I'm not technical. Don't want to be either. For me something needs to work right the first time and every time. I'm using the Thunderbolt Dock with a Dell XPS 15, 2 AOC monitors, wireless Logitech keyboard/mouse, Logitech speakers and a Basix NT 3500 external hard drive. I plugged it all in, powered it up, and everything worked perfectly! ZERO hiccups. And with a download speed of 182.81 mbps and upload of 12.02 mbps I remain unchanged pre and post dock install.

Unlike many portable USB-C docks I've tried, this one does 60 Hz HDMI and full charging. Almost every portable dock but one will not charge a Dell XPS-13 9370--a warning symbol shows. Because of USB-C port bandwidth, all the portable docks will only support 4K 30 Hz.

This works perfectly with my new Dell Latitude 5580 which has a Thunderbolt card. My notebook automatically starts up in morning as soon as I plug in the USB C cable to it. The unit is relatively small for what it does.

I spent a lot of time shopping for a docking station or hub, primarily to connect my new laptop with an older monitor and Ethernet, and also to provide flexibility to connect other items. So far I'm very pleased, it's easy to connect my laptop with one Thunderbolt 3 cable to the display (VGA connection), external speakers, power supply, DVD drive, and external hard drive. I can also charge my phone from the dock or transfer files between my laptop and phone. This docking station does not heat up and it includes a range of ports for connect to monitors - VGA, HDMI, DP, and miniDP. So far I've only connected one monitor, but the Dell description says the monitors will extend your display, not just mirror a display as some of the products do. I purchased mine from Amazon Warehouse for a reduced price; it was not in the original packaging, but it worked well and the price was much more reasonable.

Love it. Made sure to update all drivers and it worked perfectly with my Dell XPS 9560. So cool to only plug in one cable and to use a network cable instead of Wifi

Excelent I have 2 monitors connect to my notebook, work as should be. Just perfect.

It works as advertised and a huge space saver and additional functionality.

It is everything I wanted for the laptop, I do not have to open up for power up, don’t need to use charger it keeps it changed and all peripheral devices are connected the laptop is ready to go by unplugging one cord.
