A modern electric kettle

Received this tea kettle really fast. Stylish and modern. Pros: -Has temperature controls. -Heats the water up really quickly. -Can keep the water at the desired temp for up to 2 hours. -Easy to clean. -Brushed metal look fits in very well with other appliances. Cons -None that I can think of Would recommend. My older chefschoice kettle cost me more and doesn't have the temperature controls. So far this kettle is pretty awesome.

Two hour warmer, Good price, Sleek design and other features.

3rd electric cordless teapot. 1st one was ceramic. Heating element burned out in 2 months. 2nd one was a stainless steel ugly pot! Redid kitchen so wanted something to blend in. Looked at many and decided on this one for a number of reasons. 1. The price was a fair price. 2. Exterior design was nice. 3. Great features and most importantly for me was the 2 hour warmer. It is the first one I have found with it and I have looked!

Great Electric Kettle

We had purchased another brand of kettle prior to this one. But the chemical smell/taste was horrible. We returned it. The reviews on this kettle indicated a high level of customer satisfaction so we ordered it as a replacement. It is perfect. The temperature options are great and the water has no taste imparted to it by the kettle, which is IMPORTANT. It also looks great on the counter. Since we use it all the time, that's important too. Highly recommend you look no further and just purchase this high quality electric kettle.

I've had this kettle for a little while now and I must say it works very well. It was comparatively cheap for a variable temperature kettle, and it has not disappointed me in its speed or accuracy. The only slight complaint I have is that there is no audible way of knowing when the water is ready. My other kettle made a popping sound and I know that other products have an audible indication. The lack of this feature means that you have to watch the kettle to see when it is done. It's an inconvenience, but I work my way around it by using the keep warm function which insures that the water will remain hot until I get to it.

I love this kettle!

This is a stylish well executed appliance! The sellers were prompt and it came well packaged. It has several different temperature settings which is nice because if your drink isn't hot enough you don't enjoy it as much, but then if you reheat it in the microwave it can get too hot. Now I know the temperature of my water. I like having the ability to control that. Also the kettle fits on to a base so it can be taken to another area of the kitchen without the hassle of dragging the cord with you. It looks nice on my counter and I look forward to using it every day!

Good-looker; works fine

One of the best lookers and at a reasonable price. Find that to get it to start I have to hit the 212 degree marker twice instead of the start button -- but it's endured ever since. Everyone and everything is entitled to a little eccentricity. Seems to get to the boil pretty fast.

Love love love!!!! I am a very big tea drinker and I have been looking for an electric kettle like this one for awhile. So glad I bought it!! This kettle is so easy to use, just select and press a button and your kettle is brewing at the perfect temperature. This kettle heats up so quickly. I also love the swivel base which makes it easy for us leftys or my right handed wife to pick up. I love the keep warm option so I can have multiple cups without waiting. It looks great on my countertop too!

So far I am very pleased with my purchase. I like that it is stainless steel. Happy with keep warm function. Update: I didn't use kettle for 5 days and left it open. When I tried to use it this morning it was difficult to turn on. By pressing button quickly about 5 times it started. Now it is working as expected. I think the takeaway is don't leave kettle open if you aren't going to use it for several days. Will not change star rating. Remain pleased with purchase.

Excellent kettle with very well-designed controls

I purchased this for my father, whose eyesight isn't the best, and whose hearing sometimes missed the tea kettle whistle (not much of a whistle on a lot of those, anyway.) The primary reason for choosing this particular one over others was the design of the controls, which are large, accessible, and easy to read with high contrast between the bright white lettering and the black buttons. Kudos for the commonsense design - most kettles aren't so blessed. It has worked absolutely perfectly, and has provided some peace of mind to me, as we'd burned out a tea kettle once already by forgetting about it. The various timer functions and heat settings offer just enough to customize its use without becoming burdensome. The design is very intuitive. The only thing I would seek to redesign somehow is to make it a little easier to center on the base - I tend to have to fish for the right placement. A stop on the backside of the charging base would aid things greatly in that regard. It is by no means difficult to place, just not as easy as it could be. We've been very pleased with this purchase.
