So far so good, wire is protected...

I know the headline here is vague, and I chose 5 stars for the review but... I’m not sure these little protectors will stay on the charger wires for my iPad. Like I said, so far so good it’s been at least 2 weeks and the protectors have stayed on my wire at both ends. So what’s the catch? When I first assembled these, one set of white pieces did not work so I used another set and these have worked and stayed on over 2 weeks. I feel I got a good price for 10 protectors too. I will update in a month or two.

A few pennies for this after-market strain relief saves your $5+ lightning cable

Why oh why is that trillion-dollar US company that makes the iPhones incapable of putting an adequate strain relief on their cables? These fit only the genuine Apple cables and other cables with tiny, weak and worthless strain-reliefs. It seems to be a case where "cute" has outweighed "practical". But these neat little devices will save your $5+ cable. Note that these do NOT work on most Amazon Basics cables -- and you don't need them because the Amazon cables have adequate strain relief. But they won't fit in this device. Which is fine, because you won't need these for your Amazon cables.

they are very good for the price

Keeping in mind that these come to less than a dollar each, they are very good for the price. They fit snuggly on my ORIGINAL Apple charger cords without slipping down. Once they are snapped into place it is difficult to unsnap to adjust ( I didn't try very hard, I was just looking to see if they might fall off) They were too tight for an off brand cord and didn't completely snap into place but a drop of super glue and it's good to go.
