I found this item to be well constructed, with its neoprene, tri-directional designed strap, and what appears to be "coated aluminun" ancors, which helps me maintain a very secure grip of the reader. Having stated in the headline, it's very silicone cover friendly. And that is definitely a good selling point, when it comes to completely protecting the device. At first I thought the strap wasn't going to fit over the case properly. But, with a little extra "thumb pressure" it fit quite snug on the bottom corners and at the top of the reader.

Great idea. It's a bit tight, but that means secure, I guess. I have read of many with tendinitis from holding this device. Most direct comments to the weight of it. I say that the problem is the way the we hold it and with this you aren't holding it

Great hand strap

This hand strap has saved my aching arm and wrist when I read in bed. I find I can hold the strap in various ways to reduce strain. I just wish I had bought this years ago!

My dad loves it!

Bought this for my dad (in his 70’s) who was having trouble holding his Kindle while reading in bed-he said his hand and arm kept going numb. After about a month with this product, he says he absolutely loves this thing. Says it takes almost no effort to hold his Kindle now - just a finger or two slipped under this strap. No more numb hands.

Solved the Tired Hands Problem for Kindle Reading

I use my Kindle Voyage for several hours each day because it is lightweight, has a convenient page turning function and I can change the font and the font size. My hands were getting tired and I do drop my Kindle. This triangular, flexible fabric strap is a wonderful solution for my tired hands and keeps me from dropping my Kindle. I highly recommend this product and am delighted I took time to research all available hand straps to find this model. The triangular structure can be attached to my Kindle in several different ways--all of which leave the necessary buttons free to use. The fabric stretches just enough to be safe but comfortable without the irritation or heat leather-type models sometimes have. I would give this ten stars if I could.

Nice solution to me dropping my nook

I've enjoyed having this little nook strap. I use it with one or two fingers in it and now I'm not dropping my nook on the floor when my eyes start "resting" when I'm lying down and resting.

Perfect for Oasis 7"

Update: I just started to read a book again and thought how grateful I am to have this strap. After using the strap for many hours of reading, I still have no finger, hand, or wrist discomfort! I can escape into a book without being constantly pulled back into reality because of discomfort. Now I'm just pulled back into reality to leave another review because I love this strap so much :) I LOVE this strap! I felt immediate relief on my hands. No more sharp screen edges pressing into my fingers! It fits my Oasis perfectly. I tried it in the positions shown on the packaging which were handy to have when trying to decide which I liked best. I do wonder how it will hold up if my hands are wet when in the pool. I'll update after using it in the pool this summer. Perfect!

Love this thing!

This makes reading so comfortable, even when lying in bed. It fits snugly, and even fits over my silicon cover. I’ve made it fit over a bigger cover, too, but not as well. If you don’t have a cover on your Kindle, or have a silicone backing, it’ll fit nicely. Great little product overall. I’m very happy with it.
