I bought one of these microwaves based on it being the size I needed, cost, its features well exceeding my needs, and customer reviews. Well, after one week the interior light stopped working and the turntable made a grinding sound when in operation. I contacted customer service and after submitting a video of the problems they unhesitatingly replaced the unit. Now THAT is what I call customer service and standing behind their product. I have now had the replacement microwave in service for about three weeks and it functions perfectly.

Turns out it's a great unit for the price

Was not sure how well this microwave would work since it was priced much lower then other ones. But my daughter needed one for her small apartment so I thought I would surprise her with this. Turns out it's a great unit for the price! It has plenty of room inside even though it's a small microwave, many options including pre-set buttons, defrost and her favorite button of all which is a must have 'popcorn', and she likes the style too which is definetly a plus. I'm glad I decided on this model for her.

Had concerns over reviews, they were unwarrented. Recommend, UH OH!

We bought the hOmeLabs 1500 watt MO to replace a 12 year old GE Profile that was still working. Uh Oh! Read P.S. at bottom for big problem. The GE seemed to be taking longer to heat things. And, it was! Our new microwave heats most things in about half the time. Be prepared for that and err on the side of too little time until you get used to it. We really like the handle rather than the push button. In doing research before the purchase, a number of reviewers had some complaints. We studied them as if they were the New Testament, or the Koran if you prefer, we're non-denominational. Most were justified but here is our take. Yes, the various buttons are somewhat harder to read than the GE. It took at least 3 days to remember where they are without our reading glasses, but admittedly, most of the time, we use the same few. Yes, the spot your push for the buttons is small and you have to push it firmly. It took about 3 days to grow accustomed to that. Yes, on our slate counter it scooted around a bit. We put stick-on rubber pads on the "feet". Mission accom...., well, ....done. One review mentioned the keypad developed bubbles soon after purchase, and that "no it wasn't a protective plastic sheet". The same happened to us. It was an almost invisible protective plastic sheet. Just saying. Yes, the door is louder, and it's louder when cooking than the 12 year old $250 GE. We can live with it, especially at the price. To summarize, we feel it was a terrific buy. We've been using it daily for over 2 months. Highly recommended and hoping this review will save others some time. We're retired! BOUGHT JAN 7. DEVELOPED RATTLING NOISE. Starting the process of getting help. I will post how much effort this takes, starting now. Late to post update. Homelabs customer service responded almost IMMEDIATELY. We found the one squeaky wheel on the turntable before any action was taken.

I really like this microwave

I really like this microwave. I didn't pay much attention to the dimensions, so it ended up being larger than I expected! It is pretty powerful. It cooks things much faster than our old microwave did. I also find the numerous buttons/settings very helpful. The microwave looks very modern and fits well with the stainless steel appliances in our kitchen.

Been using this microwave for 4 months and no issues so far. Cooks food very well and is the right size for my counter. Only complaint is the plug sticks out from the outlet making is very hard to plug in behind itself or another appliance. I thought the plug would be a flat plug that would drop down or sideways. I bought an outlet adapter which allows me to plug in sideways to avoid this nuisance.

Great Microwave

Have had this microwave for almost two months now and I love it. It's much quieter than my previous microwave and it works great. The push buttons do take a little getting used to, but once you know where to push, they are just fine. The door is very easy to open and close too. We've been closing it a little too hard, at least at the beginning because our previous microwave was harder to open and close, but this has not affected the microwave at all. I prefer the handle as opposed to a push button to open. I also like the fact that when you press stop, or open the door when it is beeping at the end of the cook cycle, the beeping stops.

Nice Features

I have only been using my new microwave for a short time, but so far it’s working just as expected. I especially like the size, the looks, and the handle. I don’t care for a microwave that needs to open by pushing that crazy button. A handle is perfect, and a must have for me. There are several preset buttons for one touch cooking/heating which are a nice feature. As with any new appliance, there is a learning curve to figure out which settings work best for your needs. The microwave box was delivered right to my door, at a competitive price, and it wasn’t too heavy for me to carry inside. What a great way to buy a microwave!

Love my new microwave

Just what I was looking for and at an amazing price! I love the look of this sleek microwave, it's just the right size and has every feature I was looking for. My old microwave died,I had it too long anyways, so I had to scramble and find a new one asap, got this bad boy for a great price and came right to my door 2 days later, thank you Prime! It arrived just as promise and was a snap to set up, just unload, plug in, and set time. Easy! I'm actually very excited about my new microwave and the popcorn it makes me!

So far, very good!

OK - Initial impression. Excellent. After reading the instructions, I like the way the unit is operated, and the sensor operation works very well. Looks good and was very reasonably priced. Only slight complaint, I had to "learn" the location of the controls since it is located in a dark corner of my countertop and the touch panel is hard to read there. This unit is replacing my Sharp microwave that died (the touch panel gave up the ghost) after 20+ years. Remains to be seen if it has legs like that! I'll wait at least a year then give it a usage review.

Thumbs up to hOme for another great product! Our ancient microwave was on the fritz so I was on the hunt for a new one. I have another hOme product that I am pleased with so I thought I'd give them another shot. Glad I did! Powerful little microwave, looks great in my kitchen. Lots of great pre-programmed settings (yay, popcorn!). Great product for a great price.
