I purchased the eversprout to pick Hawaiian oranges and this is perfect for it. The telescope pole allows me to reach the high fruit easily. The basket is the right size and the "forks" makes it easy to pulled the fruit. Overall, I'm super please with the product and the service of EVERSPROUT. I received the picker within three days and they also sent an email letting me know they appreciated the purchase and if there is any problems/questions to contact them. Very customer oriented, just like Amazon!,

This picker is great. I've used it for about a month to pick mangoes. First, it increases the harvest by allowing me to puck fruit from the top of the tree. Figure at least 25% increase in yield. It's a sturdy tool. Basket is attached by a hose clamp and it remains solidly attached . The pole extends a long way and will not slip. It's a great tool.

I just received my fruit picker, so I haven’t had a chance to use it yet, but I have to say that I am overall impressed. The box it came in was pretty beat up, so I was a bit worried, but upon opening the box, it became clear that this was a qualify product. I like the long handle which can be extended with ease. The basket had a nice pad in the bottom to prevent the fruit from being bruised when picked. I also liked the bag that came with it; nice to put picked fruit in. The only thing that has me concerned is the relatively short tynes on the basket. We’ll have to see how they work with apples! Otherwise, I am very pleased with this purchase, and would recommend this picker without hesitation.

Definitely a winner ! I do have a small Black Belt Project for improvement, if permitted to submit. Please consider adding a small rotational view finder for the hooks. In the image attached, it is the placement of the blue tape so that once the tool is fully extended, it is possible even when straight above your head to determine location of the hooks. Otherwise, from below, once fully extended, the basket looks just like a wire in the sky that allow fruit to slide in an out but not grab on the hooks. A 2nd suggestion would be to also add a tool with even longer hooks, this would be ideal for hard skinned fruits like Mango and Avocado. Thank you for a great tool ! EDIT: For those looking to extend this tool another few feet, consider these 2 Amazon links for a cost between $5 to $8 (Prime). This allows a simple screw-on extension to the last piece of the extension as it is a standard paint roller or broom screw thread. I have not used this yet as my figs and apricots are still getting ripe, but I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of this pole and the basket. The pole has two locking mechanisms for easy adjustment in multiple lengths as you extend the pole up higher and cushioned grips at the end and in the center of the pole The basket has a heavy vinyl coating and a nice foam "landing zone" pad to cushion the fruit as you pull it off of the tree. I will be excited to use this soon. A quality product which I will use for many years. Highly recommend.

Had been using an old metal pole saw to pick mangoes from a 30-40 foot tree. It was heavy, difficult to use, and dangerous when the large fruit came falling down. This is perfect. Very light, extends farther than the pole saw, and the basket to catch the fruit keeps anyone from getting knocked out. It is a little awkward to use at its full length, but that is to be expected. I am 5'2", 110 pounds, and able to use this just fine on my own. My 10 and 12 year old kids are able to use it as long as it is no more than half extended.

I went to all of our local stores and searched for a 20 foot picker, but most were 10 feet, made of wood, and heavy. (Already have one of those) As I've gotten older, found that picking mangos like before took a toll on my arms - picking mangos was def. a workout. With this lighter pole, I could hold 3 mangos in the basket and barely feel the weight (two were my limit before, and I'd be wobbling a bit...) I did have to work with the claws to make them a bit more user friendly, but I did that with the heavier picker too. Also because this is collapsible, without having to remove parts to make it so, takes up less space than my old one and very convenient to use. Though my first time using it was a bit worried the pole would bend under the weight or break, as it did feel very light and flimsy, but it does the trick without any undo weight. Really love this one, and have no intention of going back to the wooden ever.

A LOT if they have this picker! My husband and I have an Italian Plum tree in the backyard and we have struggled for years with ladders trying to get the fruit in the higher branches. My husband found this and we thought we would give it a try. It worked GREAT! The telescoping pole was very stable, even when extended, and it is a standard size so we can use other attachments with it. The basket also has a standard opening, so it will work with other poles. We made quick work of picking and were safe doing it!

We have a Hachiya Persimmon tree (for those of you who don't know, they are the soft kind). Every year after Halloween we look at this tree and dread the "harvest" time. We get the ladder out, climb the tree and reach all the fruits off the tree as best as we can (we even get our kids involved), we have a stick fruit picker (doesn't extend). Then there's the 20-30 fruits that are SO high, we look at them and say screw it, just let them fall. They don't fall nicely, they splat everywhere (big mess!) I just tried this on our last batch and boy, is this a GAME CHANGER! I'm about 5'0 and I was able to put it on the extender and reached the rest of the tree - standing on the ground! This contraction is a great idea and I am so glad I found it!

I love this fruit picker! In the past I had used one that was just two long handles joined together in the middle by a piece of metal. This one is far superior to the other kind. I love the telescoping function of the handle, it's so easy to use, you just flick over a lever and pull out however much extra height you need. I used this on my established crab-apple tree in my back yard (made some beautiful jelly) . I could reach every limb except for the uppermost branches, and those I could get to with just the addition of a stepladder. The tines on the fruit picker are close enough together where I had no problem getting any of the apples off my tree and some of the apples were about an inch to an inch and a half in diameter. All in all I'm very glad I bought this fruit picker, and I can see many uses for the handle sans the apple picker head with other attachments on it.
