's not ridiculously short, but if this light is being suspended someplace high it will never reach an outlet -- but that's handled easy enough with an extension cord, and not worth deducting a star.

Really great light for the shop
This light does everything that the old lights didn't. It's brighter, generates almost no heat, consumes very little power, and will never burn out (at least not by the old definition). I play electric guitar, and fluorescent lights are a source of noise, so that's another big plus. The top side of the "tubes" have their own reflector/deflector/whatever, so there's no need for bulky topside sheetmetal. The entire assembly is very light, and the "tubes" aren't made of glass, so if you knock it around, it's not going to break like the old fluorescents were prone to. The mounting brackets are nice overkill-grade stuff, and the mounting screws are also decent (you can screw them in with a power tool, and the heads won't strip out). The only things that I can even slightly criticize are the switch and plug - both are not needed for my application, and since I might move lights like these around, a switch and/or plug still doesn't make sense. I'm not going to install an outlet up at ceiling level, and my shop isn't a shack, so I can turn off lights with an actual switch that shuts them all off. Although it voided the warranty, I snipped off the two-prong plug and just hardwired it in where the previous lights were. These slight criticisms do not warranty reducing even 1/10 of a star - if one customer finds them to be valuable, then they are value-added. I have two shops - my big basement is the source of a lot of projects, and my detached garage is yet another source of completely different projects. Needless to say, it's nice to have good lighting, and it's great if the lights can go for a long time with little or no maintenance. The other big plus (for me) is little to no heat is generated from this light (my garage has no climate control, and the basement is kind of iffy), and there's low current draw vs. traditional style shop lights (great for long projects that go on into the wee hours of the morning). I can imagine that some folks might find this light to be expensive compared to fluorescents or other old-tech lighting, but it makes sense to factor in just what you are buying, and how it's very likely to cost you less in the long run. As for me, I'm tired of replacing those old tubes, and then having to dispose of them, too!

Inexpensive and practical
Bought these to replace old shop lights in the basement. The bulbs are being phased out so the new counterparts are expensive and you need an adapter to use leds with them. The old bulbs cost more than buying these new led lights. I was shocked at the size of the box that arrived. I said how on earth can 4 lights be in that small box. They must have sent the wrong product. It was smaller than 1 of my old lights. I opened it and there were 4 units in there. These are so lightweight that I still can’t believe how far we progressed from the metal shop lights that weigh a ton. I would say the whole thing weighs less than 1 old fluorescent bulb. The dimensions are so small which makes me feel good not only because of the weight but also the environmental factor. They do what they are supposed to do... light. Great powerful lights. So easy to hang. Comes with all kinds of hanging gear. You can honestly hang these with a thread. That’s how light they are. Not sure if you can replace the bulbs but I doubt it. Even so they should outlive me.

This light is great
I will never buy another 4ft Flourescent fixture for a garage after buying this light fixture. Every house I've owned I always installed at least a couple of 4ft dual tube florescent fixtures for the ceiling. I purchased this LED fixture because I needed something for above my workbench and it was fairly cheap so I gave it a try. I was a little nervous after receiving it thinking i had just wasted money on another Chinese piece of junk (like some of my tools!) because it was so light. It weighs about what one florescent tubes weighs. OK, so I hung it and thinking I knew what to expect a plugged it in. And well, lets just say that I saw the light and life would never be the same again. This thing is extremely bright. Way WAY brighter than the twin tube fluorescents I've always purchased. SO far cheaper, lighter, brighter and the pluses just kept adding up the longer I've used it. Our garage is not heated so it gets cold here and the old lamps many times have trouble starting when it's very cold. Not this wonderful thing. It comes on instantly. No flickering, no humming from the transformer, just instant super bright, silent light that emanates from a fixture so light weight, you could hang it with sewing thread. It cost a fraction of what the old fixtures cost to run. I've heard that the bulbs last for years so we shall see. I'm sold on this technology for sure. I don't think this would be good lighting for say a living room, but in a garage, it's great. Might be good in a bathroom as well. Anyway, buy one if you need a good work light. You couldn't possibly be disappointed.

Bought One, then Two, now Three.
Update: Bought a second so I could have it where I originally wanted. Then decided to put that one in garage and then ordered a third for its original purpose. This one I mounted to the ceiling. Because the light is so light the screws are itty bitty and no anchors required. Super easy to mount. I was sick of trying to work in the dark in my office since there is no overhead light and for less than the price of a light kit for my fan or a decent floor lamp I found this. I loved how it could be mounted to the wall or hung. Decided for $20 I couldn't go wrong. However once it arrived my mother decided she loved it and her needs were greater than mine. So it is now hanging in her nail salon, which prior to this had about 3 lamps that still didn't provide enough light. This thing is awesome! It is nice and bright and easy to hang, doesn't give off any heat. Please note that in my pictures I had to do some modifications to make it hang lower, I spend about $10 at the hardware store on the supplies. But in a room with normal height ceilings there wouldn't be any issues. I now have to go buy myself another one. I plan on purchasing even more of these in the future for my garage.
