I have used this product over two winters now (replaced annually), in a covered boat and the results are amazing. It significantly reduces the moisture held inside the boat (under the cover) and absolutely reduces mold and mildew growthy. I will continue to use this product to reduce the annual Spring mold/mildew clean-up work, when the boat comes out of storage. I have used scented and non-scented and the scented version is nice and not too strong.

A life saver. Using it in cat litter areas and area where pets have had accidents, frequent accidents. Maybe they aren't accidents...maybe it's rebellion? Anyway--this stuff is great and makes the area habitable again. Excellent also in rooms that stay damp..anywhere in the basement for example.

I loaded my car FULL of my belongings and left it at my work parking lot and evacuated to another office building. Once the storm passed, the car just sat out in the middle of the parking lot being baked by the NC sun day in and day out for 2+ weeks while I was away. Came back and was REALLy concerned that I put too much faith in this product to keep the moisture at bay as well as the odors from the various things stored in the car. Worry was unwarranted and my car didn't feel or smell like it had been soaked by a hurricane. Sure, it needed to be aired out, but this product sucked the moisture out of the car and trapped it. 100% recommend and may just keep one in the car all the time.

This actually works. I bought 2 of these for 1000 square feet of space after my basement was flooded. Within one week the musty odor was gone. This gives off a sweet smell. There is nothing to do except take off the plastic cover. They are as advertised: high capacity. Because they are a super size, they work faster than the smaller containers.

We use it in our trailer when it’s not in use. We live in a very humid area and it helps to keep the trailer smelling good and mold free. We also had a mold problem in our hauler truck because it haven’t been in use for a while. After we detailed it and got rid of the small amount of mold that had spawned on the ceiling, the smell was still apparent. We used one of these guys inside the truck cab and it got rid of the smell in a day. Now we keep one in that truck to. Great product if you love somewhere very humid for keeping the trailer of truck cab mold free and smelling fresh

These are fantastic desiccant tubs. We use them in a couple of cars that are driven infrequently and in the RV. I prefer these to the refillable type that I also use because of the spill proof design. We spilled the liquid out of one of the other style and it was nearly impossible to clean up. I will buy again when the current ones get used up.

I've read reviews on how strong this smells. I am not having that problem. I noticed the scent when I first opened it, but I was expecting it to be a long term smell. Not at all. I set this in my basement and the crystals have hardened, but there is no liquid in there yet. According to the directions this means it's working. I've noticed a few percentage points drop in the moisture, but not all that much. Still anything is an improvement, and I would purchase again.

We put these buckets in our dirt crawlspaces every six months and they work great. Our exterminator found out about them from us and told us he started recommending them because keeping moisture down helps keep down some types of bugs. This was my first purchase of the "fresh scent" ones and the scent was strong enough I put the buckets in the garage until we had time to swap them out in the crawlspaces. Works great for our application and I would buy these again but I wouldn't put them in a closet or something you use everyday unless you don't mind strong smells. (In all honesty we don't use much scented stuff so maybe I'm just not used to it)

I was going to purchase my second dehumidifier for the basement and decided to save money and try Damp Rid instead. It worked and no second dehumidifier needed. Damp Rid significantly reduced the musty smell in the basement and is absorbing the moisture in the air after our wet fall. I chose the light scent one and found it to be unnoticeably, which is a good thing. Not over powering at all. I already ordered two more to have on hand for the next season so I’ll be ready to replace the ones I’m using now.

I had a a double layered wood shake roof in SoCal , recently replaced. There was NO PLYWOOD under, so a lot of that wood debris got into the attic. While not a SERIOUS moisture issue, and the fact I live in the valley, there was still a must oder. My house is about 1475 without the garage. I read a few great reviews and figured why no try these . I got 2 X 4lb buckets, placed one by the HVAC and on on the other side of the attic. WOW Amazed. The musty oder has gone away. I am VERY HAPPY with this project!
