High quality materials and works great!

Received this 12v dc charger in quick, and good fashion. Charged agm batteries at 12vdc, with no problem and much quicker than the original charger that came with mower. Product is high quality and does not get HOT, like some other chargers. Seems to be very accurate in charging stages. Highly recommend this merchant and product!

Great experience with this maintainer.

My car battery in the car I only drive about 2000 miles a year, weekend and sunny days, was barley turning over to start. Received my BMK charger fast and the hook up instructions with pictures were easy to follow and the stages of charging explained. My battery was 100% charged within 48 hours and the trickle charge is being applied.

Will get hot when charging. I put foil under it because i had it on carpet first!

Charger got pretty hot when charging deep cycle battery. But after charging completed. And went into trickle mode it was no longer hot. I like it so much i ordered a second one for mt ATV.... A1 charger. Buy buy buy. I wish the price would drop to $ 20.00. :)

Out performs Minnkota battery charger

Affordable, easy to use, protective covers so terminal ends don't touch, simple and effective. I used a Minnkota battery charger for my 2 marine batteries and did OK but lately it over heated and finally died. I researched this one and I am pleasantly surprised. Affordable and out performs others 3 times as much. It charges my batteries faster and complete, I'd definitely buy again. Excellent purchase.

Works just like it ought to!

This is a simple battery charger: small, easy to operate, easy to stow, and it does its job well. I like the fact that has a seaked case to protect its electronics that that makes it splash resistant. My only complaint, and it's a small one, the documentation doesn't make clear the difference what's being indicated by FLASHING LEDs and STEADY LEDs, though after a few minutes of use that becomes crystal clear. Thumbs up overall. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. This review is posted after just a couple of days use ib Group 31 and Group 24 batteries. Let's see how it works and holds up over the long haul! I'm optimistic.

constant current to at least 75% charge

Digital meter confirms 4.99A charging of a completely dead 18Ah battery, which not coincidentally specifies a 5A charging current! The charger supplied constant 5A current (changing voltage as needed) from dead (battery at 10V) to over 75% charged. Then the current tapered and dropped to zero as the no-load voltage approached 13V. And stayed at zero, as it should! (Be sure to remove charger and load, then let battery rest for a few minutes before measuring no-load voltage.) The only negative was that it ran warm. Not hot, but noticeably warm to the touch. So far good. RV batteries seem happy.

This has been a great charger to keep my RV batteries in tip top shape over the winter. I’d just like to see more indicators on these kind of devices like actual status of the battery and what phase the charger is in. But the lack of info is common on these kind of devices so it’s not a big deal. Hopefully it will last longer than the different branded one I bought before.

Easy solution to marine wiring problems

I used the charger to monitor the battery of a 4KW auxiliary diesel generator on my boat. To avoid any galvanic corrosion, the generator is isolated from the ships ground, so I cannot use the ships inverter to charge the generator's battery. It solves a problem, which would normally require rewiring my boat's battery systems. I just have to remember to turn it on when leaving the boat for more than two weeks.

Works very well on our farm equipment

I use these to keep the batteries up on our farm equipment, as there may be several days (or longer) between uses on some pieces. One tractor has several on-board computer modules that will draw a small amount of power continuously. This charger has performed very well on all of them. Only problem I had was that I forgot to remove it and drove into a frozen field - it fell of and I ran over it. Not a fault of the charger, just a case of stupid! Ordered two more!

Works great! Used it on a new battery and an older one. You can watch the difference in the way they accept a full charge and then how the charger maintains a full charge. Instructions are to the point and easy to understand.
