Easy and worthwhile to do

I use this to hold my thickness planer, which is just too heavy for me to lift out of a storage spot onto a work surface. When lowered, my planer stores perfectly under a wing of my table saw. When I want to use it, I wheel it out, jack it up using the convenient foot pedal, and set a roller stand on the outfeed side. Previous reviews are correct -- that there is very little clearance between the jack assembly and the floor. So scraps of wood or electrical cords can hand you up when rolling the cart. I headed off that problem by shimming the casters with a couple of washers to raise the cart about 1/4 inch. Easy and worthwhile to do.

Great lifting device

I found this to be a well made product. It lifts and lowers quite easily. I recommend this product. I do not use this product to lift motor cycles. I use the product to lift kitchen cabinets into place. The device lifts the cabinet into place and holds it in the correct position until the cabinet can be screwed into place. The device only lifts 34 inches, so I built a 24 inch tall box that fits over the devices lifting platform. Now I can easily lift cabinets over 50 inches. This device really helps me.

Easy to use and small foot print.

This is a hydraulic table for lifting or lowering heavy items. It has a small footprint and doesn't take a lot of room in my garage. Adjusting the down speed is sensitive. I had to do it in 1/8 to 1/4 turns to find the desired speed of descent. There is a safety crossbar that I will always use to prevent ugly accidents. I used self-adhesive velcro to attach it to the unit so it will always be handle.

Perfect for raising the beer fermenter

I am using this device to elevate my 7 gallon beer fermenter when transferring beer to the keg. It's the perfect size and height. I am sure it would also work to elevate a motorcycle for repairs, but that is not how I am using it.

Useful as general lifting tool

I used it to lift a heavy air conditioner into place and it worked great. Since then I also used it to position a large replacement window for installation. Another review mentioned low clearance of the hydraulic cylinder mount. This is true and it snags on any irregularities in the floor when you'r rolling it. I just lived with it so far but it would be easily fixed with spacers on the castors. Not a huge problem.

Worth the few extra dollars

Much nicer than the other knock-offs. First ordered a knockoff that advertised foot pedal’s but arrived with pedal lift and knob release. It didn’t even lift good with no load on it and had rough weld joints. Returned immediately. Ordered this and was noticeably better quality as soon as I opened the box. It has both pedals (lift and lowering) and works great. Worth the few extra dollars.

Small but powerful

Amazing little lift here. I have a motorcycle but I use my center stand on the bike for basic maintenance. I bought this to make a TV stand I could roll around and raise up. It was exactly what I needed.. Its sturdy when raised up and does not take up much space really. I'm going to get one more because i found it helpful for some other things as well.

Better that a big bike lift.

Works good. 2 wheels have brake or lock so it won’t roll. Bike sits on plastic mat that holds it very well if you don’t want to lock it down. I had one of those big bike lifts but always had to put bike on stand for tire or suspension and if you don’t put on stand on bike lift had to use strap that always got in the way and couldn’t turn handle bars/front wheel. This is a much better set up for working on dirt bikes.

I use it as a sculpting stand

This is a great product for me, but I don't use it for what it was made for. If you need a stand to work on any three dimensional object, it works great. I am a sculptor with a small studio and it is perfect for me, and much more economical than buying a stand through a sculpture supply house.

cycle stand

It won't lift my bike it weighs 970 lbs, but I bought it to work on lawn mowers or amy thing that I can at a level easy to work at. I also use it sit on while working on my car breaks or changing tires (adjustable hight is nice.
