Go ahead and buy.
My wife loses lense covers all the time so these were a no brainer. I wouldn’t use the adhesive pads that come with it. Take the time to thread the lanyard through the hole on the lense. You will know exactly what I’m talking about when you open the box. Great value. Works very well will buy again next time she loses another cap.

Value X2
Looking at the photos on Amazon I thought they looked cheap. After getting them I still think they look cheap, BUT they are NOT! They cling to my lens cap like there's no tomorrow. I lifted the entire camera using the cap just to see how strong it grips. Very impressive. Forget about using the adhesive pads and just run the little loop thru the hole in the cap. The elastic noose keeps the cap securely. Attaching the cap, or removing it is a snap. Just pinch the outside, not the inside, indents. Easy So if looks are important then search elsewhere. If a reliable, low cost cap is what you want I would choose this model. And you get 2 in a package!

Great replacement cap for my Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary lens.
As I am somewhat careless on what I do with lens caps when I remove them, I misplaced my cap for my Sigma 150-600mm lens. I do not always put the cap on (opting to depend on the installed hood instead) when I may need it for quick shots. Of course, I misplaced and could not find my lens cap for the past couple of months. I wanted to store it but couldn't do so in its carrying case. Well, I found this 2-fer deal and jumped right on it. What did I like about it? 1) INEXPENSIVE! - Beats the $30 replacement from Sigma 2) You get TWO! 3) Lens cap keepers in which its cord loops onto a small hole in the cap so that it is secured without a sticker that inevitably wear out and fall off the cap. Note that the hole does ** not** go through to the lens side of the cap, so the lens is isolated from it. 4) Fits and stays on much BETTER than the original Sigma cap! What I don't like about it? 1) I can't find anything wrong with it. 2) I have the potential of losing the second cap (but that's my issue !) No rating for adhesion for nothing to stick on.

Never lose a lens cap again
Exactly what i was looking for. The caps fit my 40.5mm lenses, and now I don't need to worry about dropping or losing the caps. The straps have adhesives on them to let you stick it to the caps on any part you'd like. Then the strap's bands stretch to wrap around your lens and hold somewhat snugly, enough so that they won't easily slip off. Worth the price.

No more lost lens caps
What I really like about these lens caps is the elastic lens cap keeper. No more misplaced lens caps in jacket or pants pockets, or in the bottem of "which bag." These lens caps fit - but tightly and it takes a little patience. Once on, you can be sure if you throw your camera in a bag as I do, or wear it during an active afternoon, it is protected. Be sure and read the fitting instructions before ordering. I'm using the cap on a Lumix micro pancake lens.

Works on Canon M Series
The picture of it sticking to the front of the cap is misleading as no adhesive is provided. I spent 5 minutes untying the and ran the string through the holes on the side. The strap fits the lens fine. I was afraid I would have to tie it with the camera strap and may have to do that if the lens strap stretches out and doesn't stay around the lens. For the price, it does what it is supposed to do and the only recommendation to them is to ship the string unknotted.

Fits tightly and the strap is pretty good.
The lens cap works as advertised. Fits tightly and the strap is pretty good. You have to undo the little piece of plastic with the adhesive strip in order to run the cord through the lens cap though, at first I thought you had to use the adhesive, which I don't like as I had another replacement lens cap years ago that was attached in this method and the adhesive ended up failing after a few years.

Works for TG-5 with Lens Adapter
Got this for my Olympus TG-5 with the CLA-T01 Conversion Lens Adapter. The 40.5 mm fits perfectly, and it doesn't pop out with pressure (unlike the BlueBeach cap I tried first). My lens adapter came with a lens cap, but I immediately lost it while climbing all over a bunch of rocks at Perdenales Falls, TX. So I needed one with a string. This does the job. Don't bother with the sticker - just run the string through the hole in the side. I used a different, sturdier looking string from an old camera, but the included one should work fine. It's a tiny hole, but an easy solution was to tie some fishing line to the camera string first, push the fishing line through the hole, then pull it on through.

Easily stays on lens, even with jostling.
Recently bought a Sony A-series for street photography, which means I carry the camera in a regular bag almost every day. This lens cap stayed in place despite regular jostling —and— stayed fastened while I shot on a farm with baby goats climbing all over me and the camera. It’s inexpensive and gets the job done.

I never have to worry about my wife losing anther lens cap
This works great! My wife seems to have a habit of losing my lens caps when she is using the camera. I have bought replacements before but she has always lost them. When I came across this I had to give it a try since it had the lens cap keeper with it and I get two so I figure if she was to lose the first one I already have a back up lol. After taking the camera out a few times with her using it we still have the same camera lens :) Also the cap fits our Olympus perfect so I'm not worried about it coming loose and the lens getting scratched in the bag. If/when I buy more lens caps for my other lenses this will be my first choice.
