Very nice set! But if this is a gift, open the box and roll and gift wrap them as I did.

The only thing I didn't like is that the placemats came with absolutely no information! Just a small generic sticker, a product code or something like that, on flat cellophane. Because this was a gift for my daughter, I really wanted her to see everything these placemats have to offer, but there was literally nothing. The description and photos on Amazon were very informative and nicely done... It was the ad that sold me on them, but my daughter didn't have any of this information; no photos and nothing read. I told her about what they were, but it took away from how nice of a gift it really was... To make it better, I took them out of the flat cellophane package they came in and rolled them like it's shown in the picture and put a little scotch tape to hold the roll. Then I used a shirt size box to put them in so they would look nicer when she open it. This made them at least look more like the picture on Amazon. Again, though, not having the product information and photos, didn't do anything for the product. The placemats are very nice, but you wouldn't know it unless you saw Amazon's add.

Great quality washable placemats

Love these placemats - perfect choice for my kitchen decor. They clean with a quick swipe of a dishcloth and are well-made. Note that the placemats look different when seeing them from different angles (see pics).

Awesome. It changes colors when you look at diferant Angles. Don't buy it if you don't want that. We cut the corners round with sissors. Doesn't fray. They are plastic. So you can clean them. They are flexible and you can roll them up if you want.

Perfect placemats

This placemats are great. They look nice and are sturdy enough for my 2 year old. Exactly as pictured. Easy to clean. I had cloth ones and they never looked right after washing. Buy these!

I was concerned these might not look as nice as our cloth placemats

I was concerned these might not look as nice as our cloth placemats. I was wrong! They are lovely on the table and clean up Very easily! Liquids just sort of pool on the top (would probably soak through eventually), so there is plenty of time to mop up spills before they end up on the table.

They were a great price and almost exactly what I was looking for

They were a great price and almost exactly what I was looking for. (The color isn't as I expected but I think it's more the lighting in my dining room). We often have friends for dinner (family of 6) and added to our family of 6 it's nice to have matching placemats at a good price. They really don't slide on the table once plates are on them. They are super easy to clean too and I think they will last us a long time. Often times when cleaning placemats the coloring wipes off and stains remain. With this material I don't believe that will occur.

Looks quite nice

The fairly coarse weave and sheen of the material look similar to artificially colored natural materials ... does not look like plastic. Haven't had them long enough to really judge durability, but they look well made.

Look great, work well with spills - clean up is a breeze.

These placemats look great, are easy to clean and I’m very pleased with them. Not sure how durable they will be long term (I’ve only had them on the table for a few weeks), but so far they seem like they will stand the test of time.

slippery but nice. I like the looks but dam the things move around on a table. I have a nice dark wood table that i prefer to use with out a table cloth to show off the wood. these complement the table wonderfully, looking really great. but they do move around a lot. I think I need something to put between these and the table to hold them in place.

Very Nice! No Creases!

My placemats just arrived. I love the colors. They look great for a great price! Some previous comments said they came rolled up or with a crease that took a couple days to get out, but mine came flat. No creases! I definitely recommend!
