No issues for me!
I noticed several other users had connectivity issues with the Bluetooth. I did not. I used this on an iPad pro. The clips adjust to fit the size of whatever tablet you're using. Once you've connected it, it's easy enough to use. I know the iPad will remove the on screen keyboard for you once you have a Bluetooth keyboard connected. I don't know about other tablets because I haven't tried it on them. I could go out and buy an assortment of them to test it, but, well, I'm not going to do that as much as I like tech toys (although maybe I could get a bunch and mine cryptocurrencies with them). Anyway, back to the keyboard. So what do I look for in a keyboard? Here's a list: 1. Connectivity: Check (at least for me) 2. Key Spacing: Check. It's easy to type on this thing. 3. Battery: Check, although not as long as other keyboards I've used, I haven't had a problem. 4. Cover for tablet: Check, it folds up and protects the tablet. I wouldn't test this by throwing it at your driveway, but considering I just spilled my Coke Zero and it protected my iPad, it did the job. And it still works. Win-win. 5. Price: Check. This costs less than half of some of the keyboards out there and basically functions the same. Overall: I haven't had a problem with it. If I do, I'll let you know. I know a bunch of other reviewers had issues. I just didn't run into those.

Better than Expected
My iPad Air 2 has been an almost perfect tablet for me for the past several years. It gets used hours a day while I work from my desk, easy chair or when I am out and about. I used to think that typing on the screen with my thumbs worked well enough. Boy was I wrong! This Logitech Universal Folio is EXCELLENT. Now that I have used it I am never going back. It may not be for everyone however. Here are both the good and the bad of my experience so far... STRENGTHS - The typing is spot-on. Seriously the keys are properly spaced for comfortable and fast typing. The distance the keys travel when pressed is near perfect and has a feel simular to the best keyboards I used to use back in the desktop era. - Bluetooth connection is reliable. Logitech says that it uses bluetooth 3.0 for a reliable connection. My experience has been just that. Once initially paired, the keyboard has automatically and immediately connected to my iPad every time. - The keyboard is light. While the Folio adds bulk to my iPad, it does not add much weight. A friend owns a slick keyboard case from another brand that weighs down his IPad making it feel like a brick. Not so with this Logitech. The weight is very marginal. - Works well on the lap. This is one of the few keyboards which actually does feel like the tablet is converted to a true laptop. I can type comfortable on my lap, desk or just about anywhere without feeling like my device needs to be propped or secured in any way. - No charging needed. There is a watch type battery in the keyboard which Logitech says will last years. How great not to have another gadget to plug-in and charge. - Short-cut keys. I can control much of iOS without having to touch the screen. There is a home button, volume controls and various shortcuts that just work out of the box with my iPad. I can even control my music directly from the keyboard. Great! - Intuitive closing mechanism. One final strength to mention is how the keyboard Folio closes. When the Folio is open and in use, the top part of the clamshell is secured in place by a couple of tabs which insert into the lower half. These tabs automatically disconnect when you simply close the folio like you would a laptop. In other words, when done typing simply close the top "lid" and it automatically and smoothly disconnects and tucks itself away just as it should. NEGATIVES - A little too bulky. While the folio is lighter than most, it is a little large and bulky. The great thing is that the Folio is universal and will indeed fit dozens of different tablets whether Windows, Android or Apple. The down-side in being universal is that the Folio is a little larger than it needs to be for my streamlined IPad Air 2. I see that Logitech has a folio that is specific for my iPad model. I think I will check that one out. - The strap to keep it shut is inconvenient. True to the name "Folio" the keyboard is kept shut by an elastic strap when not in use (see photos). I would rather there be a type of latch or tension to keep the clamshell closed when not in use. Perhaps others will like this feature but it is not for me. The Universal Folio from Logitech is much better than I expected. For me, this keyboard is indispensable. I am not sure how I managed without it. As confirmation, I typed this review with ease from my recliner. Before it would have taken nearly three times longer and with much more frustration. I am so glad I am no longer forced to type on a screen with my thumbs! If you are in the market for a keyboard for your tablet, buy this one. The strengths of the keyboard far outweigh the couple of negatives. Well done Logitech!
