These things are amazing - they got my qc35s working with overwatch. The microphone works great and the sound is still great (unlike when using the Bluetooth connection).

Seamless with my setup on windows 10. Plugged in some beats headphones and everything now sounds great and the in-line microphone automatically worked without issue. I got this as there was background static when plugging into the analog soundcard on the motherboard and, as expected given the way digital audio works with usb connections, it isn't present using this product.

My onboard sound card would not work after installing a new graphics card. I tried everything possible, make sure I had the correct devices enabled, re-installed realtek drivers (both motherboard and realtek supplied). The only thing I can think is that there was in advertent hardware damage in my tower, though I built it and am always very careful. It could have also occured during the regular blowout cleaning. Regardless, this fixed the problem in two seconds. As soon as I connected it it worked.

This saved my online teaching business. I was having audio problems and getting complaints from clients and the company IT folks. I got a new headset, but still had problems. Finally figured out it was either the audio jack or the sound card. Bought this item and have had GREAT audio ever since. One of my clients posted a review that my audio quality had improved, and my bookings picked up.

I bought this for simplicity to work with some basic earbuds with a mic built-in on the same cable, as I couldn't get them to work in the front inputs (it would detect I put something into either jack, but would not make any sound, and I couldn't be heard). Prior to purchasing this, I was (without issue) chatting in games via a controller hooked up through USB, using the controller's own 3.5mm connector for the earbuds, but I wanted to make it a little more simple, as I don't care for a big wireless gaming headset. I find those uncomfortable after a while. Eventually, since I didn't want to mess with the controller, instead, I wanted to run a 6 ft 3.5mm extender cable (that I already had, but wasn't using at the moment) from the back of my computer, out of sight underneath my desk, neatly resting near my keyboard/mouse, but needed to have both the mic and stereo jack available on the rear inputs (which wasn't the case for the mic). Purchasing this with the single mic/stereo input together was something I knew would solve my problem. I just had to tweak a few sound settings and now voice chat comes through the earbuds clearly, and I can also be heard without issues. Other thoughts: I would have preferred a black color option, but as of writing this, did not see one. Despite that, the overall look and build quality of the little adapter is nice all the same, and hides between other cables well enough.

I bought this USB sound adapter because the weird audio card in my Baytrail ChromeBook isn't supported by recent versions of the Linux kernel. I wanted a single jack and a short cable, so my choices were limited. There are cheaper solid adapters, but I was worried that they would put stress on the USB port and break it. I prefer the flexible design of this adapter. The sound quality of the audio output seems acceptable for headphones. I haven't tried the audio input.

This item is better than I thought it would be. Why? Because it differentiates itself on my Mac by showing up as "Headphones" instead of "USB Audio Device" which when you switch speakers often, as I do, takes the guesswork out of the selection. Without this feature, I have to guess which USB Audio device I am switching to since I have three "USB Audio Device(s)".

This was a very inexpensive purchase and it worked perfectly with my computer. My computer's audio jack failed to work properly, so I used the USB sound converter and presto! I was once again able to listen to my music, and videos on my computer. The sound quality is great, without any distortions. Excellent buy, at a great price.

Used this to convert my Lavalier Lapel Microphone 3.5mm to USB to attach to my laptop. Works perfectly and provides a solid connection! The packaging with a resealable bag was simple but utilitarian. The device comes with a nicely fitting cap over the USB end to keep it dust free. It has a solid feel, seems very well made, and is quite appealing to the eye. I highly recommend this little attachment.

AWESOME! If you need your wired headset that you use on your iPhone or Android to work on your computer, buy this! If you're running Windows 10 with no hardware issues, this thing works great! I use this with Cisco Jabber. Much cheaper than buying a Blutooth Headset plus USB blutooth adapter.
