A bit more pricey than it should be. I like the conceal ability and the functionality.

This CB radio works perfectly for the Jeep JLU which has very limited space in the main cabin. The brains for this radio were installed behind the glovebox while the antenna was mounted on the tailgate. Overall, TX/RX has been very good. Range with 3' is excellent. Purchased a 4' in the event that it was necessary. Sound quality is excellent both TX/RX. I would recommend this CB. Antenna mounting was sourced through Quadratec.

Great easy to program and good on long range

Great radio, fit my Prius perfectly, though it was a bit low volume from the microphone speaker. That has been on every radio I've had similar to this type of radio. I purchased an external speaker and issue cleared. I have had this radio for a while now and would recommend it..

Just like listing. Small easy to conceal and with the fire stick antenna really reaches out. My choice over the Cobra

Took off a star because it did not come with a 12v lighter / utility plug. Great form factor and very small. Works well and has good sound quality. Will buy another for my RV and another for my truck. Cable is quite long and everything is controlled from your hand. Squelch takes a bit to figure out and the instructions are a waste of paper.

I liked the Cobra, but I found the diplay hard to read and the PTT button difficult to activate so I decided to try Bearcat. This thing has really impressed me. The mic is so much easier to use, see, and manipulate. Something I wasn’t expecting was the vastly better audio thru the ext Jack. I always use an external speaker and the difference in volume and definition compared to the 75 is quite noticeable. So far it’s a winner. Another trick I tried that seems to work well is I bought 10’ cat7 extension cable for the mic (it’s and 8 pin rj45 type) and it’s worked well. I wanted the mic hanging from my center roof area rather than lower dash. The included ext cable was not long enough for that area. I have the control box near glove box and ran the cable thru my “A”pillar. It’s a very tidy package now. I’ll attach pics soon. Only downside is the cable and connector are not the rugged type of setup you find on other radios.

Excellent radio. Low maintenance with superb audio emanating from the hand-held mic.

So I had both the Cobra 75wx st and this Uniden CMX 760. Hands down the Uniden is the better radio. Better noise filters. Less static. An awesome Weather Alert setting that alerts when a severe weather warning is issued just like a home weather radio will. Cool Background colors. Reception is very clear. Transmission I’m told is clear. There is no static between Rx/Tx. I’ve never used a ham radio so I can’t compare but this is as good as it gets from an AM radio. I have a Jeep and SWR 1.3 on CH1 and 1.0 on 40 and 1.0 on 20 with a 3ft firestick antenna and RG8x coax. The only negative is the speaker isn’t loud enough with top down and windows out. But there is an accessory speaker plug which I will take advantage of shortly.

This is my second one of these, I had the cobra 75 wx st before and have had nothing but problems with it. It's even been sent in for warranty because the cable and wires literally all the instillation came off of them. I'll never buy anything that says cobra on it again. The uniden is built better, works and all the buttons illuminate.
