This rugged camera is compact and not only clear and easy to view but comes with backup lines superimposed on the video image to assist in helping me back up my 34 foot travel trailer. The lines can be removed by simply cutting a wire loop when you install the camera. Unbelievable quality, value and performance. These may be intended for automotive applications but I am already thinking of several other applications where they would excel. in some, a longer cord would have been nice but certainly not a necessity.

This is a nice camera, small and easy to install. Great video quality, simple to wire up. Tapped into power from behind the head unit using the provided cable and grounded it to the trunk. No need to mess with the reverse light wire harness splicing and trying to find the positive wire. You have the option of cutting a wire to disable the display lines or do what I did and adjust the head unit setting and use the ones from the camera.

I drove the 2019 Jeep Cherokee latitude for a few weeks my car was in an accident (basically a bystander) Long story short the jeeps backup camera 📷 is absolute garbage 🗑 compared to an inexpensive camera like this one ☝️ so far very good no problems at all fingers super crossed 🤞

I was looking for a backup camera that wasn’t very bulky and I found this one. It looks good and seems to work just fine. Because of the spot I mounted it the part that screws on wasn’t long enough, so I used silicon to hold it in place.

My new headunit came with a backup camera, but it was really cheesy looking. The original was a brick on a swivel hinge. It also had the fat RCA composite video plug hardwired to the camera. This means the hole you drill into your car to run the wire through would have to be at least that big. This brilliant camera uses a tiny 1/8th inch diameter bullet connector to connect the RCA to the camera. The housing is also the sleek nondescript style so it's not aftermarket looking.

Great little camera, build quality is awesome. I was expecting a cheap plastic camera but was pleasantly surprised by the metal body. Appears to be aluminum. I mounted it my self as seen in the picture, but had Best Buy wire it to the rear view mirror that I bought separately on Amazon. Looks factory from the outside. Great vision in all light conditions. Once in a while if on a dirt road, the dust or mud will block the lens. A gentle wipe and it's clean.

For the price, excellent camera. I just wanted something to watch when putting my truck in the garage, as mine is a Crewmax and I have about 2 inches of spare room. This helps me not hit my cabinets and tool box. Guide lines are very useful as red means I am about to hit the bumper. On a 2007 Tundra, I just drilled a small hole under the Toyota emblem and secured it there. Ran the wire across the grill, up the hood to drivers side firewall access hole.

This camera was easy to install and had clear instructions. It is possible to disable the parking guidelines and rotate the picture by cutting a couple of wires. I disabled the parking guide as my head unit overlays custom guidelines. For the price, I was surprised by the heft and quality of the camera. Picture quality is quite good in daylight and usable at night. It would be better with some night mode LEDs for true night vision, but it works just fine the way it is. Would purchase again if needed.

Power from ( + ) and ( - ) on tail reverse light to the camera, wire through the car to the front, piggyback lighter fuse, power this to mirror, negative ground to the car. Done! Great Product, they did not provide clear instruction for amateur installation, I suggest you do research. As far as the product goes, 5 stars.

The design is very well thought out. It gives you ton of cabling to get from the back of a 200+ inch SUV to the head unit. It also has just the right hookups you would need to get to a head unit and to your backup lights (for switching). The main cable that feeds power and video output from the camera also has a neat quick connect thing, so you don't have to worry about dealing with an awkward mess of cables as you are installing the camera. The only downside is the issue others have mentioned with putting it on the rear paneling (like a tailgate handle) instead of under the bumper lip. I went with the latter approach, so I didn't have to take the camera apart. As far as the image quality, it is very good. Not HD by any stretch, but it's plenty good enough to make sure you won't be running over any kids or squirrels.
