Great sounding bowl and excellent customer service

The bowl I received was well made, packaged very nicely, and looked clean and pretty. I actually received one with the tone sounding 'off' or not nice to listen too. I talked to the seller who sent me another one to replace it free of charge and after going through yet another issue with the second bowl, the seller again tried to resolve the issue for a third time and was successful. The biggest things is that the bowls are very nice and the customer service was quick to respond and was outstanding. Very pleased with the product and the service. The bowl looks clean and not cheaply made. There are no weird smells that you sometimes find with metal items being shipped from places especially in the heat and if there was ever moisture but there was not any issue with that. The sound is easy to make also and the pillow the bowl sits on is really cute and looks very nice. Overall the quality is very good for this price and if I need any more I would buy again from here.

Best quality, beautiful hammered handmade bowl set

Wow! What a beautiful singing bowl set! I am SO HAPPY! The bowl is so unique as it is hammered, which is the original way of making the singing bowls. Each bowl has a very unique one of a kind look to it. Each bowl will be different, as they are all handmade. The pillow (which was found wrapped up inside of the bowl, if you don't see it right away) is so very beautiful and it is very well made and with nice material. The pillow is nice for displaying your bowl and for putting your bowl on the pillow as you play it it; or you can play the bowl in the palm of your hand, just making sure that your palm is flat and do not let your fingers touch around the bowl as it will mute and distort the sound. The mallet is made of nice and very sturdy wood, it has the the felted end for the "tapping" of the top edge of the bowl (felted as to not harm the bowl when tapping) and the other end is a wider continuation of the wood (for going around the he rim to make the bowl sing). It is a nice size as it fits nicely in the palm of the hand. It has such a beautiful, harmonious and enticing sound quality and it really works. When I am using the bowl, without the pillow, I can feel the vibrations from the bowl. When I am using the bowl, I use the "tapping" to get others attention, to signal a start, or a change of session and an end to a session. I use the "singing" of the bowl for mindfulness, meditation and harmonious vibrational energy. This would also be a great purchase for yoga, meditation, self awareness time and more. I am so very happy with my purchase. I highly reccomend this bowl!! I look forward to using it for many, many years to come! Silent mind also has a great customer service as they sent me an email first and foremost making sure that I knew my bowl was on the way. I then received another email making sure that I did in fact receive my bowl and making sure that I was happy with my purchase. They are concerned on making you happy, I really liked that and made me feel special. In the email they sent me it included an attachment with information on how to use the bowl, how to take care of the bowl, the many uses for it, the intentions behind it , the history behind the bowl, gives you tips on uses and much more. I really appreciated their customer service and me not feeling like I am just another "sell" for them. I am SO very happy with my purchase. Would give 10 stars if I could!

It is clear this company cares deeply about their work. Their customer service is impeccable, exceeding any normal expectation, and the bowl itself is just beautiful. If you are looking for this product in the first place, let's be real... you are looking for "certain qualities". The sound and feel from this bowl have what you are seeking, and personally I do not feel that degree of positive transference will come through if it is not produced with positive intention and love in the first place. There are many "pretty" bowls. I have several myself. This one carries with it the Universal frequency of love, peace, and balance. If you are looking for more than eye candy or simple décor, I recommend this bowl highly. Namaste.

She really sings!

Singing bowl is awesome! I first came across this item while visiting a cousin in Hawaii. I instantly got one for meself. This specific bowl is a good starting size for newbies! It sings good and drives away the bad juju! It also help my concentration relaxation moments! We use it around the house when we are trying to deescalate from a super hardcore busy day! And we get busy! There is a little bit of a learning curve to get singing bowls to sing - a well known secret is to gently knock at the side of the bowl first then start your rotations! Keep at it until you hear a small howl and then according to your grip and pressure - you can turn the small howl into a shrill voice and then make it a gentle soprano! I love it! It helps people around me relax and it helps me with my breathing and meditation time! I highly recommend this brand and this specific item to anyone interested in maximizing their reflection, meditation, breathing time. Maybe next time I wanna get a larger size.

You Can't Go Wrong With This Company!!

First of all, I LOVE my singing bowl and had no trouble getting it to sing the very first time. I did a LOT of research and read all the reviews about singing bowls from a lot of companies on the internet, on a number of different websites. I decided to purchase my first bowl from Silent Mind specifically because of the customer service everyone raved about. Silent Mind has not disappointed. Within a week of receiving my bowl I got an email asking me if I was happy, if I had any questions or concerns that they could address. I was more than impressed!

Worth every penny!

This singing bowl is wonderful! I actually bought it as a gift for my boyfriend, because he saw one on vacation and mentioned it. He loves it... but so does the whole family! He uses it every day after work, but I've used it a bunch of times as well... even my daughter loves trying to make it "sing"! It's super relaxing, and the craftsmanship is excellent. It's just a beautiful bowl. My pictures do not do this item justice. If you're in the market for one of these, look no further... you will NOT be disappointed.

Mindclearing and beautiful!

I am a massage therapist and admitidly ordered this as a pretty decoration for my massage room. Once I received it, I realized how much more this beautiful item is... I have "tested" it on two clients already- both going through issues in their personal life (and as many of us know mental pain transfers over to real physical pain). I told them to hold out their hand flat, palm up. I then placed the pot on their palm. I showed them how to hold the stick (sorry I can't remember it's technical name). I explained that they are going to make the pot sing by transferring their energy as they firmly but steadily circled the pot with the stick. Both clients became a bit frustrated about 5 seconds in because it was doing nothing. With a soothing and encouraging voice, I told them to relax, take a deep breath, and concentrate only on transferring their energy to make the pot sing. Oh the elation when they succeeded!!!!! So Cool!!!!!!!!!! Both clients were AMAZED at how while doing this, they were so focused- They both stated that their minds were cleared. When we clear our minds we find a sense of peace! What a gift' What a fun little way to start a great session!!!
