Good quality, functions
Got this just before winter and wanted it for cleaning the aluminum siding... It's a 2 story so reach was important. Got their 2-story nozzles and it worked OK. Took about 2 hours to do a very moldy, dirty side. It's a good start. will have to do the rest of the house in the spring... Washer works great, startup a breeze and setup and tear-down was very easy. It looks great. Siding is clean, free of mold, mildew, chalking and debris. Had priced to get this done professionally and that cost vs the cost of the washer broke even.

After reading the instructions carefully and completely, I found that everything worked according to the mfg. instructions. The power washer performed up to my expectations. I have yet to use the driveway & sidewalk attachment but everything else worked great. It was easy to follow the step by step instructions on everything from assembly and set up to operation and clean up. To be safe, I am going to store it during the Ohio winter indoors after stabilizing any unused fuel for storage too. I do recommend the 7122 to others who want a very good, trust worthy residential unit.

This Generac-7122-Power Washer can do the job
Generac SpeedWash 7122 3200 PSI 2.7 GPM 196cc Gas Powered Pressure Washer System with AttachmentsI bought a power washer after much research and some trepidation. The sticking points were price, of course, and the numerous negative reviews for just about any brand you might consider. Figuring there must be a few units that actually work as advertised, I bought a pretty well reviewed Generac-7122-Power Washer. Followed setup instructions meticulously, and it started and ran and cleaned well. Next day, for reasons I will never understand, I disconnected the spray gun from the pressure hose. I then noticed the O-ring on the high pressure hose was in two pieces. BROKE! After ONE connect/disconnect of the gun! I figured Generac may have included a couple free extra O-rings in the box, like back in the day. NOPE, LOL. And I defy anyone to find the correct O-ring size needed for replacement in the manual or in the parts list, or on Generac's web site. NADA! So after days of research to clean my driveway, here I sit, cursing at a machine that will soak me to the bone until I find the right O-ring. I bought one O-ring, but it was too big. Back to the store, bought another size… this time it's too small, and stores are closed, it is Sunday. UPDATE Monday 8/28/17: OK, Monday. Bought two more O-ring kits that looked about right. First one, annnnggghhh, not right. Second kit, $4.79, one of them WORKED. The other nine sizes in the bag, not right of course. Spraying driveway is good today FINALLY. UPDATE Tuesday 8/29/17: I might have rated this product HIGHER (now that it's finally working), but I still take a point away for the struggle I had to go through to get it working. Add to that, the price today is $90 LOWER than I paid a week ago, and Amazon says too bad for me. Get one at today's price: $449 minus $100 = $349. UPDATE Saturday 9/2/17: OK, used it a few more times, this item is GREAT! Can you forget my previous complaints? Some TIPS from what I've learned: 1) Bleed whatever hose/water supply you connect to the washer. The washer does NOT like air/bubbles in the hose, it only wants water. JUST before you connect the water supply to the washer, let the hose run until all air is purged (the hose stops spitting) --- it can take longer than you might think, I recommend 1 MINUTE of flow for every 100" of hose you're using. OTHERWISE the pump seems to cavitate and do nothing, probably BAD for it!! I was able to wash successfully with 500' of hose (400' of 3/4" plus 100' of 5/8") with 5 GPM at the faucet and 5 GPM at the end of 500'. 2) Don't over tighten the inlet hose to the washer, too tight might give you a leak --- back off a little! There is little room here for fingers here, I had to use a persuader to connect/disconnect the hose. 3) Finesse the choke when starting. My best results full choke for cold start, after 1 or 2 pulls move the choke lever a bit and pull again. 4) Grab both inlet and hi-pressure hoses and hold them NEAR the washer handle when you move the washer, to keep from running over/tangling the hoses under the wheels. UPDATE Monday 9/4/17: OK, my wife has read me the riot act for stripping some of the driveway seal off the driveway. I was using the RED Blast Pressure Nozzle to clean a few "tough" spots before having the driveway RE-sealed. It took the last seal layer OFF, down to the actual pavement. NO HARM, I said, but just BEWARE that the RED nozzle is a WEAPON! LOL Oh, while on the subject of nozzles, make sure the quick connect of the nozzle is COMPLETE, TIGHT, you can't pull it off. Otherwise the nozzle becomes a projectile that could do some damage! Hope I'm still happy after a year or two with this washer!

Ultra powerful, easy to use, optional parts included are extremely useful and a good value.
I'm guilty of this being my 2nd power washer, because like many people, I believed a $120 electric unit could get the job done. My 2000psi SunJoe unit has been reliable and is probably enough for 99% of the people in the world, but I needed more. Wanted more. Demanded more from my power washer. The Generac 7122 has answered those wants and needs with PSI to spare. I have a very large deck area, concrete and wood, plus a stucco home that's light-gray in color and has not been cleaned since the late 90's. The Generac made quick work of my decks, especially w/the power broom attachment. Siding and concrete got blasted clean as new with the turbo nozzle attachment - it works well as a de-weeding device too for small plants that pop up in concrete seams; they get obliterated into dust by this thing. I've connected a foam cannon to wash my vehicles as well, and the difference it makes in foaming the soap is ridiculous - the electric power washer made a thin layer of foam that was workable, but the Generac creates a blizzard of marshmallow foam using the same soap and same cannon, just at much higher PSI and water flow. The gas engine sips gasoline. I blasted away an entire afternoon's worth of grime - 4-5hrs worth- on a single tank of gas, and the tank itself is pretty tiny. I was shocked at how efficient the little engine actually is. It's super convenient not having to worry about electrical wires too, just the hosepipe is your limiting factor on where you can place this unit. It's pretty heavy, so I wouldn't recommend it for elderly or petite people, but otherwise this unit kicks serious rear end. I plan to use this power washer a minimum of twice monthly year 'round to wash my cars, so I'll post a follow up report IF there's anything else to report. So far so good after 4 uses.

Great machine.
Bought this about 4 months ago and briefly used it just to clean the sidewalk. Waited until I had a chance to really use it before I reviewed it. Well today I used it 7 hours straight. This machine is well worth the money. Started right up with just a couple pulls. Best features are the adjustable pressure knob on the wand. Let’s you dial it up or down on the fly. The walk way/drive way attachment works excellent and is a lot easier than the wand. That is one of the reasons I bought this one so I didn’t have to buy a separate one. Braided hose never kinked and man does this thing have power. Only negative is I wish they would make one with a foot stirrup to hold the machine when you are pulling the starting cord. Not a big enough deal to lower my rating. Great machine.

A good all around cleaner with a few minor issues.
I've had this for several months now. I honestly wanted a 3100+ PSI but missed a deal and got this one at a great price. Overall i'm very pleased. It sets up quickly and runs well. Power is good and the adjust on the handle wheel is awesome. The hose is somewhat annoying as it doesn't flex well so storing is not great. The turbo tool is the absolute best but the foam sprayer not so much. So, it won't cut a brick in half but it can still do some damage, which in my case is may be a good thing.

Generac. Need I say more? Excellent pressure washer.
Very exceptional pressure washer. Came packaged very well. Easy set up. I used it right after I put oil in it. Washed the house and deck. 2900 psi was plenty for home owner use. It was so enjoyable to use that I actually lost track of time. I been planning to buy a good pressure washer for the last couple years. I have been through two electric pressure washers in that time. Being a small engine mechanic I gave it a thorough look through and was pleased that everything was as it should be. Highly recommend this Generac pressure washer. ***UPDATE*** I have used this pressure washer a total of 14 hours so far. Not one hiccup of a problem. I'm still loving this machine. I even talked my father in law into getting one and he loves it as well. You will not be disappointed. *** UPDATE #2 *** It’s now September 9th. I have used this pressure washer a total of 84 hours. Just finished our back deck and thought about how much I still love this pressure washer. Starts on the first pull, still using the original hose. Anyways, if you decide on buying this machine just keep this in mind. If you take care of it, it will take care of you. **UPDATE #3** I have had this pressure washer a few days shy of a year & it’s still going strong. Zero problems. I did change out the oil to AMSOIL last October. ( check out WWW. Allied Synthetics USA & ask about the preferred customer account to save up to 25-30% off retail.) I still love this pressure washer. As of today I have 144 hours on this machine. Keep up with your maintenance and this pressure washer will last a long time.

A Few 2017 Updates Put This Pressure Washer On Top!
If you are looking good for a pressure washer for use around your home, look no further! The Generac Speedwash 6882 has to be the best sub-3000 psi pressure washer I've ever used. Shipping/packaging: The pressure washer shows up in the Generac box with product all over it. If you are concerned about theft, you may want to be home for delivery. Mine shipped a day late, but it was supposedly a carrier issue. It ships without oil in the unit, which I appreciated since USPS left the box laying sideways on my front porch. Assembly: Extremely easy. Just unbox, attach the handle, hose storage hook, and wand holder. Then use the provided paper funnel to fill the engine with the included oil. The oil comes in this cool little pouch like a big manly Capri Sun and it was the perfect amount to fill the reservoir. Operation: I was able to test the variable pressure on the wand along with the 2 fan tips on a dirty painted deck. It started in 2 pulls and purred like a kitten. There's enough of a frame lip to hold it down with your toe as you pull start it and it doesn't take much effort at all. The variable pressure proved to be incredibly helpful. I had the wood deck setting selected for the majority of the deck but I could knock out stubborn stains by cranking it up to the concrete (full pressure) setting. Being able to change pressure on the wand was incredibly convenient. Connecting and disconnecting the hoses was very easy with large plastic knobs on each screw fitting. The high pressure hose is another benefit over most competitors. It is incredibly flexible and easy to unravel and put up. Ergonomics: The large wheels make it very easy to roll around. Its 57 lb weight makes it very manageable to move it up and down stairs. The inverted throttle handle seemed weird to me until I started using it. I had no hand fatigue at all in the 30 minutes I ran it. Customer service: Generac has a live chat on their website which I've used several times to ask about this washer. They are very responsive and helpful and I get the sense that they stand behind their products and would definitely help with any product issues. Additional items worth considering: 12" longer lance for taller people or reaching high spots. The Wen brand pressure washer cover sold on amazon is a great fit and will keep the dust off of your new precious toy. Generac power broom for larger surfaces. Summary: I'm typically very critical of my tools but I'm having a hard time finding anything wrong with this pressure washer. It's portable, it's solid, and the pressure adjustment wand is awesome. It comes with the necessary nozzles plus some and the customer service is great. I will update my review after testing the rest of the attachments on a few more applications around the house. Feel free to ask me questions!

Top Notch Power Washer with Turbo Nozzle
Bought Generac 6882 about 2 weeks ago and just completed the first oil change after 5 hrs of use. I experienced none of the issues others have reported like heavy vibration, hard starting, hose blowing a hole, wheel breaking off, etc. The most important feature of this power washer is the turbo nozzle since many engine models don't come with it and that provides the necessary scrubbing power we need here in Houston to get a concrete driveway in the woods clean again. I also didn't have any trouble with oil spilling inside the box upon delivery even though it was shipped by UPS and spent much of its time on the side instead of upright. I would agree that they really should use better packaging for UPS shipping since the vendor packaging is good for a store shelf but not really for shipping... but what do you expect for free Prime shipping on Amazon. My unit had little visible packaging damage on the outside and the machine was pristine inside the box. Granted it only traveled from Dallas to Houston so a short trip. The engine started right up but did smoke tremendously for a few minutes. I'm sure that was just oil burning off inside the cylinders since the manufacturer almost certainly left some oil in there to prevent rusting--that's just good extended storage practice for any internal combustion engine. The unit does have a few minor inconveniences like the water hose and high pressure hose connections being too close together and some of the plastic trim pieces being a bit flimsy. But I have no doubt with a little TLC this washer can last many, many years of residential use. And I also don't share the complaints about the oil drain hole or filler (there are two options) being hard to access. These are pretty well layed out as far as small homeowner engine-driven appliances go (better than many from a few years ago.) There is also no risk of overfilling the oil since it will overflow if you try, as long as the unit is on a flat surface. It takes about 16 oz, my only complaint that the owner's manual doesn't tell you the oil volume required. So now you know!
