Lots of Power. Easy Start.
We love this chainsaw! We have a gas chain saw, but it is a pain to start. Probably because we only used it a couple of times a year. Saw this. The price was right. Looks like it had enough power based on the battery voltage. So we bought it. Really great. Lighter than a gas chain saw. Has cut easily through 9” logs. A dream to start. Press and hold down the button for a few seconds and you are ready to start cutting. No need for a second battery unless you are going to be cutting for hours. We have used ours all day long and the battery was fine, because most of the time, we were picking up and disposing of the cut branches and logs. Actual time spent cutting is small. Compare this to a gas saw. You hold it down on the ground with your foot and yank a cord until it finally starts. Take this over than any day. While the bar is only 14 inches, so it isn’t going to replace gas saws for felling large trees, it is big enough to do what most homeowners need it to do.

Great light weight saw
This is my fifth Husky, and to be honest, I'm too old now to throw around my old (25 yrs) 262. But this little whizzer cuts up a storm, doesn't make much noise, doesn't break my back. It will fall and buck up to 10-12 in Doug fir, which is about all I'm up to. No gas to mix. What's not to like. Really good little saw. Won't last forever, but then neither will I.

Very versitle and capable saw.
Bought this saw in addition to a Husqvarna 450e. This one was supposed to be for my grandson to help me clear my raw property for a driveway and more. Unfortunately here in Arizona we are at such a high fire hazard that I can not use the 450e. Fortunately, I CAN use the 120i. In the 4 days I have used it so far I have cleared over 500' for driveway and this little saw is amazing. As someone else stated, with intermittent use, like clearing away what you cut, I am getting about 3-4 hours on a charge. By then I am usually about out of power also so that is a days work. Great little saw for more than you would think.

Great replacement for small gas saws
I've had this for a few months now, and used it to clear downed trees on trails, top and chunk trees while climbing, and cut up trees on the ground. I love it. The run time hasn't been an issue, because I'm not using it continuously all day, and I'd say I get 30 minutes of actual cutting out of it per charge. That doesn't sound like much, but when you figure most small cuts only take ten seconds or so it goes a long way. I LOVE not need hearing protection. It's just light enough for me to use with one hand safely, and I will use it at arm's length for certain risky or hard to reach cuts. It cuts just as fast as a small gas saw given equivalently set-up chains, although the perception is of less power since it's not roaring in your face. The run time could be an issue if you want to be out cutting all day. Even with a second battery, recharging with the provided charger is slow enough that you could go through both batteries before the first one was charged up again, and additional batteries are expensive to begin with. Pros: quiet, no gas / exhaust smell, no tune-ups, starting is never an issue, light weight. Cons: can't go *all day*, doesn't charge quickly.

Excellent for home and camp
This is the perfect chainsaw for a homeowner with small trimming chores or in my case somebody who lives in an urban area and goes hunting and camping. I’m pretty experienced when it comes to chainsaws. I lived in Maine for 10 years and cut firewood every summer to heat my house over the long winter. Are used to cut firewood with a large Still chainsaw. I would cut upwards of 8 cords. You aren’t going to do that with this chainsaw! This is perfect for somebody who has a couple of trees in their yard and wants to trim them over in my case somebody who’s going to go camping and hunting and wants to cut some firewood. Not having to mess around with gasoline or fighting to start the saw is a real pleasure. It runs long enough to allow you to cut up some firewood. Being really quiet is another bonus. I live in a gated community and I think my neighbors lease blower makes twice as much noise as the strange side does.

Just what I needed
I already own and was impressed with my Husqvarna battery weed eater so when I was looking for a chain saw and found this I ordered it immediately. It cut right through the small tree in the fence line on my property and would be great for removing limbs.

A very decent saw.
This is a very decent little chainsaw. It won’t do everything a larger gas powered saw will do, but it cuts well, its cleaner and much quieter. So far I’m happy with it. I purchased an extra battery, so o can put one on charge, while using the other. I will use this when I want to do some quick cutting or when I want to generate less noise. It won’t do large trees, of course, but 10” or 12” diameter is possible. One added note: This saw comes with a scabbard, so you don't need to purchase one separately.

Very Nice Chainsaw for Occasional Use

Nice saw for home owner use.
For a battery saw this works well. Only have used once for about 20 minutes of cutting and it worked great. Did not bind or stall. Was cutting 1 to 4 inch diameter wood. Still read as a full charge when I finished. The balance is also great. I have used battery saws that are "handle heavy". Im just cutting small stuff and trimming, not cutting firewood. Works perfect for me. Will probably get the leaf blower that shares the same battery. Really like that its quiet and i can use it whenever i want without anoying my neighbors.

PERFECT FOR MY SITUATION
I've had this saw about a month and I'm happy with it so far. I live in the mountains of New Mexico among pinon, juniper, and oak. I thin the trees for fire safety and use the wood to heat my house. 75% of what I cut is under 6 inches in diameter, 25% is between 6 and 12 inches diameter, and only occasionally a branch or tree over 12 inches. I'm not cutting continuously because I stop to make decisions about what to cut, and to drag the logs and slash out of the way. In this intermittent, light-duty style of cutting I can work for about three hours on one charge. When I'm doing more continuous cutting, such as bucking a pile of logs into fireplace lengths, the battery lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes. It doesn't seem to make a difference whether I use full-speed mode or e-Save mode. This is small diameter bucking. If you were continuously cutting large diameter logs the battery probably wouldn't last as long. Keeping your chain sharp prolongs battery life. Charging a fully depleted battery usually takes me 2 to 2-1/2 hours. I don't mind that I can only fell for three hours, or buck for 1-1/4 hours, before having to recharge. The saw is lighter and quieter than a gas saw, has less vibration, starts and stops instantly, and it's really nice not having to mess with gas. The user needs to be aware that the saw has a few different automatic shutoff features. The owner's manual is long but it's worth reading once to make sure you're aware of those features. Otherwise you might think the saw is malfunctioning when it's not. If it's idle for more than 60 seconds the power button needs to be pressed to restart. If the chain brake is engaged it won't start. If you overload the motor by pushing too aggressively into the wood or by tangling the chain in foliage, the chain will stop. If you back off slightly and try again it will work. This is nice feedback that alerts you to binding, etc. The "felling direction mark" is handy. It's a raised ridge of plastic that runs all the way around the body of the saw. Whether you're making the top cut of your wedge cut or the felling cut from the back of the hinge, point the line to the place you want the tree to fall. It has improved my accuracy. So far my one complaint is that it's hard to push the power button. It often takes me two or three tries before it turns on. It seems to require a very firm push directly in the center of the button. I've also noticed that the automatic chain oiler does not oil the change nearly as heavily as my other saws. This is nice because the saw isn't as messy and I don't use as much oil, but I've wondered whether it's adequate. The manual says you can test this by pointing the bar 8 inches from a light colored surface and running the saw for 60 seconds. It says the oil will make a dark line on the surface. My saw does this, so I guess it's getting enough oil? If so, I like the more precise use of bar & chain oil with less waste. But I still feel a little nervous about whether it's enough. Overall I have found this saw to be effective and easy to use. I am happy with this purchase and would buy this saw again.
